How to add back slide jumping in phantom: 1. Bind you space bar to both jump, and jump with no vault. 2. Slide but almost immediately after press space. (C or Ctrl is 1st) 3. When landing on the ground you can zingus slide by pressing shift. Side effects of this binding: you can slide into the hand rails of the map rig and when hugging the rails you press space and you get launched (launch tech) You can no longer standing slide. You can now zingus jump too (I like to call it jank jumping) when you hit the ground press shift and space almost immediately [shift comes 1st]. With this you do a leap while zingus sliding -- TO ME THIS IS REAL BHOPPING
best use for wallrun is just confuse your opponent and shoot them while wallrunning, or just slide into wall midair so youre attached onto the wall for 3 seconds. its most useful in cqb corridors.
I did wall running or sliding by accidented on the mall map, but it save me from taking fall damage, because I accidently fell of the roof of the mall. Also you can negate fall damage by landing on a ladder and start climbing it.
One of my favorite moments on this game is when I got up a 1v1 with a rank 167 sweatlord and ( as a girl owning a rank 233 main and 2 alts over rank60😂) I love to troll allot.. So in the ravod 2016 I was on top of ghost spawn building and the guy shoots me down to 6hp, him expecting me to aither hide or re-peek, and that it's impossible for me to go down and take fall damage.. So I slide down the side inner walls and quickly jump onto the cargo containers and do the wildest flank in existence. Bro was flabbergasted stfg 😂
a tech i've not seen mentioned in the comments yet are vault jumping. It when you vault over a small ledge and then perform a dive followed by dive cancel with either ads or pressing shift. Most useful scenario I can think of is vaulting through a window from the inside then quickly 180 mid air and press the dive button and cancel it to get into the roof of the building you exited from the window (you have to be on the top floor in the building obviously). You have to perform it quickly, and also it sometimes doesn't work depending on which server i play on. Maybe it is ping or latency dependent.
Steven Here's a tip for wall running, hold shift while doing it as it allows you to control your mobility. You can actually wallrun out of a window doing this if you turn fast enough. Also you can leap during a wallrun if you unshift then shift again during a wallrun and you're going upwards.
Oh also suburbia is the general best place to practice movement as there are a lot of launch tech opportunities and ladders and slopes and also a swing set where you can fly if you stand slide and hold space into it
"Ladder zooming" can also be appliccable to the concrete borders that are heavily elevated in terms of their height. Wall-running can be used in metro while in close-quarters as soon as the enemies are moving upwards into the main arena via escelator. Super broken. fantumn fortxces
I’ve found that bhoping is slightly easier by using your thumb to hit c and space, but it only works like 75% of the time since you accidentally hit c before space sometimes. It does allow you to bhop faster though.
ive found a semi usefull way to use wall running where you can use it to peak corners and nobody is gonna expect you to be sliding at like halfway so you can get some kills by wallruning on a wall to peak a corner
also, you can cancel super jumping or just jumping in general if you aim down sights on your gun midway through it, and the right timing allows you to have some extra speed( just a little bit) It can allow you to have get up places or still move around to avoid gunfire perhaps without that endlag you would have when you hit the ground.
wallrunning is awesome for cancelling fall damage, u can for example slide off a building and while holding shift all the time strafe back into it to get stuck in the wall and not take any fall damage
What I find good usually for wallrunning is if you slide directly into a wall, you can most times completely stop yourself from hitting the ground at a large velocity by clinging unto the wall, it sort of helps sometimes when fall damage may be a bit major.
Something interesting I noticed myself, im not sure if it still works as I havent tested it. But eitherway, if you slide and then quickly vault you also get an absurd speed boost. The new stamina system + the new floating damage text, which I find super satisfying, has sparked new interest in to this game for me. (the buffs too, the m107 was my favourite weapon, even if it deserved its nerfs.) Great video btw! I definitely learned some stuff from it that I hadnt realized myself.
Wallrunning has some kinda specific use-cases; if you wallrun into a corner, you'll get "stuck" to the wall for 5-ish seconds which could confuse some players or be used for an ambush of sorts. On Ruins you can wall-run across the gap between the wooden balconies w/ the stain-glass windows to the OTHER wood balcony w/ the two sets of stone stairs leading up to it (idk what to call it, hopefully that description is clear enough), it's a really good way to flank into the enemy spawn without going through the tunnels. There's also some gaps on Winterage you can cross, but they're really only useful if you're playing KOTH. It CAN also be used to break some falls, but it's a little finnicky and not very practical. I think Stylis should make it so you can jump while wallrunning, I think that one little change would instantly make wallrunning much more viable.
THANK YOU. after 7 years my brother and I played phantom forces again, and we got so confused on how people were so fast and how they were jumping so high
wall running is fun for me since i can surprise people in some maps, in some maps such as ravod's underground basement in one of the main spawns, some people get surprised, this is also useful in highway lot's map in the place where you can go underground, it's quite good since people get caught off guard many times
one thing you can abuse with stamina movement is double sliding, which is a jump slide followed by a normal slide, which (to me) feels faster than bhopping if you're going straight, or at least just adds variation to your slide chains so you'd do -RUN -JUMP -PRESS C -PRESS SHIFT -PRESS C PRESS SHIFT -REPEAT
thats just abusing the low slide cooldowns, since jumpsliding is faster than a normal one you can just burst a bunch of jumpslides back to back to go the fastest
hey, quick tip, grenades have different walkspeeds, if you grab a really small one, you get the same walkspeed or almost the same as bare fists, so you can run really fast even with a zweihander equipped
Another great movement tech on especially desert storm but also on other maps is the ability to jump out of a window and instantly dolphin dive out of them to either jump further or even get on top of roofs if you do a 180 before diving which is very helpful to flank
So when it comes to wallrunning, and the way I used it before it was recognized as a feature, is to take no falldamage ever. What you can do is slide off of a ledge and not let go of Shift, this will let you airstrafe into walls and stuff, and you can wallrun with it, if you wallrun right before you hit the ground you will not take fall damage. This words especially well on Mirage Revamp.
If you are sprinting then slide into a ledge and press space it gives you a speed boost over the ledge or road block. You can also do it on the corner of walls. I use this a lot and I have found that it works really well.
Wall running was helpful for me on that long channel in desert storm as it didn’t consume my stamina, allowed me to reload, while moving slightly faster than a sprint.
Wall running is pretty decent for reducing fall damage, particularly on Ravod. If you're on top of a building you can jump down to the ground and wall run near the top for a slight reduction in fall damage, but in most cases just use a ladder.
For your next setup video, I got a k14 setup which is very good for quick "scoping" K14 Sight: ddhb Barrel: any, it doesn't entirely matter (except halberd and muzzle booster) Underbarrel: skelly grip Other: remove barrel Ammo: silent (for quiet funny(silencers are wanted for this ammo, but it doesn't really matter)) Please use this please please please please

