Your work is so beautiful! I am glad I found your channel. I am an artist who has been dealing with some life circumstances in the past couple of years that have taken me away from creating. I have been watching videos to spark my own enthusiasm so I can get back to work in 2024. I absolutely love your technique of negative space painting. Another artist who uses that in her work is Erin Hanson. Both of you are experts at color, also! Vibrant work is my vibe as well. I look forward to more of your videos. FYI, I went to your website but it isn’t currently published. I imagine you know this, but just in case it was accidental I am giving you a head’s up. Happy New Year!

Hello, Madison! Thank you so much for your kind words. I can definitely relate to life circumstances getting in the way of creativity. Right now I'm preparing to rebrand and will have a new website soon. There's a lot happening behind the scenes. I'm so glad you like the videos. Happy New Year!

Such a helpful and well done video for the aspiring and even pro artist! Thank you, Jennifer. I love your artwork. I am preparing the final touches (which includes titles, of course) on several of my quilt art pieces for a window art exhibit this October. Gee, your suggestions are super helpful!

I was very interested in this, but then you said "Made Smors" and I've not the slightest idea what that means. Can you explain?

I believe titling non representational abstract paintings is a fraud. In the history of mankind, no artist has ever begun that style of painting with a title. Only when finished is it titled. Even then, the word “serenity” is used 85% of the time.

That's the downside of being a know-it-all, unfortunately.
