Dude…. You are top tier UA-camr. Not even kidding you’re up there with creators like Rachel Makesy, studson studios, ace of clay, and dollightful in creative energy you’re putting out there and just being funny and likable. I hope your channel takes off because this is content gold.
That is so kind of you to say!! I love all three of those channels! I feel like I still have so much to learn with video editing, but I'm so glad you're liking them so far!! 💜💜💜
Miss Mouse is darling. Every iteration I was all 'well she looked okay before' but tour final version really is superior, very cute and the wide-eyed look and smaller head with bigger eyes do combine to make her cuter. And she seems more expressive in all your posed shots at the end. The whole process was fascinating. Thanks!
Thank you so much!! I'm so glad she looks more expressive! I feel like that was the biggest thing she was missing in the previous version, I just couldn't really feel who she was when I looked at her.
Luckily, every criminal feels too guilty to lie to her, if not off the bat, from her big, distressed, creature-esque eyes when she's getting severely confused and overwhelmed 🐭💧
Thank you so much!! I feel like the first version of the face sculpt was giving more *realistic mouse* which is also something I like and kind of gravitate to normally, but I fell in love with the huge eyes of her second head
Oh my god, there is so much to unpack here. Firstly, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for including the steps that you didn't like. It was at times painful to see you yeet some things, but at the same time, your dedication and hard work was incredible to see. It's so rare to see a creator share those steps, but it is so relatable and it teaches you so much more as a viewer to see those steps. You get twice, or in this case, thrice as much techniques, insight, and secondhand satisfaction at the end result. Secondly, I'm so glad that you used cosclay. As soon as you mentioned 'animatronics techniques', a dreadful memory of seeing the current state of older animatronics dolls flashed through my head. Rubber decays over time, so your mouse has just become much more enduring and sturdier than she previously was! Thirdly... Gosh, I'm always in awe at the work you put into everything. The drawings (loved that X-ray one so much!!!), the hat, that poor, mutilated hat XD I got so excited when you mentioned making one from scratch, but in the end, maybe it's best that you didn't? I don't think it would've survived otherwise... Lastly, I loved the editing of this video a lot :D it's slightly less fast-cut than the previous one, and much more relaxing to watch as a result. Also, you're so lovely! Well-wishes and speedy growth to your bangs! Four questions, if I may: are the eye beads made of glass? Did you use Mod Podge to get them shiny? Did you use white fur for her snout and would raw cotton work? And are the ears themselves movable? Would you consider doing them in cosclay, the next time? Thank you for this wonderful video, I so much have an urge to craft a miniature animal too, now. She is so lovely and cute and wonderful, I loved that face reveal so much ❤❤❤
Omg thank YOU!!! You are SO generous with your time, writing your comments, it is so kind of you and so great to hear your thoughts!! Agh, I’m so glad it was interesting to watch all the extra steps! I initially really wanted to skip over them, but in glad now that I kept it in! And yes!! I definitely worry about that with these little critters. I have some old stop motion puppets from 12 or so years ago with some pretty cracked and decayed latex hands. Luckily they’re removable and if I was desperate to keep using them, I could just make new hands, but it’s hard with Miss Mouse being that her legs and tail are coated in the stuff and fully attached. I extra worry because it seems like this project will probably be multi-year. I hope she can hold up through it! But also, I’ve kind of come to accept that all of these critters will need to go to the critter hospital for repairs at some point :) Im so glad you liked the drawings!! And I thought the same thing about the hat afterwards too! If I had woven it, I definitely would have had to just fully make another to fit the second head rather than just cut it up like I did! Time crunch win! I feel like I’m slowly starting to accept that viewers can handle one second of silence haha. Now that I’ve gotten over the hump of just making a video, it’s been fun to start really thinking about editing! Four answers: 1.they are plastic! I’ve started to wonder if that’s okay in the oven though, so I probably should look into glass ones for my next critters. 2. I used Sculpy glaze! I love the super shiny smooth end result it gives! I think diamond glaze might also work for it and be more cost effective 3. I used white flocking for her snout. As for raw cotton, huh, I’ve never thought about it! But I think the fibers in that might be too squiggly? (Though I haven’t worked with it so I don’t really know) If I wanted to do a natural fiber, I think I would try mohair, and maybe flat ironing it. 4. The ears are movable at the base, like they can move back and forth, but that’s about it. But cosclay is an interesting idea for sure!! I might be able to get some more rotation with them that way! I think I will actually have to try that on one of these next animals! Thanks for the idea! Thanks again for your thoughtful comment, and thanks for watching!! ❤️
