    Story 2 has me wondering if the guy really was a cop, and the other cops were covering his ass by disappearing - or simply not writing up - the case file. Or the responding officer simply felt the incident was nothing worth bothering with. Either way, it is alarming. And we wonder why serial killers often don't get caught.

      I agree, with y'all. Years, ago on a hot day. I gave a lady, a ride, in my city. She told me a cop, would follow her at night. As she left work, to the bus stop. He was trying to solicit her. She wasn't even dressed provactive. As she got off, I said be careful. I couldn't believe that. But they're are, evil cops too. Ladies, carry bear/pepper spray, some kind of protection.😮‍💨

      I do not get, with all the info about people faking being cops to kidnap people, all the stuff about serial killers and saying to never, ever get in a strangers car, why this women would get in his car. Just why the absolute hell? That got me so frustrated I wanted to explode. Someone would have to drag me kicking and screaming into their vehicle, even if there was a woman driving or in the passenger seat. Just no nononono. I think I was four years old when my mother first hammered the idea of never getting into a stranger's car into my head.

    Get a strike plate for your door! It takes two kicks to kick in the door without one. They're metal, thick, and they come with six 3-in screws. You can get one online or at Walmart, Lowe's, or any other type of store. And I mean everybody if you're scared some one is going to break in your house, buy one!

There were two dudes in their 30s who were acting really sus. When I went to the bathroom I could hear them saying some awful stuff about what they planned to do to us. We were 17. I hope she gets therapy too. She seems to be programmed (as in by conditioned by previous life experiences) to accept or just fail to recognize abusive and downright inappropriate behavior. I mean good gracious she acted like she thought she deserved her boyfriend's treatment, didn't want to get him in trouble, and even once the guy in the truck had tricked her into getting into hiss vehicle, passed the gas station and clearly had bad intentions she was still worried about him just being a normal guy having an "off night." And then when she talked about how she'd heard of Ted Bundy and not to hitchhike but just thought it wouldn't happen to her. Just... Wtf? It's like she thinks, "that won't happen to me and if it does maybe I'm just overthinking it or I deserve it." Just very sad.

      That confused me too. And the said that they "text or messaged that house owners" almost as if they weren't sure which they did

    Story 2: When she said that she didn't want to make get her abusive boyfriend in trouble with the neighbors after he put her out, you knew the rest of the story would be pure idiocy.

    • @supposedlymel
      @supposedlymel Рік тому +5

      it's not idiocy, its the result of recurrent trauma and being in an abusive relationship. who knows what he wouldve done to her if she got neighbours involved, show some empathy

      How could you say this? She was a victim- like???

    • @dahliacheung6020

      Yeah I knew it was going to be a series of trauma based bad decisions and victimization of a young woman whose been with so many abusive men she can no longer appropriately judge behavior. I groaned so many times during that story. It's very sad but at the same time very frustrating. Like a person who dates woman beater after woman beater and you just want to shake them but at the same time you have to recognize that's all they know and all they think they deserve...

    Story 2 made me so mad😭 her getting in the car with the second cop (a stranger ) and letting him take her to her friends just felt like she was setting her self up and the cop asking if she trust him and her saying “yes” ?? Is just wild to me 🤦🏾‍♀️

      And what would you expect her to do? Decline the actual officer on duty sent by dispatch and call an Uber with another potential creepy driver? Maybe her friends couldn't come right then and there...and even if they could she didn't have her phone to call them (remember she asked the creep if she could use his phone) and maybe she didn't knew their numbers by memory to call from the gas station...we don't know all the details...her only mistake was getting in the car with that first creep.

    The first chick should choose either the bf or husband, maybe this dude just wanted to join in the club. The other thing… if your hing can be undone by the outside changing the locks won’t do squat. Maybe he unhinged the door, came in unlocked the door, put the pins back into the door & came back in and re-locked the door.

    Edit: I’d like to know peoples’ thoughts on the guy who said he was trapped in that apartment 🤔was he really held there and she didn’t know it? Was the nurse up to no good or was the guy delusional?

    I'm frustrated with story 2. Douche-bag bf, incompetent victim that made bad decisions one after the other. Glad you survived though, hope you'll exchange your meek politeness for logical thinking in the future.
