    Love your wigs I’m in heaven lol. Have you ever worn a wig with tape only in the front and went summer vacation and came off?

    • @JesseMSimons

      No, I've used wig tape before and it didn't come off. I always wear a wig grip cap underneath to secure it as much as possible.

    Thank you for this video. My lace front was cut with pinking shears, so I'm not sure how it would work to put the scar tape on all the way to the front. What do you think? I'm afraid to try it.

    Heyy Jess I have a question, but first of all, I’m sure you’ve mentioned this in previous videos so sorry for making you repeat yourself. Anyway, can you link a synthetic wig brush from Amazon? My wig brush is over 12 yrs old and it’s that original loop brush. It works great for my human hair straight hair wigs and extensions but does nothing for my curly synthetic wigs. I feel like I’m brushing and brushing and brushing my curly hair wigs in the restroom at work trying to get them detangled and nicely brushed but with no result! So I’m thinking I should try using a different brush or something. Just as a note Ive sprayed my curly wigs with waterless conditioner and a lil bit of the blue synthetic spray too so that part has been done. Sorry for the long post😉

      ua-cam.com/video/wt6fo-sn3Vc/v-deo.html here's a video I did on brushes. I also have links in the description on the brushes in the the video. I would get the insect name here brush for a curly wig.

    Great video. Are there any tips on how to make a basic cap "part" look natural?

    • @JesseMSimons
      @JesseMSimons  6 місяців тому +1

      Those are tricky. Usually I recommend powder/plucking sometimes you can make a “false” part look. It really depends on the cap construction though.

    Hi Jesse. I have a weft cap wig that has a non monofilament part, and it looks like the part can't be plucked. So it really looks fake. Do you have a video to fix this?

    Ok so I have a lace front, but it's black lace (Catherine CSC. My scar tape is light/nude. How do I blend a black lace front part?

    • @JesseMSimons
      @JesseMSimons  Рік тому +3

      Use some eyeshadow that matches the roots and apply it to the hair side of the tape it will help with any tacky feeling too.

  • @mollywillow3671
    @mollywillow3671 6 місяців тому

    What if your wig is full lace and has lining under the lace. Should l cut out the lining? Not sure if the tape would go under lining or inbetween lining and lace which would be hard to place.

    • @JesseMSimons
      @JesseMSimons  5 місяців тому +2

      You can remove the lining but that is up to you and depends on the construction of the wig. Otherwise this method might not be the best for that specific wig. You can always send me photos to wigsupport@jmsimons.com and I can help out better.

    I'm thinking to use this scar tape for the lace front of my jon renau wigs, just for comfort. For some reason the lace on this brand of wigs really irritates my skin. Did you find the tape to feel comfortable?

    • @JesseMSimons
      @JesseMSimons  8 місяців тому +1

      Yes the harder lace on those styles bother me a lot too! It helps a ton with irritation. I use it on my Envy and Belle tress wigs for this exact reason! 😊
