So many good options. The Peak Design travel backpack is an easy recommendation too
A classic (yet controversial) one
Watched enough of his videos to recognise there is a personal bias against Peak Design, and is probably seen as "overrated", he probably will say uncomfortable. Don't get me wrong, he has mentioned their products here and there, but it's noticeable that it's consciously minimal, the recommendation for Peak Design.
Nice video. I am a huge AER Fan (Travel Pack 1, City Sling, Day Sling, Flight Pack 1 and 3 in X-Pac). I have used the Flighto three-day business trips. I am so tempted to try an Evergoods, Bellroy, or Able Carry travel backpack. I g Packs for one-tot the Able Carry 13, perfect for everyday carry in HK.
hell yea!
Hey Aaron , possibly a mistake on the Alpaka Elements backpack pro. I think you showed the elements travel backpack, and not the back pack pro.
🫡
That’s correct
oh crap, thank you!
Awesome video !! The CPL24 is such a versatile bag and the AER always wins over a lot of people !! The CTB20 for the ones who want a water bottle pocket and want to stay in the Evergoods universe !! As usual inspirational vid for a fellow carry enthusiast !!
Thanks so much!
Hey Aaron, great video!! But... I'm having a kid in six months and I don't want a lame baby bag but a super cool bag that will make all the moms and dads jealous. What would be a good recommendation for a bag to carrying all my baby gear? Budget can be up to $300 or less.
Who cares what others think? Get what helps you care for your baby and spouse well 👌👍👏👏
All these bags would work, no?
Chase did one specifically with baby stuff in mind but besides the baby specific ones it included bags like Aaron presented here.
The best is when you see a dad confidently wearing his wife’s colorful, feminine baby bag because he doesn’t give a care. Unbeatable fashion.
@@glassmw9823 As a bag enthusiast, I care. Not sure about the laptop compartment but imagine pulling up to daycare with an Aer City Pack Pro, just straight 🔥!
@@DaemonViews I will have to check out chase’s video. Thanks for the heads up.
Thanks for the video mate. No dedicated review of the matein yet
Cheers! No review of the Matein planned for now as we have so many bag reviews to shoot that are much more in demand from our community, but hopefully one day!
I grabbed a GR2 after the full review. The organization that is built in is great for me - I’m not a pouch person.
Awesome to hear!
Surprised you never done any reviews on cabinzero packs
Me too, hopefully soon
What about the GORUCK bullet ruck double compartment? I believe you have a full review on it coming soon, right? Oh and the dragonfly? 😉🤩
Review on both coming soon!
Aaron, have you had a chance to try out Cotopaxi’s bags? Been curious about the Allpa 28 for minimal travel lately.
Haven’t yet, hoping to soon!
I just bought the Aer Flight 3, almost buying the travel 3 but it’s size is just a bit too much for international airlines as personal item I think… hoping I made a good choice overall. Good to see it on this list too
I had used AER Travel Pack 2 X-PAC for international travel. It fit at the big flight carrier upper luggage cabin space just fine, just don’t over pack or exceeding weight limit.
However, it won’t fit under the flight seat in front or might be tight for the smaller plane overhead cabin size. Also beware budget airlines carryon weight limits. Example, those Asia, Europe domestic and Australia domestic airlines.
Tom Bihn Techonaut 30 is my choice, light, big enough, extremely practical, highly recommended
Can’t wait to get my hands on a TB, I’ve heard so many great things
@@Nomads.Nation Try Synik and Techonaut, I think their best two daily and travel backpacks, highly recommended
For a woman who mainly travels with just clothes, a few toiletries and a tiny bit of tech gear, which would you recommend between Alpaka, Bellroy and the Able Carry?
All can work! My preference is able carry
Isn't the alpaka backpack metioned in video is Alpaka travel pack not Alpaka Elements Backpack Pro?
that is correct
Aaron, please review the HyperPack Pro backpack. It has cool features, great water-resistant materials, and tons of organization pockets. It's completely underrated.
It’s on our wish list :)
@@Nomads.Nation Cool, thanks 👍🏻
What about fjailraven raven 20/28?