@@GoblinGirlStudio I did not even put in a fraction of the time that you did for your video, but it seemed respectful to leave a longer comment at all those steps. And yes, leaving in the 'failures' teaches us, fellow crafters and viewers, about what to avoid and what can go wrong. It's so much more valuable to watch this way! :) It's very much appreciated! As for the plastic beads: most plastic melts around 70°C or 105°C, which is below the baking temperature of polymer clay (usually 135°C. It might be worth checking out what kind of plastic beads you are using? Also, glass can explode due to thermal shock, so I'm not sure it is a safer choice. At the moment I don't have much advice other than 'use plastic with a melting point of 200°C or higher' or 'try metal beads'? I think I have seen some crafters use felt and cotton to recreate commissioned pets, but I don't know much about felting, so I might be mistaken there? Thank you for the material's name! I wonder if Vallejo's Water stuff might work for this, too? XD You're very welcome, you videos are so fun (your sense of humor is a treasure!), I love leaving comments like this :D I'm sorry to read about the cracked hands, but I squeed at the stuffed animal hospital mention 🥺🥺🥺 I hope your sweet mouse stays out of it for a long, long time! How's Loretta or Poppy as a name? Or Heather?
@Roguechan so far I’ve been lucky and the beads haven’t melted when baked! So they must have a decently high melting point. But I do worry about any potential fumes that could come from it. Not that I’ve been smelling anything, but just want to play it safe. Maybe the best solution will be a toaster oven I can plug in outside! And omg, good to know about glass!! Definitely saved me from buying glass beads and having them explode in my oven!!! And you are probably right! There’s so many materials I haven’t tried, and techniques I haven’t heard of out there! And with most things, I think if there’s a will, there’s a way! Haha And I love Poppy! That’s such a cute name 😭
@@GoblinGirlStudio yeah, they generally advise not to regularly bake polymer clay in an oven you also bake food in... Getting an outside oven will probably make less of a fume risk. Tbh, even if you can't smell it, there might be harmful fumes. Natural gas is odorless, for example, so they put in an artificial smell so you notice it leaking... And yes, there's thousands of techniques out there :D I'm so excited to see what more you'll bring, your enthusiasm and skill is infectious 🥰
I can't decide which Dingleydale character is my fav so far, they're all so good---Ms. Mouse's design is darling!!! We stan a cottagecore mouse bimbo princess. You have graced us with yet another fun craft video---including your partner's toothbrush, tho it was brief and you made no mention. We'll keep it a secret but how have they not found out yet, especially with the gorgeous music he makes...I'm nervous. Can't wait to see what you make next!
This is amazing! The mouse is sooo cute and really looks like she’s just stepped off of a stop motion movie stage (now that I think about it the fact that you could tell her anything and she would believe it without question would make her an amazing method actor)
This speaks to me in so many levels... tiny little critters with tiny little cloths has been my nieche interest for so long, seeing this is like a gift from the heavens!!!!! The tiny apron and tiny hands an the fur and everything is just so whimsical and so well done. I think I found my new favorite youtube channel
She's darling and I absolutely love her. I don't know that I like either version of the face "more" or "less" because they have different vibes lol, but the one you landed on definitely feels more like the vibes you said you were going for. Pro-tip so far as the hands go? You don't have to put foam on the wire for latex to stick, it can just be twisted wire. You'd have to do a few dips for finger thickness (and maybe have a loop at every knuckle so it's thicker than there the rest) but it's easier than teeny-tiny sculpting.
Thank you so much!! And good tip!! I always get in my head that I need to do the foam step to get a more sculptural form, but it at this scale it didn’t really do me favors! I might just have to try foam-less next time!
@@GoblinGirlStudio If you still want more detail/sculptural elements, you can do your first layer of latex, and then add latex to anywhere you want dimension with a tiny brush, and then do another dip of latex so everything smooths out. It wouldn’t work with fine detail but hand shapes are organic lumps that you can make by taking advantage of surface tension lol
I adore Miss Mouse and I’m amazed by all the different techniques you used to create her. I can’t wait to see your other projects. Your creativity is inspiring and I love your humor.
I am deeply impressed. As a stubborn crafter who dives into projects as if there is no tomorrow (just realized that this is more of a promise than a saying, because I am old) I immediately related. You made my day ❤.
