I agree - having the little porch makes it a home! ❤️ i was in Vegas recently and walked thru an open unit - 5’10” and I felt completely comfortable 🥰 - I can’t wait to own one! 🤗🌌my forever home 🏡
Sir, you obviously have a hit on your hands( on a global level)! Two suggestions:1. Casita with solar, 2 a retractable rear screen for the rear door would be nice.
Absolutely beautiful design, and flexibility…however, how did we go from $25,000 3 years ago with the basic model to $60,000+ now? I thought with you ramping up The production capabilities, it would offset some materials and labor costs somewhat as time went on. But more than Double the original price seems excessive…what happened?
I'm 55. I'd love to downsize from my current home as I age. The casita is exactly where I'd like to live . I'd love to have solar panels on the roof, all electric utilities and appliances. And pay $1200 per month for a 30 year mortgage, including: taxes, insurance, the cost of permits, utility hook ups, transportation, the land, etc... With solar panels, I'd expect to pay about $200 per month for electric everything. So my monthly housing cost would be about $1500 ( including the water bill). That would leave me with plenty left over for internet, car, gas, food, health care, entertainment, travel, etc. And close to zero worries and/ or expenses associated with the upkeep costs of owning a home ( I live in a 4 bedroom, 100 year old house now-- something always breaks, lol ). I hope in a few years, when my circumstances allow, the Casita will be more readily available. And that I will be able to buy one. And live there until I die. 😊 thank you.
They are making slight changes to the design which I think it’s better if you notice the shelf over the was dryer thus changing the bathroom door location

I love the full concept (factory building of a house that could potentially be shipped anywhere in the world). Let's hope that one day it will be possible to ship to Mauritius, and to add a Japanese style skin to it (both inside / outside).
The Japanese would love this since they have so little living space on their islands. Although not sure how they would hold up against tsunamis and hurricanes
The current Casita model includes the following: Full Size Kitchen Large Refrigerator, Double Sink, Oven, Stove, Microwave, Kitchen Cabinetry Bathroom Deep shower, Vessel Sink, Large Counter, Backlit Mirror, Sliding Door, Toilet Living Space 19ft x 19ft, 9’6” Ceilings, 8’ Huge Door & Windows, Wide Plank Composite Flooring, Combination Washer & Dryer, Highly Effective HVAC System, 100- Amp Electrical Box. @@BlackDragonQueen Realize something though... @@WeThePeople001 A new MH 3x bedroom is approx 128-140K , way cheaper if you can get them on clearance. Boxabl for less than 400sq ft at 60K ( price subject to increased and not available in all 48 or 50 states ) So you are talking way over 150 USD per sq/ft for a box vs. 105-120 for a manufactured home. Make it a screened porch so the bugs don’t eat you up and your animals can go outside safely.
