- this is purely just a storytime about how I did it. NOT ADVICE. why? because it didnt always go well. I have been detained, put in foster homes, been fined, and so much more SO plz dont use this as a guide. IF YOU WANT TO TRAVEL UNDERAGE you must have parents permission internationally, or else it can end poorly (LIKE IT DID FOR ME ONCE). I honestly was just a curious kid with A LITTLE bit of money that would DO ANYTHING, but it wasnt proper. I will make a proper guide one day, about how to do it safely (because there are so many better ways) but for now heres a story time about my childhood. I travelled to bali, canada, the united states, ireland, italy, portugal, the uk, france and so many other places i cant seem to remember!!

Yes it was helpful in the long run ,made her the person she is today and overall had a positive outcome but so many things could have gone wrong... People rarely understand when you know your in tune with your intuition - you know you’re gonna make it work, putting that good energy around you. The universe conspires to make it happen. Period. I loved this story time. There’s a reason Mai is so intellectual, well rounded and independent for her age - because she had to act above her age and figure things out along the way. I just know there are so many young people out there in the same situation that Mai was in before.
Strict parents, little to no money, mental health issues (she's mentioned dealing w/ depression), the stressful uncertainty of not knowing where you're going, and a huge craving to explore the vast world around. It's great when UA-camrs like Mai talk about the journey that got them here because the journey is what it's all about, it's what shapes you and builds the strong character you see on here. So many young people are stuck in that challenging period but it's these types videos that can spark an idea or serve as the inspiration, stepping stone or reassurance that these young people need. A lot of them have no real guidance or a stable support system so this is great. So proud and happy for Mai for being that person for the people who need it.

I just love how she shares every single story of her to us, I think when you were young you can do tons of thing that makes urself comfortable and happier and I think it is a good thing to have a chance to learn a new thing by yourself.
