When I was in fifth grade, a girl in class started to talk to us at recess and convinced all of us to participate in a seance/ chant. All of us did it to fit in and seem “cool”. Thank God my teacher, a strong Christian influence saw what happened and put a stop to it. My aunt picked me up after school and I told her what happened. My aunt is agnostic ( I was raised Catholic-am still), but what she said to me, really hit home. “Don’t open a door you can’t close. You never know who is going to go through that door.” Never again!

This reminds me of a story of my Dad, when he was young, he and his mother were very deep into new age. One day in his youth, he went to see a witch doctor to get his fortune told. The witch doctor did his thing and told my dad that he would die when he was 22. Now many years passed, my Dad is now 22, a wayward biker, and he gets invited to a bike rally in South Africa by a group called CMA (Christian Motorcyclist Association), he gets there by some miracle, which is another story for another day, thinking this was going to be a big bike rally & party. He goes to the night sermon because everyone else was going. To make a Very long story short, that night he died to his old self and was born again, a Christian.

I spent 27 years as a famous new age author, teacher, crystal and vibrational healer, and psychic. in 2004 I was teaching in Edinburgh, Scotland, and was attacked by a demon. A few months ago, I had a bad breakup with someone and after watching and even buying a bunch of tarot readings, it all made me believe that I'm in the "twin flame journey". After months of false hopes and waiting and being depressed, I asked God last night to get me out of this mess. Just today, all these videos debunking new age things start showing on my YT account. I feel it's God's way of telling me that I have been believing the wrong things and that Jesus is the only way.
Praise God! I was also in the same thinking, crazy how these demons are disguising themselves letting us think that these lies are completely normal and the truth. This twin flame concept is completely from evil. It making you obsessed on somebody and also telling you lies to resort on a different spirituality rather than Christianism. It promoted Zen Spiritualism and some Buddhism sort that really drifting us apart from salvation, from the Truth, which is Jesus Christ. I’m hoping that these devil practices disguising as good will be exposed because it’s uncontrollably growing and we need to be saved.

My brother and I were working together in a construction company, we befriended a couple of “cute” girls that we met while working on a site. It turned out that these girls were Wiccan, generationally, the reason that we found out about it was that they tried casting a “Tracking spell” on us the one weekend that we told them we were visiting our parents. But the spell failed and they were confused as to why it failed, until we told them that we were baptized Christians, their response was “Oh! That explains it!” And we never heard from them again… it goes to show that the power of the cross stands against the enemy, even when we don’t realize it.

My stepdad played with a ouija board when he was in highschool with some of his friends. He was thrown across the room by a demon and he hit his head really hard. He was diagnosed with schizophrenia afterwards because he heard voices. He has never been able to have a regular job because of all the medications he takes to stop the voices. He has warned me and my siblings not to touch anything occult. This stuff is real and dangerous.
So sorry to hear. :( I hope he is able to discover that there is freedom in turning to Jesus Christ, that he can pray for deliverance and discover his identity as a child of God if he surrenders control of his life to Jesus!❤
Yes, has he seen a priest for deliverance? The exorcist files podcast has several stories about those boards. I pray that if the voices are demonically induced, he can find true freedom through Jesus. I was tormented by demons for years, they ruined my sleep…which ruined my waking life, and Jesus healed me totally, nothing else could.

I'm not saying he may not have a mental illness however, from what you've typed, there are numerous deliverance preachers across the country.
A long while back, when i was getting ready to go on a church mission(and still living with my parents and younger siblings), we had one of my older brothers move in with his now ex wife who was a practicing wiccan. We didn't know it at the time that she was practicing, but it makes so much looking back on all the paranormal and demonic stuff that happened in that house. What sucked the most was that she was inviting demons into the home of a whole family of spiritually sensitive people.
For a period of several months, all the women in my family-mom, me and 2 younger sisters-and my youngest brother were plagued with terrible nightmares and had the worst trouble with sleeping. We were all active participators in church, and we wondered what was wrong with us.
It wasn't until one night, maybe a month out from me leaving for above mentioned mission, that it all came to a head.
I was sleeping; dreaming, and it all started out fluffy and nice, and then it slowly got darker and creepier, and then once I became lucid enough to understand that I was dreaming and wanted to wake up, that is when a demonic figure of fire presented itself to me in my dream.
I was frightened when I woke, because I couldnt move, and I broke out in hot and cold sweats. My face felt tingly like I was being watched and the air all around my bed felt like ice.
I dont think I ever prayed harder in my life, and I begged and pleaded for Heavenly Father to take away the evil spirit and protect me. I always felt the comfort that Holy spirit, but the fear I felt knowing that the demon was there, even if I couldn't see it in my darkened room, was so much stronger.
I think it was around when I finished prayer #10 or #11, that I heard the raspy distorted whisper, "I'm not leaving". Mind, I was frantically praying while I was still in sleep paralysis, so by this point I was just trying not to hyperventilate.
Luckily for me, my younger brother woke up to use the restroom and turned on darn near every light on his way to the toilet, but that light broke me of my sleep paralysis and I gained enough courage to call out to him to walk me to my parents room.
Now, at the time that this even was happening, I was around early twenties, maybe 20-21, and my little brother around 13-14. He was baffled why he wanted me to have him basically escort me to my parents room, but he did.
I told my parents that I had a really bad nightmare, but didn't go into detail because of how shaken I was, and I ended up cuddling in between them both-something I hadn't done since I was 10- and my dad sent my little brother back to bed.
Not even a couple of seconds after my brother passed by my room to get to his, did he come running back yelling, adamantly saying that he would now not leave my parents room either.
When my dad asked what was wrong now, did my little brother say, "there is a tall dark shadow standing over her bed".
I woke the house with my screaming, because that's something no one ever wants to hear.
That night the house was blessed and we never had a problem after.
I know that God is real, but some people who believe in God tend to forget or even out right believe that there are no such thing as evil spirits(demons), but they are just as real and are nothing to play around with.
Please be safe in your daily interactions, and never, never, never invite evil spirits into your lives or homes.
The only ghost that should be invited into your life and home is the Holy Ghost.

Six years ago i gave my life back to Jesus and with a new neighbor/friend in my life she gave me a set of taro cards... Not understanding what they really were i prayed to God and asked Him if this was something he could use/work through to bring me closer to Him that He would let me know. That night i feel asleep on my couch with the taro cards on the floor on the middle of my living room. The next morning i was jarred awake by a crashing sound of breaking glass... As i rolled over i couldn't believe what i was looking at. I had 3 huge storm windows that were literally glued into the window frames and the middle pain had somehow come un glued and fell to the floor sharing into a million pieces directly on top of the taro cards. I fell too my knees and asked for forgiveness for allowing this evil thing into my house and threw them away immediately. It took my days to clean up all the glass and i was so thankful for every shard because it was my confirmation from God that He was all i needed. Praise Jesus for all He does, for all He's done and especially for all that is too come.

Thats a cool story. I wish more people would do what you did, and involve god in deciding what ways work best for you to commune with Him, as well as navigate through life. Tarot is a set of the various life- archetypes and symbols which play out in patterns we can learn, and draw strength from or warnings. Its literally the same way the bible works, only adding the “chance” or fortune aspect.. like flipping randomly to a page in the bible and using that for daily divination.
I used to be a witch and satanist. By the grace of God I was redeemed. However living that life was all fun and dandy until the demons aren’t nice anymore. Was fighting every day to maintain my sanity and stay in control of my mind/thoughts. I tell everyone around me don’t even mess with anything demonic. You give the enemy an inch he takes a mile.

My testimony is extremely similar. I was being harassed for 6 months before I cried out to God for discernment. Demons, dreams, manifestations and being touched by them. Its all ended when I had a dream where God and I had enough. I was tied up in a pentagram and I was pissed off and God said its time. I commanded to the room/group that I am a child of God and the room was obliterated. God is so powerful, do not be afraid. ❤
When you leave the path of divination and psychic B's the spirits often start plaguing you. I used to be "clairvoyant" and was called an "adept" by witches. When I started worshipping only the Lord again and asked him to guard my heart and mind I still would feel an invisible electric snap on the forehead and see ugly things when I was in evil places. Like where I worked. Once in church. They get very angry they can no longer enter me, so they try to get a spirit of fear to help open the doors again.
So how do know god wasn’t the devil in disguise. Both sides are the same bs, just like a coin.

