@@Lisa-qd9et well I put a matte black hardcover protection case on it and it looks beautiful and I don’t have to worry about the finger prints on it no more but I’m thinking on buying a leather black case for my Mac that I saw on the internet, it’s a little expensive because it’s real leather but it’s going to look even better. @@Lisa-qd9et No 😭, not really.
Having a case on your MacBook 💻 is the best thing you could possibly do if you want to protect it from scratches and dents plus almost all cases will come with air flow openings at the bottom to ensure your Mac will continue to be cool as if there was no case in it, M2’s are designed to not overheat already so you won’t have any issues besides when you put a case on something you’re giving it your own style.
I also put a screen protection on mine to ensure the screen won’t have any scratches or anything.

I got mine in the midnight blue which is gorgeous and closer to black which is a throwback to the 90s hit the MacBook Pro doesn't have it so the 15 inch macbook air with higher specs can compete especially the new M3 one but it's not that much powerful so not really time to upgrade

The bezels are still quite thick they should have made it look like the macbook pro display.I also hope they will be able to remove the notch in the future when under display webcams become decent enough and also adopt high refresh rate OLED technology for all of its displays.

@@Worthless. it adds extra weight to the screens hinge damaging it over time (it can also kill the screen in some instances) and it basically encases all the heat which makes it get hotter faster. My last MacBook that I had in a case, died due to overheating and the hinge became loose. I have had no issues with my new MacBook Air using no case :)

These new m2 chips can run passively without getting hot warm at the most I don’t see how the case could damage the Mac I have a MacBook since 2020 with a case on and it dosent have overheating issues and the hinge still works great
