Thank you SO much for your videos! It's helped a lot with my hole-around-the-thumb problems I've been having. The special treat at the end, too, made something often made complicated so simple. Thanks again!
OMG! Thank you so much! It is the best video I have ever seem about this kind of thumb! And the idea that pockets can be made the same way!!!!!! Thank you soooo much! That's what all my little sons' sweaters need! Genial!
Thank you so much for all your tutorials, but especially for this one! Now I know how to make an afterthought thumb and an afterthought pocket! IBig, big hugs from your devoted fan!!!
Brilliant! I had been stumped on how to continue with some fingerless mitts for which I had heavily modified the pattern stitch...the thumbs were going to interfere with the pattern. I think I can use this afterthought thumb to solve the problem. Thanks so much for this (and the previous mitten tutorials) fabulous tutorial!
My mittens came out great! Well, not perfect as they were my sampler ;^). But it was a great learning experience. I also did them 2-at-a-time on 2 circulars (my first time at that, too) and it works fantastic. Thanks
A so called "beginner" mitten pattern I have had such a messy thumb gusset that I ended up throwing the mittens in a donation pile of clothing. (Slip 4 on a stitch holder, knit about an inch, make 4, knit rest of the fingerless mitten. Awful.) This method is genius. I'm giving it a go tonight.
Sure glad I found you. Never heard of the after thought thumb before. Thanks for sharing!

How do you finish off the tail when you make the thumb so that it looks invisible? Thanks
Thank you!!!
I discovered that I had two more stitches than I thought , even after counting twice... oops.
Is that going to be a problem?
Nice treat:D