I was born and raised in a strict Catholic family. As a young adult I began exploring more earth based philosophies, considering myself spiritual, but not necessarily Catholic. Twenty years later I was trying to think of something to give up for lent, because I was picking and choosing from different faiths, not committing to one, and my husband said "how about you give up not going to church. So, that's what I did. I started going every Sunday, and very quickly dove in deeper. Months went by, and I mustered up the courage to go to confession while attending a group adoration with my parents. The priest was amazing with me as someone who hadn't gone to confession since I had been in middle school. He took his time and went down a whole list of sins having me say simply yes or no. That night, I developed a high fever coupled with a red rash all over my body. I considered going to the ER, it was that bad. I woke up feeling fine. Being possessed conjures up images from The Exorcist, but I think me going to confession, at least, made something very angry about losing the battle for my soul. I've since realized that everything that I've been searching for in a religion is in the Catholic faith. It's got a tremendous amount of ritual, and mistasysam that are incredibly powerful. It's allowed me to find a contentment that I haven't felt since childhood.
It's beautiful to hear that you found your way back to your faith but have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior yet? If you read your Bible you'll find in the New Testament Jesus says "I am the Way the Truth and the Life no one comes to the Father except through me." It's not enough to just go to church. You must go to God In Prayer admit that you're a sinner who needs salvation and accept Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior. The Bible tells us "righteousness is given through faith in Christ Jesus ...for all have fallen short of the glory of God" Romans 3:22 and 23
Through God's Great mercy and love for us we are able to reconnect with God through His Son Jesus Christ by accepting the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross. Jesus wants a personal relationship with you. The way to that relationship is prayer and studying your Bible with the help of the Holy Spirit.💙

The Eucharist is the closest relationship you could have with God because that is Christ's, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity.
@@MotherOfTwelve it is not though, those are all symbols. The act of taking communion is to not just take in those symbols, but to reflect on what Jesus did for us while taking the body and blood. It isn't really his body and blood, but it is symbolic of his body and blood. "Matthew 26:26-28 NKJV

It was symbol, not his actual body and blood, but he asks us to take the bread and wine and take in in rememberance of Him and what He did. Our relationship with God isn't repeating things over and over again..that's habitual/ritual. When you have a relatio ahip you don't treat it as a ritual or habit, you go to them daily and have conversations with them and be honest with them opening up your heart to them.
Do you hear yourself? The inly thjng that should be giving you that type of fullfillment and comfort is the holy spirit. When yoj are getting it from mysticism, pomp and splendor… your high key under the control if the enemies deceptions ans desires that are steering your heart. Being saved is about dying to self, to your own desires, and submitting your will to the L’rds. The world teaches that this is bad, G’d is selfish to want to be worshipped etc. but G’d is so worthy to be praised more amazing than anything and more loving than you can ever fathom. He is safe to trust your heart with. J’sus is the inky way. And G’d is a jealous god… do not pray in any way for anything to anyone besides G’d in the name of J’sus…

I had a nightmare last night. Since I was a child, of being haunted. Last night, after the haunted object was haunting me , and I said “I rebuke you In the name of Jesus.” It left me alone. But it’s very unsettling. It’s been 20 days since I stopped watching tarot videos. It makes me sad I got into new age. I’m not going to lie today I’m struggling hard to not watch it, and I’m so happy this video showed up on my feed! I did tarot for many years too. I never got any answers or solutions for my life. Its actually the demons answering through the tarot cards. They wisper toughts into your head that have nothing to do with the cards themselves. Cling to Jesus hard and say: In the name of Jesus I renounce the spirits of Tarot/ divination/ new age/ occultism. Pray psalm 91 before sleep for protection. I sleep with a rosary under my pillow. You can put a cross under it if youre not catholic. You are on the good path

My brother in high school had a friend who said he had a demon, my brother laughed and said he wish he’d have one as well.
After that my brother experienced scary episodes, lights flickering on and off in our bathroom at night, he couldn’t sleep good and would wake up with a really fast heart rate, he had bad dreams. He never told me the extent of what he experienced but I remember (I was in middle school at the time) my parents waking us up and us all having to sleep in the living room together so he would feel safe. I don’t really remember how it all ended but he still to this day can’t watch any type of paranormal movie because he knows demons are real. Anytime anyone asks if I believe in demons I say yes because I saw it in my home. Thankfully we know Jesus and put all our faith and trust in Him, and Jesus is far more powerful than these demons!!

I did something similarly stupid and basically invited a demon one day and I heard voices the entire night.
Everybody else got mad at me for lying to get attention.
Only my pastors believed me and told me it happens when you test the devil.

Once I started seeing all these UA-cam testimonials about new age & demons, & the fact that demons can be driven out with the power of Jesus Christ’s name, I turned away from ALL the new age stuff I had started getting into -- yoga, horoscopes, psychics… I believe the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to the TRUTH of Jesus & the Bible that day/night. Thank God!!! I truly feel our house is protected ❤😇 it is SUCH a slippery slope with the new age popularity today - but the devil is The Father of LIES & deception, so I’m not surprised. It’s actually pretty easy to see The TRUTH once your eyes are open & you know Jesus 😇
We don't believe in the occult. Not that it doesn't exist for those who give it credence, but it is not relevant to those whose choice is to align with G-d, and choose Life. Be happy and free! I remember in 7th grade, in the Christian religion class, our teaching (Miss Tamara) told us about how her daughter (who was I think 10th or 11th grade then) wanted to go with her classmates to this medium to have her "coffee cup read". It's fairly common where I come from to have those ladies welcome people at their houses to read their future or cast some spells for them.
So Miss Tamara told her that it was up to her, but she is in NO WAY returning to her house, because "once you leave their place, you NEVER leave alone. And those beings you bring with you are NOT welcome in my house." Needless to say, her daughter didn't go.
I am forever grateful for that story, had I not known what these mediums do or deal with I would have accepted so many invitations to go with friends later in life. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO ONE.. Praise God 🙏✝

A few years ago my husband and we’re fighting all the time, I was experiencing depression and he was prone to fits of rage. Several times while he was raging and I was sulking I saw a dark figure like a black rider or dementor standing in the corner feeding on the anger and misery in the room. I’m glad to say we got our house blessed, it’s gone, I’m no longer depressed and my husband and I are doing counseling and are in a much better place.

@@granmabern5283 Holy Water has no power, Crucifix has not power..it is the Name of Jesus that we have power because He died on the Cross. It is the person of the God Head Jesus that has overcome sin by becoming our sacrifice. The other things are of no use when it comes to demons! Plead the Blood of Jesus over your doorpost and your household. Read the Scriptures to understand the Truth. You were probably raised Catholic as I was and we were led astray by the religious beliefs instead of having a relationship with Jesus.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I can relate to your post. I've never seen a dark figure in our home, but wonder if my depression, anxiety and PTSD have a spiritual component to them. We've had our house blessed and I've done some deliverance work with a strong priest, but I haven't had a drastic improvement or relief. Overall, I think it's that I'm just not working hard enough on my spiritual life. Idk. God bless and protect you and your family!!!
I was born a Catholic and by the time I was a teenager I rejected the religion, and became an agnostic. I read books on Buddhism, Hinduism, Confucianism, Astrology, Numerology etc...looking for my purpose in life. I read tarot cards, and did horoscopes and became "proficient" in it. Jenn describes to a tee the way people like myself get innocently coerced into that we are doing a public service. In reality we are doing the bidding of the Adversary of our souls. 17 years ago I surrendered my life and my will to Jesus Christ and took him as my Lord and Savior. Wow her story resonates with me so much. I believe I was demonically oppressed when I was a teenager. For 5 years I suffered with depression. I would envision a noose hanging from my closet, thought about death and suicide every day, I had sleep paralysis (eyes open, but couldn't breath or lift my head up, but could see a dark shadow with the silhouette of a man at the end of my bad. When I tried to call out to it, no sound came out of my mouth.)
This whole time I thought I was okay with God too. (I am a preachers kid) I was the goodie goodie on the outside, but my heart was ugly inside. I dealt with a lot of anger, bitterness, hurt, blame...and was grieving, hormonally imbalanced, and in a lot of physical pain (not a good mix).
It wasnt until the Holy Spirit nudged my heart and mind, that I came to the realization that I was not a "good" person and now understood the actual reason Jesus did what he did for us.
I dropped to my knees, weeping telling God I didn't want to be this way anymore, and asked him to change me. I had asked Jesus into my heart when I was a kid, but I didnt fully understand it until that point. My depression left me immediately. I felt so much burden lifted. I started to cry happy tears. I now live in freedom and dont experience those awful thoughts anymore.
I tell people I can't explain it completely, but I can never deny the existence of God. My life completely shifted.

