Before getting married, Sean had promised Fiona that he didn’t do drugs anymore and that he’s sober. Frank is Fiona’s dad and a dead beat. Fiona does not like her dad, so she did not invite him to the wedding. Fast forward to their wedding day, Frank had found out that Sean still did drugs, and he had a fight with Sean. He decides to crash the wedding and confront Sean in front of everyone/Fiona included because he does not like Sean and wasn’t invited (hence why people in the comments are saying even though he did the right thing, it was for the wrong reason). Fiona was about to marry Sean Pierce, a manager of Patsy's Pies who also fought drug addiction, just like Fiona. Frank, who has always had a complicated and often destructive relationship with his children, decides to interfere in Fiona's marriage because he does not approve of Sean and believes that he is not the right person for her. In addition, Frank has a manipulative nature and often makes decisions based on personal resentments or to satisfy his own ego. On his wedding day, Frank reveals to Fiona, in front of all the guests, including his family and friends, that Sean is still using drugs. Frank discovered that Sean had a syringe hidden in his work closet and exposed this information during the ceremony. This causes a great emotional impact on Fiona, who decides not to marry Sean after this revelation. Frank did this partly because he genuinely believed he was "protecting" Fiona from an unhappy future, but also because he has a pattern of self-destructive behaviour and sabotage, especially when it comes to his family. He can't stand the idea of his children being happy or moving away from his chaotic influence, so he feels compelled to ruin the important moments in their lives. Frank save his daughter from getting hurt by secret her man kept.
That dude ain’t right for her from the beginning I knew
It was both bad and good... She needed to know those things about the man she was gonna marry... Frank made sure she knew before saying I do...Frank can be selfish and all... but he does in his own messed up kinda way.... love his kids....He couldn't let her marry that guy..
He definitely did it for his own selfish petty reasons, but as someone who dated an addict, it was definitely better for her (had she taken it well anyways, we all know she did not take it well though)
ولاگ خیلی قشنگ بود، با ارزوی بهترین ها❤❤
I despise Frank, but what ruined the wedding was facts. Finding out after the fact would have been worse. The heartbreak and depression are part of learning reality. If married, it could not have taken very long to find out the truth as a wife living with him.
It's the biggest reflection relationship you can be in... being with a secret addict... it's like they only tolerated you when they were high. That you're just to fucked up to be sober around....😅😢🎉 yay birthday thoughts lol
Name of the show
She would have became just like frank if she stayed and she knew that
I feel like it was better for frank to ruin it rather than Fi get married to him and find out herself
This woman's entire life is depressing
I've never actually sat down and watched the show but from the clips I've seen what I can gather is nobody in this show is redeemable except probably Carl
Yeah he was being a complete typical Frank!! But, that life was not what she wanted... not with his addiction and the lies. I have been there. Everyone told me the truth after i left! But every single one of them lied to my face daily while i had 11 children in that house half of the time being affected!
This was a total 360 from Cristina in the phantom of the opera