2:33 yes I will comment on every different thing for fun facts like when diving if you sprint and then stop moving, the game still thinks you are running sonic you press the dive button/key bind you will be sent in the direction you are facing
3:48 fun fact you can do this and then when you land, you can immediately slide and or start doing slide cancels so to the creator of this channel, if you read my comments a updated video testing these facts would be cool to see if my facts are better or worse
5:43 fun fact, you can do that and if you want after you hit the ground you can immediately go into a slide cancel for extra speed and if you do this in a map with more areas outside than in then doing the b hopping into a slide cancels can sometimes be useful especially if you run a close quarters combat setup (shotguns, short range weapons and heavy hitting modifications for short ranged weapons) then in smaller indoors maps you can bhop into a slide cancel and your enemies will have to use more time to aim and fire thus giving you more time to eliminate them
You didnt talk about slide-vaulting. You just vault in the middle of a slide and it used to boost your speed as much as zingus slides, but i think it got reduced a bit.
The big difference between the stamina and no stamina seems to be burst vs sustained. Honestly it seems like the burst would be better. General traversal and travel isn't going to need the movement tech but when you need to be fast in in a gunfight you can be faster than even good players would expect.
If you b-hop off a ledge or other high object you can still zingus slide that way! This means that you can zingus slide out the window or basically anywhere.
@somesteven wall running is good on the i think its called elavation map where there are 2 main sides connected by bridges if anyone comes up stairs u can wall run down the stairs and its hard to shoot u