Confess that you are a sinner and say out loud that He is Lord. That will take you a long way to successfully fighting the darkness and the demons. @clmortenson Thank you so much for your reply. I've been a Christian for years, and never battled demons or darkness. I was, however, involved in the occult, hence the shadow of a man at the foot of my bed that was seen by 4 or 5 other people, along with another simultaneous, impossible occurrence that I won't go into.
I was rattled by reading the OP's experience of something similar, followed seconds later by Jenn Nizza recounting the same experience, then pointing out that it's demonic, and common. I'd forgotten about the shadow occurrence, so hearing it called a demon was rattling. A _healthy_ fear of the darkness can give one greater insight into Christ's gift of salvation.
Gift of salvation. It's a gift, freely offered to us. We are saved by grace alone, not by asking Jesus into our hearts, and not by saying anything aloud. That saying about asking Jesus into our hearts is not biblical, and, it can be argued, is a false gospel.
We must acknowledge ourselves as sinners, know that our sin separates us from God, and that the only way to reconcile ourselves to God is by acknowledging Jesus' death, his burial, and his resurrection. When sharing these three points, know why each is important, and know Bible verses that support it all.

Repent if needed, but make sure you’re baptized. Jesus taught all who choose to follow him need baptism. Then you can receive the help of the Holy Spirit. Today, many churches don’t think it’s necessary but it is, and I wouldn’t neglect doing what Jesus himself asked us to do. I’m so tired of men changing what Jesus taught by telling people things such as; Jesus’ word was only for the Jews, etc. If we cover ourselves by doing these things, and keep the commandments, life is much better and it’s easier to stay away from evil.
I was absently listening to this video while washing dishes until I got to the part about sleep paralysis. When she described the demon she witnessed, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up and my heart started racing. Seventeen years ago, my dad described seeing the EXACT same thing one night while lying on our couch in the living room. He said it was a dark hooded figure just standing in the hallway entry to the living room, like the Grim Reaper without a sickle. It stood there staring at him, then rose up to the ceiling, and dissipated into ashes. He said he was totally awake, hadn’t fallen asleep yet or anything. Completely freaked him out.
For context, we were missionaries in a Native village above the Arctic Circle. There were no roads to our village, only access by plane. The demonic oppression in the village was palpable. My dad used to get frequent calls in the middle of the night by frantic people begging him to come to their house and cast out the demons in their home.
At the time that my dad saw the dark figure, he rationalized it away and said that it must have just been the most realistic nightmare that he’s ever had, but at the same time he swore he was awake. After hearing this lady’s testimony, I’m more inclined to think my dad saw one of the demons he was praying out of other people’s homes. There truly is a spiritual battle going on in the world.
I see a similar figure nearly every time I suffer from sleep paralysis (which is pretty often sometimes). Pretty freaky. Glad you guys were able to help those people in your mission
I used to have those "dreams" and waking dreams they call " night terrors" and I always saw them, too. I thought they were over long ago, but I just had one last month, and I was able to recall the whole incident and the rest of the dream it felt very real. In the beginning of the dream I felt a hand holding my face hard on the bed, and it burned like ice. I suddenly yelled out " have mercy on me SON OF DAVID!!!" ( In my prayers I don't think I have ever addressed the Lord by that Name, but I believe He was showing me a sign. It is what blind Bartomeus called out in the story where Jesus healed him) and then, still dreaming I was in hot pursuit of the thing, which went into a room of my house that is not there ( in real life it is a hall closet with a vacuum and some crutches and medical equipment we don't need anymore that I am meaning to donate somewhere) but in my dream it was a surprise nursery with a bed that had dinosaur sheets and some toys. I looked down and I was suddenly wearing a blouse but no pants and I could hear voices in the hall. So I grabbed a pair of pajamas that were way too small and struggled to yank them on just as my nephew walked in on me and asked " auntie, why are you wearing my jammies?" And he is 22 now, but in the dream he was little again) Then my sister was suddenly in the dream with a bag of blood in her hand, bragging that human blood facials are big money, but she sounded like a New Yorker from Queens ( we are born and raised in southern California). I never caught the thing in my dream, but now I have cleaned my whole house and done more Scripture study and am ready for my next mission trip. I plan on returning to the Mono people near Yosemite, where my husband and I made many inroads and saw many people battling wicked spirits in those mountains. Pray for the Mono Nation, who have huge problems with witchcraft, drugs, delinquent parents, really high suicide and murder rates, and demons possess people and cause insanity to be the new normal. They are really secretive and hostile to Christianity in general...but they trust and love my husband and me. They even gave me a Mono name and invited me to be a story teller for their little kids... kids who never once heard a Bible story or a Christian prayer came into my story/ craft time at a charity shop I volunteered in there and wanted more stories. They like animal stories and painting old sheets. I tell the story first, then they tell me the story back and paint their version on a sheet. We made Jonah and the wale, the Shepherd who rescued the lost lamb, the fish with a coin in his mouth, God saving the animals from the flood ( poor Noah never got painted on the sheet, lol) and Elijah getting food deliveries from raven. They loved that one. After we did all those the church hating parents still hate " white Jesus" but had no clue what their kids were up to, nor did they care. They just were happy they got free babysitting and free clothes and backpacks.
So maybe these evil things hate us for taking the gospel to strongholds of witchcraft and try to make us feel frozen.
Also, it could be connected to the many Indigenous lives that were lost due to the effects of colonization
@@aquariansoullife yes, of course. Did I mention my husband and I are both first nations? Sorry if that wasn't a given. But natives don't really trust white Jesus for just the reason you mentioned: the atrocities commited by colonists and capitalists that claim to have Christian values.
And yes, it was about free stuff and someone to watch the kids. Atrocities in the past are connected to ravaged lives in the now...but the mono are sort of looked down on by other native tribal groups for complicated reasons.

When my daughter was in 2nd or 3rd grade, the school brought in a performer around Halloween. The performer had a giant ouija board and had called up students to participate. My poor sweet daughter raised her hand to go hold the little bell the "ghost" would ring when there was an answer.

Her story is so much like mine. I thought I had a gift from God and was helping people. My spirit guide was Native American too! My husband even saw him. I would hear things when I was in public too and would go up to strangers and told people things. I started getting attacked by demons and it woke me up to what was really happening. I am grateful to be born again today. So many are coming out of the new age. Jesus is amazing!

My daughter fell into the new age stuff when she was a teen, she was talking about everything mentioned on the interview. The numbers, the tarot cards she wanted very bady but i refused to let them in my house. She had crystals and thought she was psychic and just got very depressed and she was diagnosed with schizophrenia because she was hearing voices and just very dark, said she was told she didnt need to eat r drink anymore too. Just very scary. Shes 20 now and on meds but in my mind I still wonder if she is being oppressed.

This stuff is real. I don't personally have experience in it, thank goodness, but I was very close with my cousin when I was younger, and I am now convinced that she participated in something dark like this.
My cousin and her family has a history of psychics or "gifts" in the family. My cousin said while she was young that she saw her dead aunt appear to her, and told her things that nobody would know. My cousins's family had taken in her dog after she died, and her "aunt" had told her certain tricks this dog knew and the dog was able to perform the same tricks, tricks that nobody else in the family knew about. The grandmother of this family was described as having a "gift" and was able to levitate tables while she had been alive. My cousins used to see things, like colors/aura around people, or other figures. She was described by my cousin's family as having a "gift". When I was younger I used to be terrified to go to the second level in their house. It was literally dark, but also had this weird pressure in the air that felt dark and scary. I never saw anything, but I was terrified I would, and anytime I went up there I always wanted someone with me, and I couldn't hardly sleep when I was upstairs. The whole time I felt like there was this kind of spiritual darkness just waiting to take me in some way. I could feel that it wanted me, and I was afraid.
The same thing would happen to me in the cabin house where the aunt grew up. My cousin's family still owns this house, and anytime we would visit I would never go upstairs. The moment you would touch the stairs the powerful dark pressure or presence was there, just like in the other house, and I would be terrified. In both houses, my cousin would spend much of the time in her room, which was the second story in both of these houses.
It wan't that I was scared of being upstairs or in being in the dark. I slept in the second story in the house I grew up in and would regularly climb the stairs in the dark, or go down in the middle of the night in the dark, so it wasn't that. It was simply the effect of being in a place where demons were welcomed, albeit because of assuming an identity, but welcomed nonetheless.
Now that I'm older and more confident in the power of Jesus over these kind of things than when I was younger, I'm not afraid to go upstairs in their house now, but I can't help but notice that the pressure that I felt when I was little I sometimes notice is still there and it wasn't my imagination, but I don't feel it near to me now like I did, because I have the confidence in Christ that I simply need to say His name and the enemy will flee from me, because they cannot stand to be in the presence of God. We truly do not fight against flesh and blood; it really is principalities and powers, and we can rest assured that God has already won the fight, and the only thing the enemy can do now is try to drag us down with him.
I've had numerous psychic readings and I can tell you, the things they tell you are real. For instance, one time I saw a psychic and she told me that I was going on a holiday (standard reading) and I told her she was right BUT she said no, you're going for another holiday very soon after this holiday ... that was spot on because there were a few days between the holidays I was having. She was accurate on many things.
I realised she was probably dealing with demons by the feeling a got from her house. She also tried to leave the psychic job but things went drastically wrong every time she did - falling down stairs, breaking bones etc.
One time she was looking into the kitchen and told me to look at the fridge and when I looked, I saw a dark shadow hovering around the refrigerator. I wasn't scared and she said it was probably my father but I realise that it was probably a demon. I hope that I'm not oppressed.
I'm actually converting to be Catholic soon. Apart from (obviously) believing Jesus died for me, the Marian apparitions that have happened over the years and what is happening now in the world and the Catholic church are so accurate (check out - 3 secrets of Fatima or apparitions of Akita or others).
Gosh that could be made into a movie. Probably was a demon if it was a shadow.
After my husband passed away my best friend told me he would appear in her dreams. She went to a medium who told her 'he wanted her to tell me something', so she talks to him in her dreams, and he tells her to 'tell me, to let him go'. I was so stunned and confused and frustrated because I myself couldn't dream him or talk to him. My friend told me to go see this lady. She promised me she wasn't a witch or anything that she was just 'special'. I thank God He never allowed me to open that door. The dead are dead. They're the ones who are sleeping.

