Russia's vast landscape is a powerhouse in global agriculture. Among its prized agricultural outputs, wheat stands tall as a cornerstone of this agrarian giant's might. In Russia, over 24,000 farms dedicate themselves to the cultivation of wheat. As the world's largest country, Russia's wheat fields are not confined to a single region but spread across vast and varied terrains, from the sun-drenched fields of the south to the more temperate central regions. At 4:49 you say that Russian wheat farms yield 1.5-2.0 tons per acre, but then at 9:23 you say the yield is 1.0 ton per acre. Two very different numbers. Maybe you’re looking at spring wheat vs winter wheat or an average, but you need to clarify if you don’t want to contradict yourself.

yes, it's all a bit strange, my grandfather was a kulak and in the 1930s he had yields of about 6 tons per hectare 😉
