since you only bought the laptop for two days :) you still have time. pls do not use any case on this particular model of MacBook Air, overtime, the case will bend your screen. pls pls pls do not use hardshell case. get a sleeve! my screen was bent due to a case like this :(.
I had the 2020 and I'm thinking of getting a new one, but this one seems a lot thicker and heavier. I liked how lightweight the 2020 m1 was, I would forget I was even carrying it

m1 is generally cheaper and good option for uni students and for school, but if u want to spend extra for a better experience, m2 is the best option for that