Honestly I loved them all. The hands were a bit awkward but you fixed them. She's perfect. She should be in a short movie with the frogs. What an adorable creation! Love love love it ❤❤❤❤
Oh my goodness, I haven’t had this much fun watching any video, of any kind, in, well, ever!! I absolutely love your sarcasm and your humor! And I’m an artistic person, turned engineer for the pay, with an incredibly dry sense of humor that strangers think is hilarious 😜 You darling mouse is incredible!!! She is Betty White’s character, Rose, from Golden Girls…. in adorable fuzzy critter form!! Excellent back, voice over, and still shots!!! Your perfectionism paid off!! And thank goodness for tiny hands for such delicate work!!! Thank you so much for sharing! I hope you have an entire series of books either published or in the works!!
Oh wow, thank you so much!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video so much!! Omg, Miss Mouse totally is like Rose!! haha And it may take quite a while, but I definitely do have a picture book I want to make with these little critters! I'll get there! Slowly but surely! 💜
I loooooove that you show the whole process, including mistakes, and frustrations. Makes me feel not so alone with how much it happens to me during a project sometimes 😅
She's so adorable! You do such a fantastic job with the clothes too! I really like you keeping in all the trial and error you go through. It's inspiring to see you persevere and end up with a version you're happy with
I thought version 1 of miss mouse was so precious already, and then the update happened and i loved her even more! sometimes, the tiniest of changes can make the biggest difference.
I like watching the process again ☺️ it is just as entertaining. I would even love to see more detail of the changes and your reviews of materials you use! ❤
my gosh i looooooove her. perfect tiny little zero brain cell baby!!! it was so amazing to see you go over and over different techniques and trying again and again... mad respect for your perseverance. and also for your drawing+animating+editing skills and being straight in middle school 😂😂😂 those little chapter markers are insanely pretty!! feels like it was worth all those versions of her armature, sculpt, and clothes to get her perfect. seeing you try so many techniques got my brain all buzzing with possibilities too: 1. Sculpey sells liquid clay, d'you think it might work to dip and bake several layers to get finer fingers? Or even just dipping and baking one layer would give a good base to sculpt solid clay onto. 2. The wire in her skirt hem was amazing. I've seen doll artists wet down doll clothes, then scrunch them up so they dry with more "gravity" pulling the cloth down + more realistically scaled wrinkles. There's also a technique where a piece of aluminum foil is sandwiched between two pieces of cloth so you can shape the whole fabric the way you want... if you ever need a cloak in the wind type of thing. 3. Would so love to see you try glass eyes and mohair !! Seriously admire the way her eyes shine in the final photos 🤩 Again just really loving the way you make these little creatures, from dyeing the ribbon to deciding not to use your hoard of pine needles. RELATABLE.
Thank you so much!! I'm so glad you like the chapter markers!! They take so long to make, I'm still debating whether I can keep them up, but I love adding some little drawn touches to the videos! 1.I wonder about that!! I think my only concern is about how stiff the liquid clay would be once it dries, since I want these fingers to stay flexible. Do you know, does it dry as stiff/brittle as regular sculpey? I had a bottle at one point, and by the time I got around to using it, it had totally dried up! One of these days I'll try it out! 2.I hadn't even thought about the glue/scrunch technique for this, but I think that would be a great idea to make her dress look a little more natural! I'm definitely going to try that next time!! I did a stop motion internship once, and I saw people use the foil between cloth technique, it's so good! I'm definitely going to use that for capes and looser stuff! 3. Mohair would be good!! Longer fibers like that would be way easier to work with than these tiny ones! Thanks for all these great thoughts, you are a treasure trove of minaitures knowledge!!!
@@GoblinGirlStudio Thanks for reading my long ramble! I've never actually tried baking liquid sculpey on its own so I don't know if it will stay flexible. I have used Sculpey bake n bend before but I think it would be similar to cosclay. Her hands turned out so amazingly articulate! Man, that stop motion internship must've been a dream. I wish there was a miniatures internship I could do 🤭🤭🤭 I felt so much anguish when you rejected one of her heads because it looked too big with the fur glued on, and thought that maybe mohair might be less thick. And I really really do love the animated illustrations! They look so cute and I love seeing the concept art/preview of what you're going to do in the chapter 😍😍😍
@mminmakes I didn’t know sculpted had a cosclay alternative! I will have to check that out!! And omg, it was awesome! But it was like 12 years ago so I feel like I’ve forgotten so much!! You did a miniature workshop in Denmark, I think you said in your video? That sounds so fun too!! Oh, I see! I think you could be right, mohair might be a bit lighter for that! I need to remember to sculpt smaller too. It’s so hard to keep thinks at the tiny scale when your hands just want to make them bigger!
