I have a message for Chaos Tackle. I used a squid bait on lake ST. CLAIR and caught a ton of pike and musky. They really went for the realistic rubber squid bait. Used for salt water I tried it on fresh water. I soon realized that bucktails and the Medusa lures look like squid. I then surmised that the fresh water musky and pike may have an ancient ancestor that loved squid as a food source. This is very important to think about. Nothing in the fresh water lakes look like buck tails or Medusas. Why do they love these lures so much? I believe that they look like the squid that they used to feed on millions of years ago in salt water. I would recommend that they make a 15 or 20 inch soft rubber squid bait for the musky and pike fishermen. The lure I used was only 10 inches long. It caught smaller fish but lots of them. If the lure was much bigger, those monster slabs would go for it. Big fish love big meals. That is a proven fact! I hope this message reaches the head of Chaos Tackle.
