On ya Vinnie thanks buddy
I saw someone using peroxide because the only thing that would be left over at the end would be oxygen. What are your thoughts on that? I need to clean a quarantine tank that had fish that died from red worms. I want to set up a new quarantine tank for some new fish I want to buy.
PP first, then hydrogen peroxide to normalise it. We also use this to sterilise and restart tanks
Will it discolor the silicone in tank?
How are filters cleaned like HOBS and canisters, are they just allowed to run with the formaldehyde or Potassium Permanganate in the tank?
Yes you run it with the disnfect tank. Keep in mind this will kill all BB as well
Will this kill anchor worms
Unfortunately no. you can use Blue Planet Paracide for anchor worm.
Formalin
has a strong smell
How to neutralize it
How do you remove the potassium pergermate before using it again?
Use H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide)
Great Video! Love from India! ❤🎉
I thought if the tank is empty for 48 hours, it will still contain illnesses?
I still prefer to wipe down if you decide to dry for 48 hrs.