Haven’t reviewed it, hoping to soon!
Great info but I’m waiting for my Fyro backpack
🫶🏽
Can you review the Bellroy Venture Travel Pack 26L? Like the venture ready pack 26L but has a few differences and more expensive.
we have it in our office, hoping to do a review in the next few months (as we have soo many bags to review). Be sure to check out our quick-look we did of this bag we sent to our email list - ckarchive.com/b/mvu7h5hg68rwkuv5oo45wievmllqqh3
Thumbs up 👍 for bellroy🦉
🫶🏽
Do you prefer the AER TP3S to the Aer CPP? If so, why?
they are both great, really can't go wrong with either, just let the size dictate your decision. If you want bigger, go TP3, if you want smaller go CPP
Can we get a college backpack edition?
We published one a few years ago and will be publishing a new one in a few weeks 💪🏻
Umm, that’s not the ALPAKA Pro, that’s the Travel Backpack! Still awesome though!
Yup been pointed out a few times already in the comments - cheers!
Another GREAT video!!
Cheers!
$29 for the 29 liter Outdoor Products backpack at Walmart can’t be beat. Comfy straps, extreme durability, organization, fashionable urban military molle ruck style in dark gray. I thought the zippers might be cheap but it’s a beast. I’m a bag junkie and this is my daily hauler for music gigs and weekend jaunts where fancy is out of place.
Awesome to hear!
Would you want to do a video with less technical / more heritage or “organic” backpacks and materials? Such as Trakke Bannoch.
I’d love to! I can only include bags I have reviewed / have on hand and I’ve tried to get Trakke to send us gear but to no avail yet. Hopefully soon!
love it, looking for a good theme park family back pack
Glad it was helpful!
What about Nomatic Travel Backpack V2?
Solid bag! We’ve done a few reviews on it
👍
❤️
Hi Aaron, how come the Peak Design Travel BP is not part of this list? National Geographic ranked it #1 for 2024. I hate to think that recommendations on your channel from now on might only be referenced if there’s a financial incentive for you. I can understand so, but at the same time it can create misleading advice. I hope this is not the case. As always, thanks for the great content. 👊🏼
Thanks so much! I like the PD travel backpack but if you google “peak design travel backpack uncomfortable” you’ll see why I didn’t include it. The bag has so many amazing features but the shoulder straps are notoriously terrible for comfort
Also we are an affiliate with Peak Design, so recommending them does come with a financial incentive 😉
@@Nomads.Nation thanks for the response. I recently purchased this backpack and so far no issues with the straps for me. For a 45L bag do you find many people having the need to walk tons with it? If so, I can see how a backpack this size can be overwhelming for most people given the weight you’re going to be carrying. I imagine most people using this pack would be in transit from their car, to airport, to public transportation headed to their hotel/ final destination. When you have reached your final destination, pull out the lightweight packable backpack to use for day trips. Pack Hacker recently updated their best travel backpack list and they have the Peak Design Travel BP #3 with a score of 8.9 /10. Anyway, I respect your professional opinion and I’m glad your top backpack recommendations are not driven by affiliation incentives. Your content and personality are some of the best I’ve seen. I’m confident the success and income will continue to follow you and your team, the right way. I look forward to checking out your backpack soon! All the best… 👊🏼
More Fyro stuff soon.???
Announcement coming soon 😏
Oh man, an average human is not paying more than 100 bucks for a bag.
Very true, but that tide is also turning now that more and more people are seeing how amazing these premium backpacks are
They are also prob not watching a long video on backpack reviews
@@djdeckstar all we do is bag reviews and we get more and more views by the month - it's a growing interest!
@@Nomads.Nation yeah I love the trend. in Melbourne (Australia) we have had a strong quality bag culture with Crumpler who’s nearly been around for 30 years. Bellroy is what we are known for globally but Crumpler is still loved and going strong
It was like Aaron put up the bat signal for the Goruck Defense Force to assemble by putting that GR1 front and center. Reporting for duty! 🫡
