- 16 female athlete plaintiffs are suing the NCAA for their discriminatory policies that allow male athletes to compete on women's teams. Several of the swimmers were joined by their attorney, Bill Bock, JD to give updates on their legal battle for fair competition in women's sports and privacy in locker room facilities. The plaintiffs and legal team were joined by the co-founders of ICONS the Independent Council on Women's Sports who are funding the suit. Kara Dansky, feminist author and President of Women's Declaration International, USA lends her support.

I’ve followed her from before Twitter closed her first account. She is fearless, astute, and well-spoken. March of 2022 called for a leader, and she has inexorably risen. She has proven her motto repeatedly: courage begets courage.

ALL WOMEN in all sports should be a part of this organization and MAKE the world hear them and protect them.
The world ? We have tried to protect girls and women AND boys and men from the big infinite gender movement. Yet we get slapped in the face when it’s pointed out that there are WOMEN and MEN, GIRLS and BOYS and nothing else. Regardless of who wants to love and sleep with who, who wants to “marry” who.

The NCAA could end all this in five seconds. Get rid of labels. Change mens and womens sports to xy and xx sports. Don't ask the vague question, "Are you a man or woman?" Simply ask, "Do you have xy or xx chromosomes?" Bam! Case closed.
Unfortunately that won't work. Gender Identity ideology started by changing the meaning of words. So "woman" doesn't mean adult human female, "transwoman" becomes "transfemale" becomes...whatever is fashionable next. Very Orwellian. We need to defend the meaning of the words and resist top-down re-definintion of their meaning.

I am a guy, and I have seen women in men's bathrooms and a few times in the men's locker rooms. The guys don't like, just as the women don't like having a male in their locker room.

What’s being pushed aside is morality and just the ability to reason through issues before acting for the sake of being “woke” and jumping on the bandwagon. In full support, but just one question and possibly a modest suggestion. I realize the lawsuit is against an institution. but like the CDC, DOD, FDA, WHO, WEF, etc ... institutions and laws are abstract constructs behind which self-entitled sociopaths hide and act in their own self interest. Is there any way in which specific people behind these obscene policies be named? Putting a name and face on corruption goes a long way towards effectively combating it.
They use the excuse of Biden’s executive order, that applies to the executive branch. They extended it to the Dept. of Education.

The organizational culprits are the NCAA and the IOC, and their consultants. In the meantime, FINA and World Athletics have redeemed themselves.
The current best explanation is from Jennifer Bilek (bjportraits). She links the money and influence of Rothblatt, Pritzker, Stryker, and Gill to the Trojan horse of ideological nonsense currently assaulting women’s rights and protections.
I highly recommend recent books by Kara Dansky, Helen Joyce, Sharron Davies, and Linda Blade.

Like Kara Dansky, I am a left wing feminist Democrat who agrees with Riley Gaines and other female athletes who against men competing against females or having access to private women only spaces. I cannot believe the amount of family and friends who argue with me that allowing men who have a transgender condition into our sports and spaces is not discriminatory against women. I write to Democratic politicians regularly to voice my dissent regarding the DNC's pathetic position on this subject.

It's their college or university that must change who represents them. Back a half century ago, college football changed and kicked out the NCAA, so it can happen, but money, money, money speaks louder than justice. And today the NCAA is back controlling collegiate sports including football. Again, it's about money, power, and control.
The NCAA board making these horrific decisions should be disbanded and made irrelevant immediately!! The ADs of the schools allowing men to compete in women sports should be fired immediately, as well as school board members who advocate for this practice. If a group can’t define what a woman is, then there is obviously no differences and we should just have everyone compete in one big group. There were several reasons for the different restrooms, locker rooms, and sports.
Both women and men want gender-separated restrooms and locker rooms.......at least the vast majority do.

I completely sympathize with a person struggling with gender dysphoria, and hope they're able to find peace via whichever treatment they need, however we do not compete in sport on the basis of gender - we compete on the basis of sex. The reason sex was recognized as an important differentiator in sport in the first place is because it is a REAL indicator of ability and outcome. Sports have never been differentiated by gender. This conflation is the entire problem.

As a woman, born in the 60's and an athlete from the time I was 3....throwing a baseball in the yard with my dad, and a previous physical education teacher, I have been through the fight for equal treatment in sports. Fighting for uniforms, equipment and gym time. This is not the time to go backwards!!! Keep fighting! It is worth it. Women's sports are for women! Biological women! One issue that these women didn't expand on was that the NCAA decisions and policies didn't only impact their athletic life. The implementation of these policies caused mental and emotional distress that directly affected their ACADEMIC performance as well, making it harder than it needed to be and already was as a student athlete to obtain their education/degrees. By it's very nature, the NCAA should be ensuring that ACADEMIC success is protected for the STUDENTS making money for the colleges and the NCAA.
Well done ladies. If women refuse to participate, there will be no records for men the steal. Do not comply, there are more of YOU, than there are of them, they, their.
