A huge thank you to Wherepostrockdwells and Marjo Gre for this video that embellishes our album! 🙏
What is a-the Machine?
Fabulosoooo desde Cordoba Argentina 💎
Magnificent work, you guys.
Quality stuff, taking me on a journey
Literally cannot get enough of this album. The bar has been raised.
Absolutely.
Very rare when I listen to an album the whole way through for the first time I think “This might be one of the greatest albums I’ve ever heard”. Absolute mastercraft.
wow 🙏🖤
I started reading the comments on this album when I was only about 2 minutes in. I thought, " jeez, everbody's going a little OTT, aren't they?". Well they weren't. This really is a masterpiece. Thanks to both the band and WPRD.
Industry is a masterpiece. Got goosebumps and chills running down my spine.
Really impressed, not just considering it's something I happened to click on randomly, but compared to the many, many post-rock albums I've heard for the last decade or more.
Absolutely one of those bar-raising albums where I'll be saying about future releases, "well, it's not bad, but it's no The Machine Is Burning and Now Everyone Knows It Could Happen Again," though by the time I finished saying the title the people I was talking to would have gotten fed up and walked away.
Haha 😂 thank you ! Well our album it’s not bad but it’s not « Lift your skinny fist like an.......... *run away*
@@wearebruit2150 tbh i prefer this. LYSF isn't my cup of tea but this scratches every itch when it comes to emotional music
edit: after a few relistens of LYSF, i'm hard pressed to decide which i like more
This is a sponatiously discovered masterpiece.
Thank you so much 🙏🖤
One of my favourite albums ever, one of the most important albums ever, especially in these times. Merci!
the end and transition from tree to machine gave me 5 minute straight goosebumps. wth.
😂🖤⚡️
I am waiting. Because I like to wait. I'll be rewarded for this because I believe it's a good album.
Although it is boring to wait sometimes, the reward is very good.
Life is full of surprises. Do not lose hope.
because of this comment, i'm also going to wait for this one :)
@@AlexHoratio I hope your right. Im in rough waters right now, and hope feels like a distant memory for me, sometimes.
If ever an album needs a vinyl release it has to be this absolute masterpiece! It shall be worth the wait!
Wait and see, we are preparing something beautiful with elusive sound 😊
Still my album of the year, absolutely magnificent stuff
🙏🖤
Thank you for keep giving us, masterpieces like that, guys!! Spread the love of post-rock!!
Spread the love 🖤
holy fuck this album is amazing - no hyperbole. Such interesting mixes between different genres, melodies, rhythms... such effortless transitions between traditionally disparate moods - love it!
🖤🙏
Really a MASTERPIECE of postrock!
i ve litteraly been drowned by the magic fo their pieces of music...10/10 perfect
Wow, this is quite amazing! Thank you WherePostRockDwells for introducing me to yet another amazing band!
I love the forward and reverse filming. Beautiful with the music. Which direction are we really headed? We think we know. We’re told we know. But do we really?
we know that we don't know
The opening / first song is spectacular and the closing is literally goosebumps.
Huge compliments from your new Italian fan. Huge!
Gracie Mile ! 🙏🖤
A freaking masterpiece. Looking forward to the vinyl. 👁👁
Wow. I rly don't know hat to say except wow. No amount of compliments would do this justice. I was planning on going to bed early but I played this and now I am feeling like I swallowed a universe and am on another spectrum of existence. This album is so magnificent one can not simply listen to it once. So here we go again on this epic journey once more. Who needs sleep when you have music so beautiful it makes you question if vibrations of air molecules could induce a drug like euphoric trance.
What an epic feedback !! Thank you for that 🖤🖤
Very powerful, very emotional, very damn good!
I keep coming back to this album. Truly blew my mind, the first time I heard it- even more so when I saw the live version of the titular track. It is ranked amongst the best albums within the genre, in my opinion. And it makes me wonder what Bruit is going to do next. Topping this... well, that ought to be a challenge for our French friends.
We will put all the effort to produce the best music we can
A translation from the french commentary in the first song:
"I think that the economic sytem that we are currently devolopping is a system of permanent struggle. It is needed that I win over the other, it is needed that I become the first, it is needed that I become competitive. This is absurd, this results only into catastrophes, it is what we are verifying curently and I am asking myself why we are sticking to it.