Oh my, so so cute! 🥰 Your attention to detail, and redoing her pieces til they fit your idea,...chefs kiss! 😘👌👍 I don't even do this sort of thing, but your skills are fantastic, and you are so fun to watch! Just magic.🪄😊💖 I actually learned a lot just watching, so thanks for sharing, on a lot of levels. Had to subscribe.
she turned out so cute!!! your fixes really paid off, the daintier hands in the poses and the big doe eyes really helped to make her pop out of a storybook. stubborn projects suck, but im happy you persevered- i really enjoyed the ups and downs shown as its so much more realistic than churning out perfect results every time, which is also so much more stressful and time consuming to keep up the appearance of if half of your recording becomes unusable as a result. im glad i stumbled upon your channel!!! immediate subscribe :]
Aww thank you so much!! I'm so glad you think so!! And Yeah, editing wise, I think it would have been kind of impossible not to show--the footage would have felt so out of order and confusing to the viewer it wouldn't have made any sense. So I'm so glad it was interesting to watch those ups and downs!!
Hi :). I found your account just this morning and am binging it now. As a fellow crafter I have so much respect for you to take the step and film, edit and post your works. I often think about doing it, but then I’m too anxious, don’t really know how to do it, etc. your little character have so much personality, the mole looks like he’s constantly Feeling watched or followed, and the mouse looks like the cutest little village girl who’s just happy with life. These really look like straight out of those old timey animal picture books.
Aww thank you so much!! I'm so glad you liked the videos, and I totally feel you about being too anxious and not knowing how to do it! I feel the same!!! I hadn't touched video editing software in 10 years when I made that first mole video, and I had no idea how to start--like do people write a script for their video, then do the craft? Or the reverse? How do you do cinematography for craft videos? Lighting? All that stuff has been such a huge question mark. But I've been trying to treat it like I treat the crafts--I don't know what I'm doing, but I'll figure it out along the way and hope I can do better next time! haha. All that to say, you can do it!!!
Algorithm for the win! What a freaking adorable project! And hi, I’m glad to know you exist. Will be checking out your other videos immediately haha. Your editing, humor, concept, visuals, process, all of it was just.. chefs kiss
Okay listen there is just so much I have to say, starting with: THE LITTLE TITLE CARDS. every single time I have to pause and read them and giggle. they are so good. Your goofy dark humor is destroying me in the best way. (Also I genuinely thought I was straight in middle school, teenage me would've been shocked to learn I'd be a married lesbian with two cats in 20 years, don't come at me like that) Those lil pink ears! Her feeties! How is she so cute?
Awww yay! I'm so glad you like the title cards! They take so much work to do, so I'm so glad to hear that they are enjoyed! Hahaha I'm so glad you got a laugh out of that one! Thank you!!! 💜💜💜
Aww thank you so much!! I'm so glad you enjoyed!! I'm honestly just so excited that 5K people have liked my little critters enough to subscribe, that is amazing!! :D
After watching your bunker video I had to see how you made those adorable little figurines. I have been working with Polymer Clay for over a decade, but just recently started using CosClay, and I love it.
Thank you so much!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video and my little mouse! And that's a great idea!! I could totally use the sculpt for like her weirdo cousin from out of town or something!! haha
She’s so cute! Since you’re creating a whole universe with these critters, maybe you could salvage the first full attempt of her head to be like her mom or aunt or something lol I stumbled upon your mole video last night and I can’t stop watching! This is so cool!
A few other people have been recommending that too, and it's such a good idea!! I have so many characters to make, so I definitely will have to make use of it to save me some time down the road!!
@@starburst740 thank you so much!! It can definitely be hard when starting out to accumulate the tools needed. Luckily most of the tools are fairly small and affordable, but it’s still not easy to get everything in one fell swoop if you don’t already have some of it
Hahaha, that was my partner's suggestion! Originally I was going to have some "Hello Darkness my old friend" There, but the Jojo reference was way funnier!
