Andy if you sort the wiring out if that the issue the replacement grips the element will fail on the grips again two sets of failed on my multi, I brought a set of Oxford grips in a kit for $138 fitted to grips, then grafted them into the existing wires. The oxfords are much more robust and better made than the Ducati ones that was more than eight years ago. I done mine and now the bike has 98,000 km on it and they work perfectly. Unfortunately I can't use them on the high setting because it burns my hands, that's how good they are .
Thanks for the video. I have a 1260 multi. The only electronic issue I've had is the fuel gauge, gives random info, apart from that all electronics have been fine. Love the heated grips.
Andy great to see you scooting around those lovely roads down there, makes many a mainlander jealous myself included. Hoping to get down there next year sometime for my bendy road fix!!!
Oh and in Queensland I got a $135 charge for an unpaid toll carting 35 Tonnes of 'Gravel' on my 1978 GS1000.... anyway 3 months later and a chat with Channel 7 and the opposition transport minister...I didn't have to pay the toll..... A NSW plate on the rear of a dump truck, but they sent it to me anyway...
Hey Andy, great to see you again 🤙 Yeah, great idea checking the dash connector & giving it a good spray. Product & verbal😉 Great seeing Tassie again!🇦🇺💪 Lol Grand final is insane!
@@ANDY5 I would love to have caught up with you but I’d done my license back then & still have. Because of said shitful cameras😉 Glad you enjoyed your travels 👌
Hope your electrical problem is only a bad connection, Knowing Italian electrics it may be an expensive dash replacement., Regarding speed cameras here in the UK we now have cameras that monitor your sound as well ! always something extra to contend with. I wish I was back in the 60's no speed limits and you could run open megaphones. Now at 79 I ride a very quiet 2004 MV Brutale F4.
Great to see you again mate and enjoyed the commentary apart from the footie chat( hate football) Your mate Dutchy is a real hoon, loves winding that thing up in 1st and 2nd. When he sells it it will be like.. one careful Dutch lady owner lmao.
@@ANDY5 do ya know if you were going the other way, is it detecting both lanes and capturing the rear plates of passing vehicles as well as front plate of oncoming vehicles ?

Hey Andy
Great to see you back! Was really surprised to see a Yamaha 650 Turbo at 42:17. My first street bike was a 650 Turbo.
Yes that’s one of Nigel’s bikes. It still pulls hard, lovely machine.
