I stopped at Valley of Fire 2 years ago in February and winter really is the perfect time to go! It was such an unexpected stop and worth the detour. Those red rocks just come out of nowhere!
There is SO MUCH to see out west. I am looking at airfare prices now. Love the video guys!

Beautiful. I love hiking in the desert. Love seeing the cactus and agave plants. Especially the cactuses with the pink flowers or yellow flowers

Good video, some beautiful views of the mountains in NV
They are bighorn sheep with males being rams and females being ewes 🐏 The topography is so different from GSMNP, but awesome in it's own way 🏜 The rocks are amazing. I always love the wildlife. So glad you had a fun and wonderful birthday, and your family was able to share it with you 🐾🦊🐺🐾

Amazing how we can have such a diverse landscape...From the lush forests of the GS mts. to the wide open skies and quite sparse deserts out west...All hold there own unique beauty. Thank you Will for taking us along to explore Valley of Fire State Park. We didn't get to do that the last two times we went to Vegas. Maybe if our daughter and son in law continue to be stationed at the Air Force Base in the Vegas we might visit again and get to see that park. Happy belated birthday. What a nice way to enjoy your birthday. Now you know to go there early in the year when the weather is so much cooler.
One of our favorite places! Love the red Navajo sandstone mountains of Nevada,Arizona and Utah! If you go out again check out the areas around Page,Arizona! Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon is absolutely beautiful! Here and your Smokies are our favorite trips!!

Been there 3 or 4 times and it is spectacular. Glad to do it in the winter and avoid the rattlesnakes that are around in the summer. Visitors need to go see.

Great video, it was 108 degrees when I was in Nevada last year, I sure picked the wrong time of year.
That sand looked extra soft!
We were there in july found a spear tip at the petroglyphs I love it out there can't wait to go back this is Definately the best time of year to go

All videos are amazing but this was very good!
I’ve been to this place years ago. I think it was in November and it was a cold windy day. It was kind of a long trip from Vegas but I sure enjoyed the vista. I love rocks anyway. I also was at a place where Mouse’s Tank was. Very similar and amazing. Lots of petroglyphs there everywhere. Same kind of rocks and sand. Google Mouse’s Tank. You would enjoy it.
