Deeanna has been living in Tahoe for the past four years, but apartment life just wasn’t cutting it. Along with her adorable four-legged friend Luna, she decided to move into something more mobile. Deeanna bought a small shuttle bus for $15,000, renovated it by hand, and moved in within eight months. Since her cozy home on wheels can move, Deeanna can post up by the lake for a waterside workday or take to the open road for a change of scenery. She has embraced living more conservatively and appreciates the limited resources she has that many of us take for granted.
Life on the road isn’t always as laidback as it may seem, though. Deeanna candidly tells Bustle her experiences with judgment from those she crosses paths with and the steps she takes to avoid this. She never stays in one place for too long, keeping herself and Luna safe and unbothered. At the same time, this unconventional lifestyle has taught Deeanna to be more introspective and to cut out anything that no longer serves her. By simplifying her space, she learned to simplify her life.

I love living in my Shuttle Bus full time. I am at home now for two months and it's very hard on me. I came back home because of family illness and I really want to go back on the road. The Shuttle Bus life style makes me happy and it's healthy for me. Sitting around in my family home is hard after living in a Forrest with like minded people. I am going back to living in the road soon and I can't wait.

Hi. I live in a minivan with my 3 cats. I left Maine for San Diego for weather issues for the cats mostly. It's an issue here too in San Diego, about living in a vehicle. So I wanted to give you a possible inspiration. As you said, introspectively speaking, spend time moving your feelings to a peaceful loving your life with no explanations needed attitude. You can say or do whatever, but when you change how you feel you will attract the people around you that fit your focus. Including police. I do it all the time. I'm building a channel too called ancient healing light on UA-cam. It birthed out of a vanlife interview of my life with the cats. I'm looking to get a small shuttle bus too. That's how I found you. Your lovely and sweet. Let that sit with you solidly as a simple right of who you are. I don't conflict not compete with anyone. I bless and love and so much just goes away. Take care. Love from us to you and your dog. Maybe I'll see you down the road. We are heading to Nor CA very soon.

We love this idea of Tahoe! Our bus 2010 e450 sckolie (wheelchair lift for me!)
Those lifts are $15k ! Pls have folks donate lift to Disablility groups.
Our van has hybrid electric 💡⚡ but needs help! Hybrid System by Azure who went out of business 2012 so it's hard to find support for hybrid.
Oddly you can't turn off hybrid really so it will go 8 mph on hybrid only or no hybrid. But engine won't work without hybrid sys ! Need manual for Hybrid system

I was going to do this I had everything planned out and ready to go. Then I kept hearing from a bunch of people that a lot of people are having breakdowns. Breakdowns that cost them up to $5,000. So I decided to just buy a home and save up to buy an actual camper and then vacation out of that.
you tend not to hear from most people who don't have breakdowns or have minor issues
I always buy fairly late model and lower miles...I'd go diesel here, imo. Namely for Mpg.
Do they not have a mechanic go over stuff they buy with a very fine toothed comb...?
Where did you find your shuttle bus? I've been looking for almost a year and so many people are so untruthful about what's wrong with these buses

Wait, CO2 alarm goes on the floor.
I didn't know that either, but a firefighter said so.
According to the EPA…Because carbon monoxide is slightly lighter than air and also because it may be found with warm, rising air, detectors should be placed on a wall about 5 feet above the floor. The detector may be placed on the ceiling. Do not place the detector right next to or over a fireplace or flame-producing appliance.

Look up Eric Enjoys Earth here. He's doing it in a minivan and has many many ideas. Less subtle that this gargantuan thing, and of course, much, much better Mpg. You'd only get about 10 with this. Possibly even WITH diesel, which gets better than gas.
You'd save on food and hotels, but use it all moving around in fuel.
