    Is there a brake on the mill? I notice it isn't moving when you chain off, which is very handy. Thanks for the demo.

      No, there is not a brake, but there is some built in friction which prevents over spinning

    Whats the reasoning behind using or not using a raddle cross as well as a threading cross?

      The method shown does not require a second cross, the idea is to keep it as simplle as possible.

      Hi and glad you like the Louet warping mill. You can order one through any Louet retailer. mills are in stock and can ship right away. If you need help finding a retailer you can follow this link www.louet.com/dealer-locator . The length of your warp depends on width and yarn so best I can do is give you a range - 15-30 yards is what you can expect. A very narrow warp could get up to 40 yards. Enjoy.
