I don't find this respectful at all. Respectful would be to ask people for permission FIRST before giving their "private" avatars to other people. Not to mention that it is hard to believe that those avatar IDs have been collected in a legal and compliant way. Expecting all people to run around in VRChat and messaging all avatar search worlds just to be excluded from them is nuts.
@tx-e5878 you do realize that all the avis that appear have to be set to *public* right? The only scenario where a "private" avi is in the world is if it was made by the uploader for a friend or if it's a group avi. In fact, the search world can be beneficial by showing if the avi came from an avatar world that wouldn't have been found normally.
Or you can just make your own avatar world that have whatever rules you want to have. The worst they could have done is be one of those oh it's a public Avatar I can do what I want people @@AirsoftKeksTV

If you want to share an avatar with a friend, e.g. because you work on it for them, you need to make it public while you disable cloning, so nobody else except your friend can use it. You do this to control who can use that avatar. If you never put the avatar ID on a world pedestal, it would stay "private" (similar to an unlisted video on UA-cam where you need the URL to access it). Those avatar search worlds are exposing those unlisted avatars to everyone, the system was working fine before them. Furthermore, an avatar author should be free to only have their work being obtainable through their own avatar world if they want to. Similar to how everyone can watch your youtube video for free, but on your own channel, reuploading the same content elsewhere is not ok. Those avatar search worlds are essentially bypassing that system and take control away from the avatar owners to have their own content shared in a way that they intended to.

Ive scowered VR chat and found some pretty awesome worlds, this was one of my first favorited worlds. Its been around for a while though hasn't it? I seem to remember going there a long time ago to search for Avis. Like over a year ago.
I don’t know any avatar creators and my home world is this search world because all I do is look for the avatar I want but I can never find the avatar with the qualities I want😢

Only downfall is quest when in worlds with players have a 40% chance of crashing. Alone they are fine

Been here so many times. However a word of warning, sometimes this world will crash you depending on what avatar you change into when trying stuff on.
You can also search up private avatars and yes, it is the best search world