ive had a visit from someone on either side. a young girl burnt in a housefire. couple weeks later we had a couple moments together. her heaven manifested before me and she came with all the colours and expressions of love. i tried to stay. she told me i couldnt and it was time to wake up. i wasnt in control. the few moments with her equated to 8+ hours of sleep, i missed my alarm. after my grandmother passed a dream i was in was interrupted. everything was void immediately and then a crack in the darkness opened. it was a door. her world was black and white, devoid of any color or vibrancy or love. she moved toward me like the first experience i described but she wasnt as i remembered. she was 16 and so beautiful. she sent me her explanation/justification of her worldly path. it hit me like a table tennis ball. i felt offence at her selfishness. i understood everything she sent instantly and sent her back the effects it had on my life and the suffering i endured as a result of her. the "ball" i sent back was so powerful compared to hers it pushed her and that dead world of birch and poplar on a baron landscape and the opening slammed shut so fast and hard it scared me awake.
The dead are physically dead, they are not dead in the spirit world at all.

Many years ago, I was approached in parking lot by a young women and her very young son asking if I would be open to a message she received for me. I immediately said “absolutely not” nicely but firmly. When I drove away my heart was racing. I had to pull over and pray and calm down. I know for sure a spirit was trying to plant something in me. Praise God and the Holy Spirit protected me that time and MANY other times. May God place an ongoing protection over all his saints and make us fearless.

Yep I grew up playing with the oujia board, playing light as a feather, Bloody Mary and Watching Ghost stories and horror movies and now that I am Christian and baptized and growing with Christ Jesus I realized how much I opened the door to chaos and destruction and demonic activity in my life and in my families life. I grew up Catholic and went to church every Sunday but I never knew who Jesus was. My parents left him at church every Sunday and never brought Him into our home. We never read the Bible, we never prayed and they just did what everyone else was doing my never really built a foundation with God in their hearts. The devil came for our family and today we are all separated and divided but I know with God all things are possible and he can restore what is broken. If only we had Jesus as our foundation how different my life could have been growing up. I wouldn’t have dabbled in so much evil but I didn’t know the cost I was gonna pay for it. The devil is the biggest deciever.
I prayed to be able to forgive my mom and suddently she was drinking way less than before and wanted to help me. God can trully make miracles. Never lose hope.

My Dad and I are blessed with discernment. I met a former friend of one of my sisters, I looked at this person and saw what looked like a label above their head "Freeloader". Told my Dad about what I saw outside and he confirmed that's the case. My Dad could shake hands with someone and get a good portion of their life story. Something that actually happened with him in front of me, was someone dropped a key in a red Christmas kettle (Salvation Army Bell ringers) and was passing this one Kettle Worker open it for him to get the key. I went with my Dad and after the guy got his key, my Dad told me his plans for the evening and because of them he was stressed during the interaction. My Dad has buckets of more stories in the same realm as that.

On the thing of psychics and seeing lost ones-
My dad has never dabbled in psychics or anything like that. Closest he's gotten was psychaDELICS in college (he's fine now, he was never really addicted to it)
He heard on the radio an explanation of signs that a loved one who passed on is trying to talk to you, like if you see a penny on the ground, a feather on the ground, et cetera. I'd imagine he rolled his eyes and muttered something about 'godless bullshit' or something as he clicked it off.
He opened the door of his car later, at our cabin up north, which he purchased from my grandfather and his siblings with his share of my grandfather's inheritance money only a few days before my grandfather passed on peacefully in his sleep. So again, he stepped out of the car to the cabin, grabbed his stuff, and began walking up the short brick path, and saw on the ground a feather.
I believe he said he cried to himself with a smile, knowing if anything, it was either God trying to tell him that He has my grandpa, or my grandpa trying to tell him that he's in a better place (in a different sense than a ghost communicating via a ouija board or anything like that. more like a subtle thing just to remind him that he's better now).
I grew up in a very small church. When I was pretty young our pastor led a man to Christ who had been a medium. His name was Ben Alexander. He put the fear in us about demons and how not to open any doors. From a very early age I could sense things. I was harassed by demons for many years. I asked a Christian councilor who dealt with this type of thing why was I being picked on by demons. He told me that demons hate to be exposed and that I knew when they were around and they hated that. I go out of my way to avoid any situation that could put me in one of those situations. God is stronger than he who is in the world.
I came back to Jesus after 23 years in the occult. In February of this year. Interestingly, it happened this year and also in my 36th year.
I was raised a Catholic.

The very next day, my beautiful french bulldog, became paralyzed and hasn't walked properly since. I believe my boy was attacked as that is what would hurt me the most. I don't regret coming back to God and I believe he will help my boy walk again 🙏

My sister has a paralyzed Frenchie that costs her thousands she doesn't have to spare and can't control her bowels. I'm sorry your Frenchie got hurt. Those nasty demons are always trying to cause pain in our households, and I have lost too many little kitty friends to sadists, coyotes, and one white kitten who I last saw in the talons of an owl. Coyotes are not just tricksters, they murdered my sweeties in broad daylight! But thank God the evil things didn't strike you or your family. Too bad our little friends got the brunt of their wrath. I love cats and so does my husband...but now every time he shows me a kitten video ( my big tough ex-biker/former prisoner/outlaw/former bad dude husband sits and cries over our lost kitty friends and has the dogs(who are somehow spared all the evil strikes) lick him and snuggle him. We can't bear any more heartbreak with kitties, so I said no more cats...but you know cats find suckers that can't resist. Our kitties went on walks with us when we went hiking, climbed aboard our paddle boats, rode in the car with the dogs, and fetched toys and balls of paper. They all thought they were part of the pack and sort of acted like dogs that could climb trees. I miss them so much. I saved two from dying of distemper as kittens just to lose them to evil attacks every time someone got delivered from evil spirits or repented of their sins and came to Christ with us. I only connected the events to our witnessing to people in need after the third cat flew away with the owl. I miss that little guy, but that kitty was named Vicious because he kept drawing blood on everyone who reached out to touch him. They couldn't resist, even when I insisted they would get torn up. My other sweeties we're all sweet and came when called and did tricks like little dog/cats. One even peed down the shower drain when she had to go potty and I was asleep. They were the best. I've lost 5 smart ones, 2 typical ones, and one mean baby. But I can't take it anymore so I'm done herding cats until coyotes and gangbangers go extinct. I actually don't blame the owl, it just freaked me out to watch him fly away like that.

