Psychotherapy is not an option for medication, it goes hand in hand with medication. Medicine will treat the disorder and psychotherapy prevents relapse. So every patient needs medicine as well as psychotherapy.

M.Phil in clinical psychology gives proper training on various types of psychotherapies suitable for the various disorders.
And no clinical psychologists do not work under psychiatrists. They work as a team together of mental health professionals. :)

Psychology is a growing field and has scope in future that's for sure. Our society is becoming aware of more western ideas.
The thing is, this field has grind.
To reach a certain number you will have to think outside the box or you will just be like others.
With an MBA it's different because you reach stability quickly and it's easy to analyse how much you can grow, it's more safe not that much risk taking.
It depends on you
Your abilities and weaknesses
Your family condition
What your family thinks of it
When you get great at something scope doesn't matter much.