To dare saying to a child "I hope that you will be the first" I think that it is a crime, first it is stupidity because the notion of prize list doesn't have any sens and above all it will lead the child to struggle, presumably in order to achieve himself, but first and formemost with the objective to win against the other.
This is what we need to completly stop, we can perceive very well that a society could be built without competition."
The text in french for those who wants to make a better translation, while french is my primary language I am no where near the level of a professional translator :)
This quote is from Albert Jacquard a french geneticist with an expertise in population genetics. For his political views he is a humanist, pro-degrowth and anti-nuclear.
thank you for making this translation 🖤
Anti nuclear? What a nerdwad.
@@jonajon91 Sadly yeah, in France we got about 70% of our energy thanks to the nuclear (and about 15% with
hydroelectric dams) which makes us one of the country that has one of the cleaner energy in Europe, produce so much that it's cheap and allows us to sell it to our neightbours. We know very well how to manage nuclear waste and got no risk of major natural disasters damaging our power plants (like in Fukushima).
And yet some tells us that we have to get rid of it in order to build large parks of wind turbines and solar panels who are unreliable, damages the biodiversity (of course with so much infrastructures) and it's even more expensive.
But somehow, it's a good idea...
without competition we would still be in caves. This musicians are very good but thy dont know much except music
@@vladoserfel I'm neither here nor there in therms of competition being dimed obsolete, but I think we have a pretty good ideia of how sticking to an ideia just because it provides results (and has been around for ages) doesn't mean it's optimal, much less mandatory and will probably weild bad results in a given context. Of course it's a big part of our frame of mind since we we're grunting, but we are no longer living in caves. Not questioning nor aiming for something better is very small minded and will probably lead to stagnation, History has provided us with no shortage of exemples of downfalls in that regard. Personal fulfilment, economical profit, enlightment, peace or whatever you wanna call your driving force is not entangled with being measured to the outcome of our peers. Not everything is a sport, or has a sport's mindset in which competition is mandotory (most sports anyway). The thriving of an artistic scene, for instance, is much more a result of cooperation, exchange of ideias and symbiose than competion.
Love this album guys! A real breath of fresh polluted air..
thanks for your kind words
Enjoyd this more than the new GYBE album which i really did not expect!
Industry is a shiny gem. Just my impression maybe, but the rhythmic section bring me back to Ulver's Perdition City vibes. Nice
I put on a random album on WPRD to relax and doze off like I often do, as it is my way of fighting sleep paralysis. Woke up half an hour later with a dreadful feeling in my stomach and a sense of impending doom. 10\10 would nap to the end of the world again.
Jokes aside, I was really impressed by the crescendo. It sends a hell of a message. Also I love the production on this, that bass will stay with me for the rest of the evening. Great work guys.
Haha 🤣🤘
This was an amazing experience. 😌
Couldn't thank you enough for this, Ronnie 🤘
Thank you for your comment 🖤
From the get go, absolutely massive album
🙏🙏🙏🙏
Don't know if you guys will see this, but will just say I've really been looking for a band like this that incorporates neo-classical elements into the general post-rock paradigm so masterfully without being Godspeed You! Black Emperor. I'm excited for whatever you guys may do next!
Thanks a lot mate 🖤
This is an incredible record. 🤘
Thank you so much 🙏🖤
Cool stuff. Reminds me a lot on the Australian band LAURA. It’s a very satisfying approach
This really impressed me, among the best musicianship I’ve heard, great mixing too
Thank you so much !
Wow, this might be one of my albums of the year, it's amazing!
Just came back to listen to this again this album never feels to hit me in the best of places
Unbelievable. The drums are incredible, string writing is gorgeous. Just perfect ❤
Thank you very much big up to Julien our new drummer on this record 🤘
@@wearebruit2150 would you ever consider playing in Scotland once covid is over? Neeeed to see this live 🔥