I used to have random bouts of sleep paralysis. I initially believed that these events were a weakness in my willpower or mental fortitude and felt that the paralyzation must be something that I needed to learn how to overcome. During the paralysis I would use all my strength and focus to try to move my spirit out of the trap only to find myself terrorized by my own immobility. At times the paralysis was harmless. It was scary but not traumatizing. Most of the time I would attempt to overcome what was holding me to force my focus a glance in their direction. It was as if they were controlling my focus from looking directly upon them. The visual memories I have of shadowy figures are most likely dream imaginations. One time the paralysis felt so deeply evil as if someone was standing over me with a knife or as if I was close to a deeply evil ritual. I felt the sheer evil, and caught a glance at a figure, and this one was more than a shadow with a definite stature. I recall looking away in fear, shutting my eyes as I didn't want to see it again and I was praying so deeply in this event, probably the Lord's Prayer. I remember the dark spiritual weight of the figure over me. l dont recall it speaking but I remember loud chaotic noises around me, rumbling, banging on the walls, and shaking my bed. I truly believed I was going to die. This is the only time in my life that death has ever felt inminent. I remember waking up in the morning and asking myself what the hell happened. In one of my later less severe sleep paralysis events, I uttered the name "Jesus" and the paralysis immediately released and I could move back into sleep. I didnt understand why but later found through reading first hand accounts that other people were doing this as well. When I woild find myself in sleep paralysis uttering the name "Jesus" worked again and again. Eventually the sleep paralysis stopped happening and I havent had them in a long time. Now when people take the Lord's name in vain I gleefully respond with "Praise his Holy Name!" Jesus is more than a conqueror of evils. He is the king of kings, lord of lords, Jesus has made each of us conquerors of evil through his Holy Name.
I felt so relieved for you when I reached the end of your comment. I totally agree - the Lord's name is so powerful. My boyfriend (at the time, now he is my husband) was in a sleep paralysis when we were camping together and started speaking in tongues (which woke me up), the atmosphere in the tent was dark cold, dangerous-feeling. I had a Rosary with me (we are both Catholics) and I started praying the rosary. He woke up shortly after and told me about his dream which was demonic bugs attacking him (+ he couldn't move in physical form) and that at one point I appeared in his dream and squashed the bugs (which I imagine was in line when I started praying to Mary). I believe we were both attacked that day. Calling on Mary is also powerful too - apparently the devil is super scared of her. She is often depicted stepping on the devil.
Same situation. The feeling of being dragged out if bed, scratching on the walls and once hearing a growl after waking up completely. Jesus fixed it all and have learned to fight it off in prayer in his name during these events. They can still happen but they are becoming less frequent n almost completely gone over the years. I’ve had an extremely similar experience. I pray the Hail Mary now when I get sleep paralysis, which is still pretty frequently. But it doesn’t torture me like it used to, I can just relax and drift back into sleep saying the Hail Mary. I’ll try your method next time it happens. God bless you!
Same thing happened! I started getting sleep paralysis when I was like 13 years old and at that time I was suicidal and listening to subliminal messages. I just remember how I would wake up not being able to open my eyes and FLOATING off my bed and going in circles. I swear I felt like I was going to be possessed. Then I would wake up and there would be so much loud noises and then fear of something just watching me. A few days ago, i woken up feeling a desire to sin and watch porn. I said enough and went back to sleep but then I had sleep paralysis. This time I said to myself “ in Jesus name STOP” and I could move again. I believe the devil was trying to attack me because lately I have been going to church and trying to get close to god. Jesus name is so powerful indeed.

Sister, only Jesus can save you. I used to get attacks too but no more. To prevent it from happening, read the bible daily, starting with John, pray several times a day, especially before you go to sleep, and surrender to Jesus completely. When you get attacked, but cry out to Jesus for help and they will have to leave you alone.
When I left the New Age, I went to mass and then brought home a cross and Bible for my nightstand.
Later that day, I came home to find that the evil thing haunting my life, whatever it was, knocked the cross over.
I went back to the store and bought two more crosses. Once I set them down, I pointed my finger at the room and shouted, “For every move you make against me and my family, another cross will come into this house.”
It left and never came back (that I know of). My life has been filled with miracles and healing ever since. I will never touch tarot cards again.

I was into all the occult stuff including dousing rods. One time I asked them if their were any spirits in the room. They pointed to a corner where I had always felt a evil presence. A presence I had unknowingly invited in. I’ve since been born again and have gotten rid of all occult objects. Praise the LORD! Jesus saves

She said that the demon she saw while she had sleep paralysis was a black shadowy figure. That’s exactly what my sister in law said she saw in the hospital. She’s a nurse who works in the emergency department. She told me that a man was near death, and it was instructed that no one go inside his room. She was in the hallway when she turned and saw through his room’s window a shadowy black figure looking down at him while he was sleeping. She yelled at it, and as she was about to open the door to tell him he’s not allowed in there, he wasn’t there anymore. I have no idea why she would see it, so now I have to tell her about this video and ask her if she’s gone to a psychic before. She’s not religious nor into any of this new age stuff.

oof, its eerie how close this mirrors my childhood, my mom is a reiki master, she dove deep into the occult and new age philosophy, "ghost" activity was common in our house, fully locked front door with a hatch chain, opened regularly, and we would tell the "ghost" to close the door, and it would close... things would go missing, weird stuff.. she continued this new age stuff, meditating and talking to what she thought was herself, then she was arguing with it, and asked it to use its own voice, then a male voice came through, freaked her out a bit, but since it mirrored the new age nonsense she believed it, and continued then it got to far, the touching she described more like attempted molestations and she freaked out, she started seeing dark blobs skirting around the house, she ended up getting a priest to sanctify our house and never did anything like that again... i studied all this stuff as a consequence, i wanted to kick the ass of the thing that messed with my mom, but its a slippery slope... i slowly got corrupted, took me rock bottom and praying before i suicide. just in case. as i lay there thinking how can the creator love me, in self pity and delusion from narcissism, contemplating if the creator is real or not, praying to a highly specific, the Creator of all, regardless of religious connotations. having read so many different occult things i feared falling into a false belief, so i just believed in myself, which was a trap. but lying there i suddenly feel light and unconditional love pour all over me, i see my life flash before my eyes, how dumb i had been, how i rationalised and lied to myself about others, there is nothing more humbling then the creator... lol... after all that i felt like a fool, and i just wanted to die more. i thought no one on this earth loves me, but then i saw flashes of my little sisters and mom. and i called them, turns out, they REALLY needed me. i swore then and there that i would just live for the creator and my family. lol
that is a hyper condensed version of my lifes story, this video just made me want to share that bit. during that time as a child, i would get intrusive images of disgusting things, and constant nightmares, the images i destroyed with my own images, and the nightmares i defeated through will and belief in myself, granted it was a slow road to victory, with many gruesome deaths while dreaming... slowly i learned to fly, move things with my minds, create things from nothing, super strength, speed, regeneration. anything i could i imagine i could do, so i became like a god in my dreams. but fighting it only desensitized me, corrupted me. was not until after i found the love of god... that i finally had total victory... since i can do anything in my dreams, i just remember the love and light of the creator, let it radiate outwards and love unconditionally, and the nightmare deflated into a pathetic looking imp that just ran away... after that the nightmares got less frequent and less direct, i suspect in an effort to keep me from being lucid. until i managed to fool the entity into a hug, before i start radiating love, i feigned fear to draw it in. fear is the mind killer, fear gives power to the nightmare. but love is its nemesis... lol that poofed it... i have not had a nightmare since... lol
lol, yeah. mom also read tarrot cards, but she did it for free, and not professionally, she did have uncanny precision sometimes, but those times she would also not remember what she said... other times it was clearly based in her bias and assumptions based on the cards alone. yeah she describes it similarly to mom, mom predicted a pregnancy and still birth. before the mother knew she was pregnant. through the cards. the voice that talked to her claimed to be saint germain an "ascended master" lol so to me i never believed any entity i spoke too... i even had the classical jesus character try to convince me of stuff, radiating love and light... but when i questioned him, he turned into a classical horned winged demon radiating darkness and fear... so... i dont trust anything on the other side... lol i can make myself look like anything in a dream state. the more powerful ones can create powerful illusions... that is why DISCERNMENT is so crucial...
This was very interesting. I am a Christian and am so thankful that Jenn surrendered her life to Christ. She is very articulate and intelligent, and I think people who don’t mess with this stuff might think that only uneducated people fall for it, but the devil is good and effective at what he does. I find a lot of times people that think of themselves as “more intelligent than common man” usually can’t seem to believe in God. But we have to realize that not believing is just as absurd as believing there is a grand creator behind all this. Your cat lives in your house and thinks “this place is always perfect temp, never rains, and I always have a cozy bed. No way anybody created it though.” From our POV that’s ridiculous to think someone didn’t design and build this and it’s complexities. I feel that’s a decent analogy to explaining Gods intelligence compared to ours. (Although Gods intelligence is probably infinite times past.) but since we can not see the spirit realm we have a hard time believing what we can’t see, so these people can’t believe anything without hard evidence, even though they do exactly that every day. People get too smart and “scholarly” to the point they think we know pretty much everything there is to know, and anything that we don’t know? Well we will figure that out someday also.
My question to them is: How do you say that for millions of years there was absolutely no life, and them some how through chemistry and heat and a perfect sequence a single atom or set of atoms decided to become conscious and turn into some kind of amoeba. There isn’t a single plant for it to breather from, there are no plankton for it to eat, there’s no bacteria except it. And your telling me that it lived long enough to multiply and some of descendants decided to turn into plants and some of them decided to become conscious life? I think that is more absurd than admitting that someone knew that exact formula and laid everything out like a blue print because HE KNEW. That’s God to me, and that God is Christ. :) sorry felt like ranting…

Reminds me of a scene from the show Young Sheldon, in which his mom is having a crisis of faith, and Sheldon shares with her some great scientific facts that point to the intentional design of our Creator. He says that it’s at least plausible. Just a show, but it makes me cry every time I see that clip, because it’s so simple, obvious, true, and it’s a loving gesture and honest admission from a skeptic to his believer mom.

