It's possible, maybe even better in the endgame gear, but drawbacks are low manapool, long pot cooldown, strain on healers for most part of it. If raidgroup can carry with it and agrees, it's doable, but just like any other mana user, protadin can blowup melees (rogues and warriors which can go all out dps). Looking forward to see guilds trying it out actually :D
If there is a prot paladin in the raid, logically you put the paladin on MT duty. Any other tanks can still be effective as dps/support. I would even wager that a prot warrior who is not MT would do more dps than a prot paladin who is not MT.
Hey man really like your videos its been very useful! Can you please share where did you find that empty map at 3:28 ? i'm working on tactic's sheet for my guild and positioning is important so i need a website that provides those empty areas / boss rooms for me to fill
I really don't understand how a paladin tank would be bad here. Tank take damage, tank get heal, heal give mana. No bomb. Now that the mana mechanic has been correctly pointed out, what issue would a paladin tank be on this fight?
I respect the choice of raid leader who allows it. but for me, call it a personal preference :D If i got a choice of warr feral and protpala to tank this boss, i would choose rage tank :)
@@rowdyredfred Why am I spreading false information if i say that i would rather have Warr or Feral MT over prot paladin on any boss. Besides, content on TBCC atm is laughably easy, almost to the point where you dont even need a tank, thats why protadin is more viable.

Would a pally tank not be the best choice considering it can keep threat up while stunned and wont be effected by cripple?
