- This is my piano cover of Sound the Bugle from SPIRIT: Stallion of the Cimarron, written and performed by Bryan Adams. This is a beautiful and seriously underrated Dreamworks animated film.
The soundtrack is very special to me as it's one of the very first CDs I bought with my own money and at that stage haven't even seen the film! This song is so incredibly sad and it's my favourite as it's just so emotional. The video I have inserted is the part in the movie where that song actually plays over it. I highly recommend you listening to the original if you like my cover but have never heard the song before!!

If you're from the USA, local Walmarts have it for $10 or under and there's always eBay. 😁
I found a way to fix that, you just take wax and a sock I (used bike wax) and it well not work the first time what you do is take the wax poot a bit on the disc and rub it in tell it looks nice and do it again about 4 to 5 times and then see if it works and if it doesn't do it some more tell it works. And the way this works is wax does no ad it takes away and what you are doing is taking away the scratches. and make sure to ad some forces but not to much, you want the wax to get Reid of the scratches but not so much that you brake it.
i remember taking my little sister to this movie when i was 16 and she was 6. honestly, some parts where so sad i almost cried myself :(
I haven't watched this film in a few years and just looking at that clip and listening to (and playing) the song made me a bit teary too :'(

Why am I crying!!? This was my all time favorite movie as a kid. I miss my childhood.
This is one of the movies I watched constantly, and even though I know what happens, this whole entire scene still makes me tear up. The vocals and the animation work together beautifully in this sequence. I wish Spirit got more recognition, and not just because it's one of my favorite movies, I personally think it's one of the best animated movies of the early 2000's. Dreamworks really did release some stella films in the early 2000's (considering Disney decided to fall into a circle of releasing bad sequels that nobody really wanted). You played the song beautifully!

Underrated ? How? Its literally known to almost everyone. It got loads of great reviews and has a decent imdb rating. It got nominated for an Oscar. This is not the definition of underrated.

I'm glad that some people still apreciate this amazing movie it's my childhood movie and it deserves more fame than this especially since dreamwork decided to destroy the concept of the movie and make a series of it in a more modern version i am disgusted but you are great pianist continue this amazing work.

oh,I love this movie and this song. I wanted to see a piano version before playing it. Ive tried singing it,but can't go do low with the soprano voice and a higher scale seems to take away the power of this song. Honestly,I think it's the best Dreamworks movie ever. I first watched it at 13,from a DVD I came across in a shop,and have watched it over and over again and made my mother watch it too. I'm 20, and I think this was THE most beautiful horse movie ever!

Wow, I didn't know this was made before I was born (birth year is '03), still part of my childhood though. It really is one the most underrated films ever, I've been wanting to rewatch it for some time. But for now, I've been watching a bit of the original Netflix series based on the movie.