I have had sleep paralysis. The last time I saw something, normally I can't. It was a dark shadow. It got on the bed, and then it molested me. I could feel, but could not move. I knew I was between sleeping and being awake, so wasn't too worried, but I was upset that I could not act against it, and also felt sick. I woke up after. I have started praying more during these times, and I'll do so more often now. My understanding with psychics or mediums, is that the spirits they are with can perceive all the thoughts, memories and feelings of those around them, includng the medium. These are things of a spiritual nature, not material. So it is very, very dangerous to think you are in control. If the spirit is malignant, which it almost always will be, I think, it will do whatever you want provided it can maintain control. But some people I have told this to, who want to dabble, got angry when I told them to be careful. I want nothing to with such activties. Nor do I wish for any more sleep paralysis... I also believe that anxiety, depression, even work stress, and some other mental and bodily illnesses are due to spiritual oppression. I also believe in auras, and that oppression occurs from people who exhibit such auras. As a younger person, I didn't believe in any of this, and thought such things were crazy. People can also experience varuous pains - buring, dull, sharp pains, random lashing in parts of their body. I have felt these for years. I have felt my mind being burnt on occassion watching porn, not always, but once it was so strong I had a breakdown that took months to recover. I know that others experience this. But few talk about it. Problems with feeling like I am being burnt or crushed when I try to go to sleep.
When I was young, at university, I dabbled in all manner of occult and new age ideas. The tarot and runes used to be incredibly specific. Then I started to realise that they went haywire every time my friend - a born again Christian - was in the room next to me. Over time I realised that whatever power she was accessing, it was waaay more than anything I was doing. I didn't do a Simon Magus and ask to buy whatever power she had - but I burned my tarot, threw the runes into the sea and asked Jesus into my life.
That was 27 years ago now. At that point I was about to have an occult novel published but I was able to pull out of the deal and get rid of my book. I have since written a Christian fantasy series - Kingdom Rising - and I'm so grateful I don't have occult novels in my name.
There is real, spiritual power out there - the human race is forever seeking because we're aware that what we see and taste and touch is not everything there is. As one of my characters says - "Magic is quite boring really, it's just people's way of trying to make things happen that the King doesn't want to happen."
My old Italian grandmother warned us about the Ouija board. She said, “You’re calling the devil, someday because you did, he’ll be calling you.” My mother threw it in the trash.

As a child I had sleep paralysis and the dark figure stood in the doorway of my bedroom. My sister and I had the same nightmares in one house as young girls about demons in our developed basement that would take our mother father and sister.....we discovered the same dream thing as adults when talking about dreams and that house....very evil. I have also had a demon growl under my bed...I prayed and I was able to go right back to sleep. Praise Jesus for his protection all of my life. I did the new age thing in my 20's and thirties searching for the meaning of life. Jesus never gave up on me, I got baptized a couple of years ago and I have a beautiful relationship with our Lord and Saviour.
Forgot to mention the only thing that stopped the sleep paralysis was prayer.
Sleep paralysis is a very physical thing. Our brain paralyzes our body when we sleep so we don't act out our dreams and hurt ourself
It's entirely possible to have sleep paralysis without it being something demonic just like it's entirely possible that the reason you can't move is not because of sleep paralysis, but because a demon is holding you down.

Same! But I could move.. I would wake up in the middle of the night and try to get comfy and fall back asleep but I would get a feeling that I wasn’t alone and something or someone was staring at me. I would then get this horrible feeling… it’s like the worst most terrifying feeling ever… and I would have to roll over to look in the direction that I was feeling the stare coming from. I would roll over and look to the edge of my bed and there it was… a tall black figure with a hat on. And I literally would leap out of bed in blind terror… it was like pure human instinct to get as far away as I could from my room.

My fiance and I both come from DEEP-rooted witch/psychic families. Our moms, aunts, and cousins are all witches. And I even identified as a witch myself when I met my fiance... After moving in together, the demons doubled down and messed with us brutally. I'm talking alarms going off at 3am, music boxes playing by themselves, sleep paralysis, picking the same tarot card 5 times in a row, etc. I have had MANY terrifying demonic attacks across my lifetime, but whatever my fiance had attached to him is what made me give my life to Jesus. I knew that HE was the only protector. I am saved and I am extremely grateful

Very relatable. I was a committed occultist for many years before I was saved and know, like Jen does, that there are realities in our world that can't be explained rationally. I had a number of unpleasant experiences from performing ceremonial magic (Goetia, Enochian, Planetary Magic, etc.) that convinced me of these realities first hand, sometimes with witnesses who saw and experienced the same things. Looking back I can't believe I carried on doing those practices when the evidence of what they unleashed was so obvious, but I did for some time until one day, after reading the (heretical) Gnostic gospels, I decided to look into the REAL Gospels, and began reading Matthew 5 and suddenly the truth and beauty of Jesus's words struck me in a way I'd never experienced before, and something unalterably changed permanently. Not long after that I explored the gospels more, completely renounced all occult practices and knew I'd been truly born again! Praise God!

When I was 8yrs old my friends grandfather read my palm.He took my hand and looked at closely. Then looked up at me with horror in his eyes then got up and walked away saying nothing.

I had a guy I worked with who had a native American spirit guide. He randomly turned up at my house one day professing his undying love for me and how his spirit guide told him we would be together. He had pages of automatic writing he was waving at me. He called off his engagement and I was quite scared. I don't know how he got my address...but wasn't a hope in hell that I was meant to be with him.🤯 I've had so much weird stuff happen to me over the years....ain't no doubt in my mind the spiritual realm is real.
Similar story to mine.. grew up in a christian home, but my sister in law was very into ghosts and those stuff, and when things started happening in their house, I was convinced too.. specially when a friend of her came that was a medium, "cast the ghosts" out, told us who they were and it was correct by the church book, and also thought us some personal details that was so correct that I was convinced and started searching it. 19 years since I started the search, and stayed in it and got deeper and deeper untill 3 years ago. I still stuggle with demons and the spiritual battle is really hard. Fell out of faith for about a year after, then I had no bad dreams, no attacks, and it was nice to not have that fear, but I was all numb and my heart got really hard. Christians should be more educated in this, pray for the people around them and educate their kids, because new age is all around now. Even at the therapist, they want you to meditate and do yoga. Its hard to stay away, specially if you dont think satan is real and that he desquise as an angel of light. And yeah, the information you get is true, often you were surprised yourself on what comes up. I was thought on how to see blockages in people that kept them from being free, so I thought it was love and all about healing, because you felt like you were filled with love afterwards.
I did occult stuff for a few years but only for myself. After I became a Christian there were multiple occasions where I had been asleep and woke myself up by praying the Lords prayer. I would see myself sleeping and feel demons around. I start praying and woke up and still praying when I was awake. Always worked!
Around Halloween last year, one night I was closing my eyes and I felt this presence, I saw this demon face in my mind over and over again, and then I started praying to Jesus instantly the scary image left my mind and I forgot what it looked like.

Yes. I had sleep apnea & night terrors. One night Jesus showed me what causes all of that. It's a death spirit. It is trying to kill you. After that night, I rebuked it in Jesus name & it never came back. I didn't even know sleep apnea & night terrors was even a thing until yrs later.
I would be dreaming and have been attacked by demonic spirits in my dream I would struggle with Yelling out the Name of Jesus but would continue to Yell out his name in my dream and I could feel myself saying it out loud as well. But I would always over come it with the help of Jesus and it would go away.

I have a similar story to hers. I was not raised as a Christian. My mom took me to seances at age 12. My whole life I had a lot of paranormal experiences. As a child I heard mean voices teasing me. As an adult I used to perform spells. They worked! I remember the candle flame growing very tall suddenly as I made the spell. yes but I did get ultimately horrible things happening. I’ve heard my name called, heard spirits talking. I’ve seen a shapeshifter. I was obsessed with ghosts and orbs and cemeteries. I was not a Christian. I stopped with all that when I started to see demons when I closed my eyes. I’m a Christian now and agree with all she says and the Catholic beliefs on divination and such. Our God is stronger.