Aww that's so sweet! I'm just starting out, but already the channel is growing and it's so exciting getting to share my little critters with you all! 💜
OK but let's say you created a super awesome diorama to go with Miss Mouse and you DID decide to try your hand at a very brief stop motion animation? What could ever go wrong? How could it be hard when you already have the puppet theoretically built correctly and a set-up for filming and making YT vids? The world may never know... unless you attempt it just to see what would happen! To be fair, I'd never be that brave even though I love animation; I'd be afraid of breaking the doll somehow if I ever got that far. Maybe one day I'll actually have the bravery to make a super cool custom furry doll of my own (because little animal characters count as furries dang it. Everything cool and animal is furry IMHO, even if you don't identify as one, because it's just a category lol.) I love Miss Mouse's design, I definitely get the struggles with translating her face to 3D (it helps you had experience with an IRL pet rat before) and I also feel you on not actually using a reference lol I'm often lazy like that but I have less experience so I really should do it more often (especially since I've saved a ton of refs.) I need to finalize this squirrel OC whom I want to be cartoony but more closely reference actual squirrels and other rodents. The short-hand a lot of artists use is distinct but doesn't have the right head/snout shape which is definitely harder to get right without making it too elongated and more dog-like or ahem ish haha. And I love all of the lore you gave yer mousie ofc! I love your sense of humor and I'm so glad this doll eventually started working out for the most part. Thanks for making this video! (If I missed anything, it's because I haven't finished the vid yet lol.) Edit: Thanks for being transparent btw and showing a lot of the redo events. I still liked her old face but the new one is super cute and everything else was a definite improvement. I think perfectionism is okay when you use it to decide more effort is worth having a result that you actually enjoy even if that means living through more tedium lol. You learned a lot and I'd be excited to see you tackle another cute critter who lives in this fictional town! The "screenshots" at the end (snippets??) were wonderful and IMHO they'll look even better once you have more dolls to sneak into them, having cute adventures. ☺
Thank you so much for this thoughtful reply!! It really means a lot that you took the time!! 💜💜💜 I definitely want to do some animating with her some day, I think the things that have stopped me so far are that you have to have a really consistent lighting situation for stop motion (typically a totally dark room so that the only light is the ones pointed at the set that can be fully controlled), and you need a lot of stability so nothing moves around, and It's hard for me to get those conditions in my apartment currently. But I think I need to just be okay with things not being perfect and try anyway! I do also worry about breaking the doll, though. The wire armature is great for stop motion because it will hold the pose you put it in really well while still being easy to move, but it's also fragile and breaks down the more you move it. And I think that Miss Mouse's arms got kind of fragile with the re-doing, so I worry about breaking her. She will eventually, and I'll fix her and it will be fine, but I want to put it off just a little bit longer! haha I don't mind people considering these dolls furries! I don't identify as a furry, but game recognize game--there is a ton of amazing craftsmanship in the furry community and I really respect it! And furries are kind of notorious for being great supporters of artists. :) Good luck with your squirrel OC! It can be so hard to caricature a critter and keep them looking specific! I know I really struggled with that with this mouse! Thanks again! So glad you enjoyed!!
@@GoblinGirlStudio You're welcome! Thanks for the good luck too! OC design is fun but can be harder than it looks. And yeah, that's understandable that you want to put off having to recreate Miss Mouse's armature again. The wires will only last so long and most Stop Motion Puppets probably get slowly demolished in the process of making a movie. Plus I didn't consider that redoing her arms probably weakened them too. (I have a few really cute commercially-made 1/12th anime bendy dolls that I try not to move much since I don't know how to repair them if they break... although your process for the hands would probably work! But I've never actually made an armature before or really used clay much edit: let alone the special stuff you had the second time around.) I wonder if using nuts to create joints in the arms would work? I guess it depends on how well you think the nuts at her wrists handle in that respect even though that was really for ease of removal. Regardless I hope Miss Mouse's arms survive for several months at least! How else will she carry her bindle the next time someone lies to her?? 😆
Because of course you had rats! They're the best of pets and I miss my boys and girls every day. At one stage, my housemate and I had 16! Free-roam time was so much fun, though. Miss Mouse is utterly adorable. I love her lore... fancy saying the seasons are down to the axial tilt of the earth... next, she'll be telling us the world is actually an oblate spheroid and not a pancake riding on the back of four elephants on top of a tortoise...! We all know it's elephants and tortoises all the way down. P.S. Your sense of humour thoroughly tickles me. Thank you for making me laugh. :)
They are so sweet!!! The friendliest little guys 💜 Wow, 16!!!! Oh my gosh free roam sounds fun and also WILD Thats so many little guys to keep track of!! And thank you so much!!! haha, right?? Next thing you know, she'll be suggesting silly things like washing your hands before performing surgery!! So glad I could give you a laugh today :)

1.they are plastic! I’ve started to wonder if that’s okay in the oven though, so I probably should look into glass ones for my next critters.
