The composer, Justin Bell, was seriously channeling Jeremy Soule (the composer of Skyrim, among many, many others). Most of the songs on this soundtrack are very similar to Jeremy Soule songs.

Albeit I gave up on this game near the end because I lost interest in the plot, I have to admit this is by far one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard in a RPG!