It's so worth taking the time to just listen to this album ... some awesome things happen.

Haven’t made it past the first song cause it’s so good I have to keep listening, the sixth minute makes me tear up and brings a lump to my throat every time I hear it. Fucking magnificent

Oh you are in for three more wonderful songs my friend
@@liamgallagher1476 listened to the full album recently and yeah this is in my top 10 albums of all time for sure. Holy shit. Also the live version of the machine is burning, Jesus Christ. Really hope it becomes available on streaming platforms so I can listen to it on a 24/7 loop
Whoa, new discovery for me, incredible debut album. Love it 🖤
This is absolutely amazing, I'm so glad I picked this to listen to this morning!!!
good morning 🖤
Amazing album! Hopefully it makes it onto spotify 🥲
It Will not, as a matter of coherence ! Happy that you like our album 🖤
@@wearebruit2150 I really enjoyed your album, but I just discovered you as a band. What do you mean you won't do it as a matter of coherence?
@@josetomasnoriega3776 We're quite selective about digital music because we don't want to get dirty by collaborating with modern slavers like Daniel Ek from Spotify. We've tried to find the right balance between developing the band and respecting our ethics. Most of the streaming platforms take advantage of their monopoly to exploit artists, their payments are insulting, If you pay a subscription of 9,99 € only 46 cents goes to the musicians...
So at the en It is obvious that the consumer experience is better on the big streaming platforms, just as the prices are lower and the choices more numerous in the food supermarkets. No wonder some food producers don't want to work with these giant retailers... so it’s the same with us.. Music has become an industry and we defend an ideal of artisanal creation, on a human scale with a direct link between the public and the artist. It is possible to do otherwise, and you are the proof! The word of mouth existed before the first algorithms and it will exist after as long as human beings make vibrate things for other human beings. Thanks for your support 🖤

Great album, but "The Machine Is Burning" song is a reaaaaally fuuuuckin masterpiece. Brilliant!
Sputnik brought me here...massive album!! Would love a vinyl release! Any plans for other streaming platforms? Cheers from Minnesota
Thanks for your kind words 🙏 we are currently working on a vinyl release with our label elusive sound. Concerning the streaming plateforme We are not on spotify or Apple Music because we think it would not be consistent with the message we deal with in our music. We still believe that word of mouth exists and you are the proof that it is possible to discover music outside of these streaming platforms.
Sputnik brings me to many sounds I can not discover elsewhere. Cheers
Insane debut, really really excited to see more from these guys!

thanks for your feedback 🖤
masterpiece.
🖤
This album presents a mysterious journey. Each step is a destination within an exploration that is a dominating broad expanse yet is made intricate with footholds that lead deeper inside itself. Scaling heights and wide expanses and finding yourself inside and then a turn, a passage leads you out. Find yourself climbing and traversing a wall of sound that winds itself into small spaces and then canyons. Wherever you end up, the answers will present themselves and the experience will have taken you somewhere.
Thank you for such a beautiful feedback 🙏🖤
Just another eyeopener from Wherepostrockdwells.
And, yeah I`ve got the test press release LP from allshallbewell the other day. I just love it and will go to The Netherlands to attend a live concert if covid allows me to. Hopefully I can get the LP signed then. Thank you for concidering me to the price. I love your channel and allmost all post rock. Greetings from denmark.💞🎵🎶

Mindblowing concert at Colossal Weekend 2022!
Lovely! Really enjoyed the album, particularly Industry, which I loved. A little more distortion than I'd like towards the end, but just personal preference.
Thanks for your feedback 🙏🖤
Really great stuff. 27:50 The beginning to the title track is giving me some strong Toby Driver vibes.
This is really great. I'll have this on repeat now :) I always look for new bands or ones I've missed whenever I go back to listening to different genres.
In my current post-rock phase now I've found this to go alongside Slint, GY!BE, Sigur Ros, Deathcrash...
thanks a lot and welcome onboard 🖤
damn son this is some next level music
🖤🙏
Damn. What a masterpiece!
🙏🖤
Can't believe I'm just discovering this. First, WherePostRockDwells is an awesome endeavor and much appreciated. Second, this has to be (no, it is) my favorite post-rock/experimental album ever. While I love the genre overall, so much seems to be formulaic. While I do still enjoy those songs, this album includes the most beautiful arrangements, combinations of sounds, subtle modulations, etc. that all fit together so well. Would love to know if they wrote out all the arrangements first or how they constructed these songs. Wow.
thanks a lot for thoose very touching words !
For us there is no difference beetwin arrangement and composition.
The music remains in any case sounds that you organize. It doesn't matter if these sounds are written for classical musicians or improvised by autodidacts with the amp at gain 11.
Both happen and there is no priority order.
@@wearebruit2150 Thanks so much for responding! Appreciate you taking the time to do that, and for your insights on writing.
Absolutely incredible work here. Great job all
Astonishing!!!
*album about liking trees and not killing the planet*
"je ne suis pas forcément d'accord avec les discours exprimés dans l'album"
very interesting

The best way I can describe this album to my non post/neoclassical listening friends is "a contemporary and modern masterpiece that sounds like something that Beethoven or Bach would have composed if they were alive today."