2. I used Sculpy glaze! I love the super shiny smooth end result it gives! I think diamond glaze might also work for it and be more cost effective
XD
You're very welcome, you videos are so fun (your sense of humor is a treasure!), I love leaving comments like this :D I'm sorry to read about the cracked hands, but I squeed at the stuffed animal hospital mention 🥺🥺🥺 I hope your sweet mouse stays out of it for a long, long time!
Haha
And I love Poppy!
"Totally straight like you claimed to be in middle school..." .... I feel attacked. LOL
1. This is SO freakin Cuuute!!
2. 😂😂 Your jokes are so great, i was giggling nonstop.
3. I LOVED the story telling! Like a dark kids book.
Thank you so much!!!! It's my dream to turn these photos into a picture book some day!
Thank you so much!! Yeah, don’t tell him! It’s my best sculpting tool!!
This is amazing! The mouse is sooo cute and really looks like she’s just stepped off of a stop motion movie stage (now that I think about it the fact that you could tell her anything and she would believe it without question would make her an amazing method actor)
Thank you so much!! And I think she would be! haha, she'd probably be told what part she's playing and get convinced it's her real life!
Aww thank you so much, I’m so glad you liked it!! I’m so excited to share all the other little critters I have cooking with you! :D
@@raven5279 ohhh that’s brilliant!! I’ll definitely try that for my next tiny hands!! Thanks for the tips!!
oh my gosh, they're all so cute... im loving thjs project so much 😭❤️

I am deeply impressed. As a stubborn crafter who dives into projects as if there is no tomorrow (just realized that this is more of a promise than a saying, because I am old) I immediately related.

Omg totally!! I feel every project I do, at least 60% of it is spent fixing something I didn't do right the first time!! Definitely not alone!
She's so adorable! You do such a fantastic job with the clothes too! I really like you keeping in all the trial and error you go through. It's inspiring to see you persevere and end up with a version you're happy with

❤I really enjoyed this video.
Aww yay! Thank you so much!!
my gosh i looooooove her. perfect tiny little zero brain cell baby!!! it was so amazing to see you go over and over different techniques and trying again and again... mad respect for your perseverance. and also for your drawing+animating+editing skills and being straight in middle school 😂😂😂 those little chapter markers are insanely pretty!! feels like it was worth all those versions of her armature, sculpt, and clothes to get her perfect. seeing you try so many techniques got my brain all buzzing with possibilities too:
Seriously admire the way her eyes shine in the final photos 🤩
Again just really loving the way you make these little creatures, from dyeing the ribbon to deciding not to use your hoard of pine needles.
Head exploding cute!
Aww thank you so much!!

she turned out so cute!!! your fixes really paid off, the daintier hands in the poses and the big doe eyes really helped to make her pop out of a storybook. stubborn projects suck, but im happy you persevered- i really enjoyed the ups and downs shown as its so much more realistic than churning out perfect results every time, which is also so much more stressful and time consuming to keep up the appearance of if half of your recording becomes unusable as a result. im glad i stumbled upon your channel!!! immediate subscribe :]
Aww thank you so much!! I'm so glad you think so!!

I definitely want to do some animating with her some day, I think the things that have stopped me so far are that you have to have a really consistent lighting situation for stop motion (typically a totally dark room so that the only light is the ones pointed at the set that can be fully controlled), and you need a lot of stability so nothing moves around, and It's hard for me to get those conditions in my apartment currently. She will eventually, and I'll fix her and it will be fine, but I want to put it off just a little bit longer! haha
I don't mind people considering these dolls furries!
But I've never actually made an armature before or really used clay much edit: let alone the special stuff you had the second time around.)
I wonder if using nuts to create joints in the arms would work? I guess it depends on how well you think the nuts at her wrists handle in that respect even though that was really for ease of removal. Regardless I hope Miss Mouse's arms survive for several months at least! How else will she carry her bindle the next time someone lies to her?? 😆
She turned out cute, kinda gave me secret of nimh vibes
Thank you so much! I love Secret of Nihm!
Here for the Dinglydale lore
lol, good cause there’s a lot more cooking!
