In 2008 Long Beach Poly flew all the way to play Miami Northwestern Teddy Bridgewater sophomore year. Public school. Traveling to Miami. They also won 29-7. Point is. California teams always willing to travel to play anyone.

Cali football is destroying everyone they face from other states yet people don’t wanna acknowledge that Cali football is the best right now.
As much as I wish that were true, it's only two Cali teams that are crushing everyone else. DLS got stomped by St Frances and most of the other Cali Top 10-20 don't play OOS as much.

When technical proficiency rules raw talent. CA has so many “camps” and prep teams, you can surely tell the difference in technique, execution, reviewing the previous plays (iPads), and lack of dirty play (late hits, attitude, etc). I grew up in FL and played football for a school that won multiple state championships…..sent many players to UF, FSU and the NFL…..but you need more than just raw talent. This is evident.

I coached a nationally ranked program for 28 years and coached the West Coast Nike combines. This was arguably the worst nationally rated team (Central) I've ever seen. They executed worse than a youth football team. The coaches never made adjustments. No running game and no passing game. California's team speed was on another level.
Seems to me like west coast teams play better as team. East coast teams play more like individuals.
The sad part is if Miami team block a little bit this is a Different game. Lol # 3 in the nation not playing like that

Bruh yall gotta do better with yall Public vs Private excuses and accept your L. Especially when you don't know the demographics or geography. Majority of Boscos kids are from Los Angeles County. 50% (maybe more) of Bosco Players would probably be at Long Beach Poly if they went Public, and 40% would be from like 6 or 7 others schools within 15- 25 mile radius of their campus. Thats why Poly stopped being around #1 team nationally around the same time Bosco ascended. Belflower is right next to Long Beach, Compton, South LA, and Orange County to the south east. They don't have to leave SoCal for talent. Knock it off with all this National recruiting talk and take this L. Mind you, I live in the South, yalls PUBLIC Schools recruit Nationally, especially in Georgia. Grayson stay getting kids from all over, hell yall had a Cali transfer QB last year. The school in Lowdes County which might be the winningest team in GA history has been all in the news for their former coach getting exposed for moving players to Valdosta paying living expenses for families of kid all over Georgia, especially Atlanta metro which is 3 hours from Valdosta and some kids from outta state. That same coach Rush Prost came to Valdosta after doing the same thing as a Highschool coach in Alabama Hoover high, and hes not alone. Dude on tape snitching saying University of Alabama and Georgia had been paying his players hundreds of thousands to sign and NCAA is aware of this and did nothing. All this is Googleable. STOP IT and take this #CaliBall L. Yall should be thanking us. Bama. Georgia, Clemson, Ole Miss, and recent years South Carolina all got Cali Ball QBs and Running Backs. Bosco recruits the whole city of Los Angeles. Miami Central is neighborhood. They got like 10 other schools rt by each other that are all like Central. LA doesn't have anything like that since all the good players started going to like 5 schools. That's why Compton and Gardena, Lynwood, Centennial are terrible now. All the kids that should be going to those schools end up at Bosco. It's an All Star team.
All I have to say is the number one high school recruit in the country has South Florida roots 561. Travis Hunter. Number one on both defense and offense.
Everyone the better team won! Everyone is commenting with their hearts not enough about what actually happened on the field. The Cali team had more depth and they were faster and they wanted it more. They played with more discipline and they executed the game plan. It's hard to fall behind 21 points to a well coached team and comeback. Good game nevertheless.

@@msagz3687 Gotta give credit to Duncanville for having the balls to schedule Mater Dei, IMG, St. John's College. They're not the best team in Texas but they sure play against the best. Unlike Austin Westlake or Southlake Carroll. Last year, North Shore was supposed to play De La Salle and Duncanville was supposed to play St. Frances Academy AND St. Thomas Aquinas. But covid messed that up.

Central really never was a balanced run/pass school if people really know they have good wr but never a solid quarterback honestly no excuses..the school mainly has every position except QB this the same school that produced devonte Freeman/ dalvin cook & cook's brother ..I believe Carol city chiefs / booker t & dr Philip's wouldve been a better game & they aren't ranked a few more schools in fl that aren't ranked also but are pretty damn good with championships but props to sjb..I just dont want people believing Florida has lost its touch just need to play balanced teams Florida's loaded seriously

Central’s defense was honestly pretty solid in my opinion that offenses though was struggling just about all game long
It is always been an up and down thing with the O-Line group, It's always been a decent line but never a solid line. I wish they had a true O-line coach to work with them even during the off-season

Miami Central is a public school that ranked Top Five in Florida and really the only Public School in Miami that have the balls to Travel to Private Elite High School Programs. Shoot they playing Bishop Gorman next who they play before another stack team, what Central doing is testing their abilities with funded schools/private schools
