ALLTRAILS Review Grotto Falls Trail Via Trillium Gap

My wife and I test the length and severity of the ALLTRAILS app. Does it hold true?? Or will it leave us in the dust??
Grotto Falls Trail Via Trillium Gap measures 2.6 miles and rated as moderate on the ALLTRAILS app. Will it be true?? Or is it WAY off??

How hard was the trail? I'm 68 and want to hike to the falls. I'm not a hiker, should I get in some practice before going?

It wasn't too bad. An easier moderate trail. Just take your time and rest when needed. There were a lot of stairs too.
