carbon footprints are a way for the large corporations to shift the blame for climate change from themselves to individuals. this isn't to say don't try for be as sustainable as you can, just that the burden for solving climate change shouldn't be on individual people. we have to work together to hold them accountable rather than blaming each other and never focusing on the real issue, that they have money and power and don't want to share it

Oh no.I went to Hawaii. Sorry all. I really loved it there. I did learn that the largest force driving people who live in Hawaii into homelessness and out of the island are rich people buying up all the land and houses. I did find it to be very accessible though. I was able to take my cane with me to the beach. I'm also really bad at sustainability, it feels so overwhelming as a disabled person. I do have a lot of privilege in my disability because I am white. Thank you for chatting on this topic. Yes, a lot of emergency measures forget we exist. I want to brainstorm ways locally to work on this issue so we aren't leaving our disabled community behind when we need to make an emergency evacuation of a building or town. Yes, antis psychotics impact the ability to stay cool. In the summer I sometimes feel very faint while waiting on my buses. Because their are no cooling spots to wait for public transit as a non-driver.

I'm on the autism spectrum and I have ADHD and motor issues. I cannot wash straws properly (therefore making them unsafe) and metal straws can be dangerous for my teeth.
