Really love you guys and thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to have your album on the channel. Really means the world to me!
Come to L A
Pls
Thank you.
When can we have new album? Please!!!
I've always said that when Tillian left this band, this band transcended to a greater level of writing and creativity. This band went from being a cool band with a fantastic vocalist, to a band that is forever leaving it's mark on the instrumental rock genre. This is so flowy and creative, and nothing feels like it was just crammed into a track to fill space. The use of effects, transitions between riffs, and tasteful use of tones are a league above anything that they have done before. I am astonished that human beings have the time and patience to put something out like this when their craft all too often goes underappreciated. They make nothing finanically, scumbags steal their gear while they're on tour, and yet they still release things like this... It's incredible, and a true demonstration of what it means to genuinely love what you do.
ToM, if you see this, come to Louisville, KY if at all possible!
That's quite a review, sir. Well done.
Couldn't have said it any better. Masterpiece. Definitely in my current top3 of new releases in 2018.
A reference to endless dive i guess ? Having 25000$ of gears stolen recently.. Congrats to those artists
502 represent
You would probably also adore the band Paucity
КЛАСНИЙ АЛЬБОМ. МОЛОДЦI.ЩИРО ДЯКУЮ.
Post rock gold.
I've always said that tillian leaving was the best of both worlds. Tides of Man flew to the top of of the post rock genre and dance gavin dance is releasing their best albums with him as their singer. win-win.
yah seriosly FUCK tillian
Man, that album art, that intro ambient atmosphere in the beginning, and that eclipse, really just brings me back to a time long past. A wonderful find for sure. Thank you so much Tides Of Man and WherePostRockDwells!
Death Is No Dread Enemy is a beautiful masterpiece. Dark yet light. Sad but enlightening. My favorite track among many great ones!
New Futures at 9:38. My mind temporarily left my body.
i discovered these guys last night at a polyphia concert, icaught the end part of death is no dread enemy and it was amazing. bought their vinyl copy of this album.
I also saw these guys open for Polyphia. Incredible concert!
It has been way too long for a sound to flow into my eardrum, and with it bring chills, that engulf my toes, stirring to my legs, sinking my heart, causing my dry gritty eyes to run like a river, pouring out with tears into the corners of my mouth. With the seawater abyss , rouring waves of a beautiful creation. I fell in love with the sound.
This album is so good, atmospheric, ambient, emotional and a kicker too... Special love to 41:39 - "Outside Ourselves".
Absolutely beautiful. Thanks for this.
Just finding this now and will 100% be listening to this on repeat.
yeah...you can do me in the "repeat" mode :D
I will summarize in a single word: AMAZING.
Young and courageous changed my life when I heard it. To know they made another instrumental album just made my day! I feel silly to have only just realized this! haha. Godspeed to all of you!
Fantastically beautiful!!!!!!!💎💖💖💋
I can’t stop listening to New Futures . So good.
Every song is the question of life and every songs answer is life itself.
Yup
My favorite album of all time.
I'm really enjoying this atmosphere. Thanks for keeping it chill Tides of Man. I thought you guys were great before, and you've kept it going and with the times.
So i bought this on vinyl to support them after seeing them in San Diego with Tilian like 9 years ago, but havent listened to this fully until now. These guys are fucking geniuses and somehow have found a way to provoke all sort of emotions through some crazy collaborative pieces of sounds. So good
also i got a dope ToM shirt with my preorder
Great stuff. Very chill and strong.
Absolutely amazing! It's just a mixture of awesomeness!
I reeeeeally like the drum beats on "Everything Is Fine, Everyone Is Happy".. totally awesome! Great job to the whole band on a great album!
Beautiful and peaceful music... Thank you!
Given that the longest track comes in at just over 7 minutes and the average for the rest is probably somewhere around 4 and 1/2 minutes (I didn't calculate), I am deeply impressed at how this band forms an actual compositional piece that is individual from the other pieces and then puts 12 of them on one record. They come across as guys who LOVE to play music. The way the record is arranged is wonderful. First 4 tracks, good introductory stuff, then we hit "Old 88" and we feel the band beginning to fly. Then each consecutive song seems better and then we get to the perfection of the last 3 on closeout. My own favorite was "Outside Ourselves". I will love this record when I own it. This is good, good stuff. (It also helps to have a perfect mix and a drummer with monster chops.)
Holy smokes. Well worth the wait.
Incredible job, INCREDIBLE!
Perfect songs to read the subjective forms of the clouds and to follow with a tender eye the grooves of the stems of the trees; appreciate the complex writing of the nested branches, taste the colors of the decomposition of light into water droplets in a garden, and strongly feel the wet soil of ancestral forest to perceive the traces of animals from deep past 🤓
Such a gem.
Another fantastic album!!!!
Such an amazing piece of art!
This album is amazing! Thank you for sharing!
New Futures gets me every damn time.
And the oscar goes to: Death Is No Dread Enemy.

My music! SUPER!!!
I looked into the mirror while listening this album. it was a usual day and nothing went wrong, but I just cried without knowing why.
I've been there
I just finished listening through this album and I've got only one question:
Why am I only finding out about this band now?
A cosmic dream over the universe..
This is so juicy.
How has it been two years
What a yummy album
It hurts so much I can't help but laugh
What a fucking diamond!
I can't wait to see this band live with Polyphia's LBDT tour, still can't believe they're included. So excited
Just saw them today, they were amazing
The Sound design is so sick, listen closely, you can see the corners in the room.
9:07 has got to be inspired by Clapping Music by Steve Reich. Different rhythm but similar stereo effect
songs like Everything Is Fine, Everyone Is Happy and Keep Telling Yourself ?
👍👍👍👍👍
0:00, 16:30, 34:21 incríveis
Does anyone know what happened to this band? I want more.
Such a blessing having friends with amazing musical prowess, you guys better be kind to Jake Martin or I am gonna hunt down your melon lol!
ok...come on guys, now chop it up a bit, deep dark bass scream trantrums...you can do it, we believe in you...[the challenge]...is coming back in, to the light
Very tight band.. time is on point also look at Oh Hiroshima..simple awesome
Tillian left but all the talent stayed...... I really enjoy your music and hope to one day enjoy it with some smashing vocals.
what the hell is post rock??
From Google "What is PostRock" : Post-rock is a form of experimental rock characterized by a focus on exploring textures and timbre over traditional rock song structures, chords, or riffs. Post-rock artists are often instrumental, typically combining rock instrumentation with electronics.

These all have the same feel to them and I feel like it's time for me to search for something different. I'll come back but I like something fresh once in a while because even strawberries taste like fuck shit after too many of them, ya dig?
woah, tides is a post rock band now? lol. dream house was cool, but this is incredible. aren't they all like Scientologists or something?
Tilian grew up in a scientologist family, and some suspect his old lyrics may have reflected that, but that is in no way reflective on the entire band, especially now.
Young and courageous is better then this album. Some of the songs on this album sound like a rip of the last album just played a note differently which sounds worst then the original riff lol.
overrated
Underrated
Awesome