you can also do the ladder boosts sideways sometimes, i havent tested it a bunch but its also useful on some crane variations faster and easier to set up that way
Also another use that wallrunning could have is to alternate ways to go down stairs because or you run down the stairs or jump down the stairs but not FLOAT down the stairs... until now
@StaliniumLord_36just gotta play and try to have fun man, you get better along the way. I never practiced anything, just trying to rank up and have fun, and im pretty decent at rank 85.
So anyone know how to dismount yourself from the wall whenever you accidentally trigger a wallrun? The whole thing has basically turned into an annoyance for me especially on maps with weird object placements (which is a whole lot) and I keep accidentally sticking to walls
For super jump you forgot to mention that you can aim while doing the jump and it will get you out of the prone position mid air so you can sprint like normal
You should add the jump boost with obstacles and ladder, or vault with super jump, etc. (wNky movement guide has those tech so long ago and pretty crazy)
AK 12 No recoil setup because I feel like it sight: delta sight barrel: compensator grip: angled grip laser: yellow laser ammo: stock very good mid to close range
Kinda late but there is that little boost you can use by combining sliding and mantling in maps like metro you can move through the entire bottom part like a spider monkey if you time it right lol
I think agreat tip for begginers in phantom forces is to play with 120 fov bc it looks like you run faster and its just looks so good Great video btw❤❤
GOOGLE WILL HAVE HEALTH TIPS. I THINK I MAY HAVE CARPEL TUNNEL SYNDROME FROM CONSTANT COMPUTER USE. I USE A HAND BRACE DURING DAY WHEN PAIN IS BAD. SURGERY? YOU CAN FOR WHAT I HAVE, BUT NO THANKS 😮😢.
I found I could super jump off of a wall...As I jump into the wall while turning my character and super jumping off...I found it very time specific...😁

Hi Steven
If I were you, I would have mentioned that with stamina movement, you can still emp slide normally with just a slightly longer delay

Yeah i mostly use wall run to confuse them (by trying to stay on the wall as long as possible)

Hey i know its not the type of video but I have found the best no Recoil setup. AN-94 with vertical grip,R2 suppressor, Full ring sight and thats it

Underbarrel: skelly grip

Ammo: silent (for quiet funny(silencers are wanted for this ammo, but it doesn't really matter))
Please use this please please please please
My favorite speed boost combo is jump + slide -> sprint when hitting the ground -> jump -> repeat. Timing needs to be immaculate tho.
some notable tech not covered in video: launch tech, empslide, leapslide
launch tech - stand slide (slide, cancel w/ jump) into a object that pushes you up, jump when it pushes you
empslide - stand slide jump, sprint
leapslide - stand slide bind (slide/lower stance + jump bind in settings), jump, sprint (or zingus)
Does emp slide still work? I used to be able to do it but now I can’t. Is it just skill issue or did something change?
empslide still works, just dont do the 2nd jump immediately. if you do, game detects it as a leapslide and applies the nerf. if you really want to, then press sprint asap to minimize the speed loss at the cost of losing the slide state. my advice rn is to avoid empsliding and stick with standsliding and jumpslides unless you need the emp jump. fastest slide tech rn is standsliding.
thanks for recommending me this video steven greatly appreciated

“Im not sweaty” mfs 0.0002 seconds after they see danger:
You didnt talk about slide-vaulting. You just vault in the middle of a slide and it used to boost your speed as much as zingus slides, but i think it got reduced a bit.
The big difference between the stamina and no stamina seems to be burst vs sustained. Honestly it seems like the burst would be better. General traversal and travel isn't going to need the movement tech but when you need to be fast in in a gunfight you can be faster than even good players would expect.
zingus sliding is a part of those tips stylis put in the chat too so they know it exists
im would like if pf would add character skin and skin crates for it or special from events it would be nice but its only my opinion
Wallrun with a melee kill to get a headshot bonus
With wall running you could peak a corner from above by wall running up and then peaking a corner to surprise your enemy
If you b-hop off a ledge or other high object you can still zingus slide that way! This means that you can zingus slide out the window or basically anywhere.
This was really helpful!

