I never thought about traveling seas like that lol it's very cool
There are some maps where knowing this comes in handy! 😃
Its especially important on Chop Maps since it allows Peasents/Peons to skip land masses to either invade enemy ground or to setup Air and Magi structures in an empty square.
Or when you wall off your base and you want to get your battle units on the outside.
We tried a little chop (rare on usa server) recently and it was really fun seeing it again.
I used to always argue that top right always had a building advantage in pball build maps
Quite interesting. Thanks!
This video had a bit of a slow start but it was really good. I'm glad I stayed.
Yeah it's basically super important to know how the guys pop out of buildings if you want to win np. :)
Nice deep dive on this, can you go into ai building patterns? :D
I dont know how i ended up watching a warcraft II tutorial on youtube, but i was very surprised to hear a nice sounding female voice explaining mechanics :)
I loved this game back in the day, but i just cant see myself playing it in multi player due to the bloodlust spell. Spellcasting in general is a bit annoying in both War1 and SC1 due to the lack of auto casting.
Aww hah tx 😄
Spellcasting, it becomes more automatic the more you do it, like muscle memory np heh
Nice video from the Queen of War2USA
LoL. Thank you @Official Dark Reign
Had the pleasure of playing with you a few nights ago. Appreciate the tutorial. Im way out of practice 😅
Oh, nice, what map was it we were playing on and what aka were you? I intended to make a lot more tutorials but life got so much busier heh. Glad you liked it. :)
@@w2babyshark SirTheo60. We did a few weird ones.
2:00 All these years I had no idea of the actual production mechanics that high end player actually pay attention to.
Спасибо, интересное видео. Dar

hey, I wanted to ask how I can lock specific units for some maps in the warcraft 2 map editor. For example i dont want the enemy be able to make grunts.
Yeah, I don't want my enemies to be able to make anything either lol. ;)
You could make orc or human grunts cost a ton and then play the other race or something.
@@w2babyshark yeah i also thought about that xd
@@w2babyshark oh also, do you know how the air attack AI works? I always give it enough gold but it doesnt make any dragons the entire round
@@pazcal3k162 In my experience, they don't make air units at all, and only make water units if they start near water. In fact, AFAIK it's impossible to lose in single player on River Fork.
@@Wiimeiser interesting
Neato!
Yeah there's some neat stuff that happens because of the unit exit pattern! Like you can hop an enemy wall into their base!
@@w2babyshark I am not sure how good that would be if its only one unit and they didnt notice. I am not expert though.
Woow)
:O
4:00 wtf?!
telling people to avoid obstructing exits should be sufficient. telling them how to manage their teleport glitches is futile as it isnt something anyone would intuitively know how to do and learning how just slows everything down as you said, wasting time isnt something you want to do.
