The Midwifery Center at TMC for Women

A tour of the brand new Midwifery Center at TMC for Women, TMC HealthCare. The Midwifery Center at TMC for Women, an accredited in-hospital birthing unit, will provide a family-centered experience for women who are at low risk and who want to have a natural, unmedicated birth here in Tucson.
The Midwifery Center, formerly El Rio Birth Center, is an accredited birth center attended by midwives that since 1982 has offered a model unique from traditional hospital labor and delivery experiences:
•Water births are available
•Births are free of interventions
•Moms are typically able to go home within four to 12 hours after delivering their baby