@somesteven wall running is good on the i think its called elavation map where there are 2 main sides connected by bridges if anyone comes up stairs u can wall run down the stairs and its hard to shoot u
i was hoping nobody would make a movement video, i cant gatekeep anymore 😔
Larditae will now release the Habaja, be ready
For me, wall wall-running helps me survive accidental falls from maps with enough height to kill me in one go of fall damage.
This video is very high quality i was just browsing pf vids when i found this 10/10
between b hopping if you have stamina off do a normal jump makes u harder to hit and doesnt effect speed helps a ton of maps with lots of snipers
Ii agree, x is better than z to dive because YOU DONT BREAK YOU THUMB EVERY TIME YOU DO IT
like "um erm actually you can use z" WHY WOULD I? IT HURTS ITS SO FAR AWAY FROM SPACE LIKE BRO
IM GETTING ARTHRITIS FROM Z
They're gonna revamp the movement now xD
im gonnna prebuy chainsaw and you cant stop me
You can use wallrun to avoid fall damage sometimes
the new slide mechanics let you chain a zingus slide after a bhop so you can get to 25 walkspeed
im pretty sure you can save urself of fall damage if u wallrun right before u land on the ground for example if u fell off of crane and wallrun on a building or wall
Ik it’s kinda a weird topic but maybe a video to highlight big problems in phantoms maybe a short idk might be a good vid
I discovered wallrun in desert storm, i was low HP and getting spammed by 3 guys with autos, if i jump i would die, so i just sticked to the wall and got no fall dmg
you can also do the ladder boosts sideways sometimes, i havent tested it a bunch but its also useful on some crane variations
faster and easier to set up that way
Also another use that wallrunning could have is to alternate ways to go down stairs because or you run down the stairs or jump down the stairs but not FLOAT down the stairs... until now

very good mid to close range
Kinda late but there is that little boost you can use by combining sliding and mantling in maps like metro you can move through the entire bottom part like a spider monkey if you time it right lol
ive accidently wallran and didnt take wall damange so much and didnt know how to replicate it
i will now become the flash in phantom forces
Movement He's so important that you can even win against MetaBuilds with crappy guns if you know how to move around
thank you that really helped me alot dude
you know EMP Sliding still exists, right?
stylis should make the wallrunning feel like lucio from overwatch
i came to phantom forces again after 2 years and this is the first thing i do after a match 💀
if you stay on the wall for a second or two if you jump sprint and dive in that order fast enough you can get some silly movement
You can use the wall slide for crossing small gaps fast
I think agreat tip for begginers in phantom forces is to play with 120 fov bc it looks like you run faster and its just looks so good
Great video btw❤❤
Very helpful!
You have that correct 😊.
Yo i play this game like 10 hours a day, and my left finger hand is really hurt. Is there any tips to fix that?
GOOGLE WILL HAVE HEALTH TIPS. I THINK I MAY HAVE CARPEL TUNNEL SYNDROME FROM CONSTANT COMPUTER USE. I USE A HAND BRACE DURING DAY WHEN PAIN IS BAD.
SURGERY? YOU CAN FOR WHAT I HAVE, BUT NO THANKS 😮😢.
I found I could super jump off of a wall...As I jump into the wall while turning my character and super jumping off...I found it very time specific...😁
You could probably do wall running on the Containers O' Fun map
Bhopping with heavy 1 hit melees was so op before they nerfed it
hey steven an interesting no recoil setup is the L22(rank 28 one) muzzle break and vertical grip
Bro I'ma be so real I thought I was the only movement player in forces