When I was almost 12 years old, friends and I were playing with the Ouija board. While doing laundry. Asking 12 year old girl questions. The board would tell us when the washer or dryer were done. I am 65 so there were no bells and whistles on appliances back in the "olden days" lol. It was right every time. Right when we were getting ready to stop playing with it. It spelled out "No More Mommy" and then repeatedly spelled out "HAHAHAHA". We stopped playing with it all together. I was in a car accident at 13, lost my Mom and my sister's best friend. Demon's do know your future to a certain extent. Surprising, after I lost my Mom I hated God for a while, which I am sure the demons loved. I am a born again christian and was saved from many things including an addiction to cocaïne which would have either killed me or driven me insane... And it happened after I got baptized at the age of 26...!! Goes to show the devil never gives up on his mission to destroy us. The most beautiful thing that happened to me was to be able to witness to my dad just before he passed away; after rejecting God his whole life through, he accepted the grace and salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ... Even if it might have been my only achievement in this life, it would have been worth it!! I also had a confirmation in a dream that very night and it was beautiful... Just to say, I think as christians, we have to be careful not to dismiss all "signs" from being deceiving signs from the enemy... I believe God also sends us warning or blessing through signs, in all kind of shapes and forms ... For exemple when mum passed away, we were standing outside, the priest said a prayer in front of her grave and then asked everyone to be silent for a minute or so... At this point, we all heard what must have been a large number of birds singing very loud.. it was so beautiful...!! I don't think demons would bother doing this, especially considering my mum was saved and loved the Lord....

Two of my cousins and myself “played” with a ouija when we were children - one of those packaged Parker Brothers offerings from the early 1970s. We must’ve interacted with that thing for hours, not really getting anywhere as far as achieving answers to questions or anything of the sort, but looking back on it I truly believe we opened up the door to something. As we entered our teenage years all three of us suffered from the onset of pretty severe depression, particularly in my case. Please do not misunderstand me here, I am NOT saying that all mental illness is due to the onset of demonic activity, but I believe in our case as the bouts of depression were so very similar, and occurring at the same time, I am at least willing to entertain the notion that for us we left ourselves open to demonic attack via using that “game”. It is never more clearer than in the Bible where the warnings are concrete to not question the spirit realm for advice or knowledge. Also, there is no such thing as the reappearance of humans in ghostly form once they have passed, the Bible is very clear here as well that humanity is afforded one life wherein we will all die, and then the judgment. Age 13, I too "played" with a Ouija board and took and interest in occult practices utterly oblivious to the dangers. Extreme danger more accurately. All sorts of "doors" opened which continued to affect my life for the next 40 years. One night, out of sheer desperation I prayed to Jesus and he answered, freeing me from misery and chaos. I strongly suspect Ouijia boards came into fashion, not by accident but as part of the very deliberate plan to enslave and obliterate humanity.
Yeah right, blame a stupid game for depression starting in puberty. Why not ask a psychologist and find the real trigger/problem in oneself when it's much easier to blame demons, ghosts... whatever outside source.

I watched this video yesterday, and what really resonated with me was the sleep paralysis. Had the tall shadow with the hat visit me about 15 years ago and it has terrified me ever since. Calling it a demon struck a chord, because that's what it felt like, but when I would look into it it was just explained away with some scientific jargon. Gaslit.
So I felt really uneasy after watching this, and went home all paranoid with the thought of having been visited by demons on my mind. I even took the Bible into my bedroom with me when I went to bed, which Ive never done. So low and behold I had a bad dream about demons, mostly all I remember is watching a chair being hurled by an invisible force, and me putting my hand up to stop it hitting someone else. I think I woke up at that point terrified, and I could have sworn my hand hurt. Sooo. I grabbed the Bible and opened it randomly at a certain Psalm, and there was a line 'The Lord is my refuge and my fortress. My God in whom I trust'. I kept repeating this in my head over and over. It was weird because I kept forgetting it, and eventually wrote it in my phone so that I could quickly check if I forgot again. I eventually fell back asleep, and my dreams completely changed. Two angels appeared in my dream, in a weird way (honestly, I sprayed some kind of aerosol and the outline of them appeared on my dining room wall like graffiti. Go figure), but I knew it was them coming to me and my husband, I said it out loud in my dream and could feel it. I could swear them communicated this to me without speaking. I woke up this morning and my fear had gone. I discovered a calling to God last year, but have struggled with understanding it and removing old cemented beliefs from growing up in a non religious household. I truly believe God came to me last night, and it was beautiful. Just thought I'd share, because it was really surreal.
Was this your only experience with sleep paralysis? When I was 12 years old I couldn’t sleep and I felt uncomfortable because everyone in the house was asleep and so I walked down the hall to my mother’s bedroom and slept next to her. I woke up later that night and I was completely awake and frozen, but in my ears I heard angels singing. I was in shock and still feeling scared because I couldn’t move, but I remember hearing angels singing. It took a minute and then I could move and then fell back asleep. I would have sleep paralysis quite a bit up until recently and I have never heard anything else or see anything, but I absolutely pray and then I feel relief.

This time I didn't see anything though, I just felt like I wasn't alone with that feeling of terror that you get. It still felt demonic as well, but it doesn't even compare to the first time (the man with the hat was standing on the other side of a large room with a couch and about 6 metres between us. I blinked and he was standing right over me staring down. Then he started learning over me until his dark faceless face was right in front of mine. The stuff of horror movies and nightmares)
I've never heard of an experience like yours. I know that there are several that lots of different people have said happened to them, like the hat man, I wasn't the first to experience that. But never heard of angels singing. That's really interesting, and confusing. Did the angels singing comfort you, like do you believe they were protecting you, or did it still feel wrong?

Thank you Michael for this. I came from a Christian home, but I lost my faith, lost my way. I began to dabble in divination and the the paranormal. Everything this Pyschic spoke about happened to me. I got sucked into the occult thru tarot and Crystal's, then I kept going into oracle cards, pendulums, spells and then I began to experience demonic oppression. At a first feeling of be watched, then noises, the being touched, the dreams with demonic entities and then full blown sleep paralysis with a demonic entity over my bed. And finally, it wanted to attack my baby girl. I called out to Jesus, I fought this being by invoking the name the name of Jesus over and over. It finally left, I got up prayed begged God for forgiveness, Grabbed olive oil prayed over it and anointed my room, my home and the next day I I grabbed, my cards, my Crystal's, anything that was of occult and I burned it in a bonfire behind my home. My mother and her church prayed over me and my daughter. And by the end of the week, the demonic oppression ceased, by the Glory of God.
If a person walked up to me and said they were a psychic and they had something to tell me, I would say no thanks, I'm good.
It wasn't this conversation, but another conversation Michael had with another woman on the same topic is what got me to get rid of my dreamcatcher. It was authentic and made by Native Americans and I purchased it in Yellowstone nearly 10 years ago.
I didn't really think anything about it because I didn't know it's true meaning and usage.

I’ve had sleep paralysis twice. The only way it went away was calling Jesus’s name and then it immediately resolved. One episode it felt like someone was sitting on my chest, very frightening.
I’m delighted to hear similar stories of this sleep paralysis especially from this ex-psychic having the same vision. I had this during my last year at UT-Austin in the late 1990s as an undergrad, a time that I was in the party scene a lot. It was a condo that I shared with a roommate. I was on the ground floor, he was on the 3rd floor. One night, I was awoken to something/someone that slapped my feet pretty hard. My eyes awoke but my body could not move and I could not talk. All of a sudden I saw this black shadowy figure coming from my closet and approaching to the foot of my bed. I tried to yell at it and ask who it was (in a mumbling way) and no response. Then I began to say the Hail Mary repetitively and my body began to regain composure and then the shadowy figure disappeared. It happened a few more times without the shadowy figure….then I graduated soon after and moved back home and NO MORE did I have it! It wasn’t until about 15 years later that I went back to confession, repented of my past life, and returned to the Church (huge load off my shoulders). When telling family members about it, no one had ever heard of this before.

