You say that trading karke koi Amir nahi Banta.
I have a friend who works at a senior position in a high frequency trading company.
When I talk to him about investing in stock then he argues with me that his company has earned millions through stock trading year after year.
And his company does high frequency trading here in gurugram, near Delhi, India.
Please also explains difference between stock trading and high frequency trading so that I can answer him in favour of stock investing.

Hello Basant Sir, why equity investments are not considered for tax benefits in India considering the risks and wider benefits to the overall economy? Don't you think it will lead to larger market participation compared to more safer options like FDs, Gold, Real estate etc.? Is the scenario different in the US? How did US manage to attract 50% of its population to the equity market?
There was no LTCG tax since 2004 (not sure) till 2018.
After that only it is introduced back.
And govt is saying it will increase it more after elections.
They have already increased it for debt investments.