I just had something similar happen. But it was like a double tap with a finger real hard to the top of my leg waking me , scared the crap out of me. I'm darn near 60 & have only had one other thing like that happen in a different house & one night of sleep paralysis in another house & I know I was awake. When I experienced it, I had just woken up, and I had this feeling that someone was in the room with me. I was laying on my stomach, so I couldn’t see them, and I started to move my arms to prop myself up and look.
But then I felt like my whole body was being pinned to the bed, there was a buzzing/vibrating sensation all over, and I could not move my mouth to speak.
I prayed in my head for the Lord to protect me, and as soon as I could move my mouth, I said aloud “Jesus Christ is my Lord and savior.” And the sensations stopped. I was able to move again.
There are secular explanations for sleep paralysis, but I believe that demons absolutely can and do cause it, at least some of the time! Maybe not every single sleep paralysis experience is from a demon, but I believe mine was.
Happened to me too. All I could remember was trying to move my arms and legs butI couldn’t no matter how hard I try. I was screaming but nobody could hear me. I took a deep breath and prayed the Our Father, I stretch my arms to no avail, I still couldn’t move though it helped loosen up things a little. So I call unto the Blessed Virgin Mary for help and prayed a Hail Mary. The moment I said Amen, I straightened out my arms again with all my strength and was completely free with no effort at all, I was conscious and eventually went back to sleep again 😁 Her intercession is really powerful and the devil really fears her. As Genesis 3:15 says, she really crushes the head of the serpent. To Jesus through Mary! ✝️🌹

I worked at a place that was haunted. One of the employees says he witnessed eased a shadow person plain as day walking through the shop there. Not long after, the general manager hired a ghost hunter team to come and perform an investigation. I told him he should reconsider as he doesn’t not know what it is he was dealing with. Strange things would happen at that place but it is now closed down. I hope everyone involved is ok.
My mother and I got involved with a lot of this stuff when I was growing up. I had tarot cards, crystals, we went to psychic conventions, we had psychic reading, I had a past life regression preformed. It feels weirdly nostalgic to me. I was definitely allured by the power aspect. Having this secret skill or ability that other people didn’t have. It’s extremely enticing. I have recently been baptized and I am grateful that God saved me from going further down that dark path. I was definitely being mentally attacked during that time in my life. My mother was a much easier target because of all of the trauma from her past. She was also baptized a few years ago and is now doing much better.

I can relate. It's extremely attractive to the vulnerable, the grief stricken or those wanting some kind of status they can't achieve ordinarily. My mother in her 80's is still heavily into it even though it's done nothing for her in over 30 years. Nothing. She almost kills herself at yoga every week then sits with ice packs and pain killers for 6 days in agony before doing it again. She will not listen to anyone.
@@cincin4515 what kept me in it for so long was that the experiences I had reinforced the new age worldview. My experiences didn’t seem to line up with what Christianity taught. Now I know that I was being deceived by demons. I now know that all ghosts are just demons in disguise. The same goes for alien sighting, or any of those monster type encounters (black eyed children, skin walkers, scary story type stuff) No one wants to admit that they are being deceived. Especially when that person enjoys the feeling of having some kind of special insight that other people don’t. It hard to go from feeling superior to feeling inferior. People are also desperate to have control over their own lives. If God exists then I may have to give up something that I don’t want to give up or confront my past or current sin. Some people will go to great lengths to avoid that.
I came to faith mainly through apologetics because Satan always attacked me with questions that I didn’t know the answer to and one of my biggest fears is being seen as stupid. I knew that I had to believe not only in my heart but in my mind that God exists and Jesus is our savior.
I have learned that a good question to ask a nonbeliever is “If Christianity were true would you become a Christian?”
If they say yes then it may be their mind that needs some convincing and they maybe more open to listening.
If they say no then it’s not a head problem it’s a heart problem. They don’t want it to be true. Usually it’s because of a perceived moral injustice committed by God, Christians, or the Church. Or it could be because they don’t want to change their behavior or lifestyle because they have made themselves the God of their own lives.

Deliverance is needed if you do anything dabbling in the occult. That’s how quick an attachment happens. Attachments do not leave because by you INVITED them in by dabbling. That invitation is a “legal right” for them to attach. They have legal authority from GOD to stay. God is lawful and just. That’s why the first step in deliverance is to first renounce the occult and break all contracts with Satan. Otherwise deliverance won’t work because again, they have a legal right.
Didn’t know it at the time but i lived in this house when i was a teenager, that just felt….off. I had strange dreams and depression and thing i couldn’t explain.
Fast forward 25 years. Having a conversation with Mom, she told me about her experiences in that house. When she was alone in the house, the spirit wiuld speak to her, evil frightening things. Mom thiught she was going crazy. She told her coworker about it, and was surprised to learn that the coworker had the same experience.
One day she was alone and it began speaking. All at once mama done had ENOUGH. She shouted, “Get out! I’ve got God on my side, what have you got? GET OUT!”
It did.
That was when the house started feeling like a house again.
I have had many cinversations of this type over the years. I no longer scoff at the spiritual world. It is real and it longs for our destruction. Praise God, the very NAME of Jesus has power. I can do nothing, but He can.

I haven't told my story in a long time but I now believe in God since he came to my rescue when I needed him most. After 4 miscarriages, in my grief I cursed God and damned him. That night I was recovering and laying next to my husband and I had experienced the sleep paralysis.I could see a black hooded man staring at me. He had long dark hair a pointy nose and dark face. I'll never forget him. I tried to wake my husband but couldn't speak or move. Terror consumed me, I felt like i was being suffocated and like someone was sitting on my chest while choking me. At that moment I asked God to help me and I told him how sorry I was and that I would never curse him again and I told him I loved him. I told him I didn't want to go to hell when I died cause I really felt like death was near. suddenly the man was gone and the weight was lifted and I could move again. My husband woke up a minute later. I cried and cried .I never doubted God again after that. I know he exists. He is real people!😊
Jens story CONFIRMED for me that “spirits” are all demons and psychics speak with the devil. I loved visiting psychics as a teen. In my early 20s I was attacked in bed by, what looked like my deceased sister, whom I let run towards me with open arms, only to watch her face contort to a demonic smile as she/it wrapped it’s large hands tightly around my neck and began to choke me. I cried out to Jesus in my mind and it all just ended in an instant. To add, around the same time, my father was approached by a “small grey looking boy” at the hospital who told him “come with me if you want to see Kristen today”. My father called upon Jesus out loud that day and was covered in peace.

This story creeped me out because since I was a teen-my sister has been doing all that card readings and the like ( she was always right) and also, since teen hood have had horrible dreams where I would either be running for my life or seeing horrible ritual things and even predict some things but my anxiety was the worst it ever was and one day I broke down in tears and prayed to God and Jesus and asked them to free me from my mind and all of sudden I got the thought ' leave the evil of your sister, come to Jesus when you are down and I will help''. So I did ( 5 years ago) and my sister turned from just normal older sister mean to really spiteful and mean. I started to read my bible again and doc got me on pills that helped with my horrible anxiety and vitamin list to continue with and I can say I have not had one more nightmare since.

I can’t fathom wanting to talk to the dead. When our nine-year-old daughter went to heaven, I knew she was in heaven. Yeah her body was still here but she wasn’t. There was not a single moment in time that I would’ve ever considered trying to communicate with her aside from me asking Jesus “will you tell Makenna I love her and I’ll see her soon“. (Now it’s REALLY soon because Jesus is coming back any day now!!!). I think it would be so depressing to try to communicate with the dead because it means you don’t believe in Heaven or hell. I can’t fathom going to single second in my life further without knowing 100% without a shadow of a doubt that heaven is my home and this life is just temporary. God is so good y’all. He loves you so much!! He sent His son to DIE for you so that if you believe in Him….you’ll spend eternity WITH Him! But he lets it be your choice. He doesn’t make you love him. And if you don’t want to love him and believe what he did then it’s your choice to be separated from him when you die. Don’t choose separation because hell is no freaking joke. It’s a nightmare you’ll never escape.

Jesus told the thief TODAY you will be with me in Paradise. It wasn't something he'd have to wait thousands of years for. He said he would go to Heaven that very day. So when a believer dies, he/she goes to be with the Lord in Heaven immediately. That is the point I was making.
I am a former psychic medium - who spent a decade of my life enthralled into the New Age. I identified as a ommnist and I was fascinated with all forms of beliefs and applied all of them. I believed that I Am. We Are. One.
& by the Grace of God one day I was nudged to ask the spirits to reveal themselves in Jesus' name & that changed my whole life.
These beings I was interacting with, that I trusted, has relationship bonds with ; were all demons.
From there I repented for my sins and clinged to the Gospel.
Ironically - I was harassed with demonic dreams, suspiciously kept getting injured back to back to back (under demonic attack from coming to Christ)
I am still going through this process,
Yet finally finally coming through the other side & as I keep filling my mind and my heart with the word of God the devil has been fleeing from me.
