Hell a an on my team got suplexed in a tackle and that was enough for the whole bench on our team to clear the sidelines and go into actual war with the other team.
If this had happened, our game would’ve been cancelled due to our team wanting to do the same thing that day dude did to that player to every single player and even coach on the other team.
Yeah, we are missing something. There is a reason why his own teammates acted like nothing happened. He did or said something that rubbed both teams wrong.
As a former football player on multiple levels whether it be high school, college or even in the minor leagues aka semi pro I have seen this kind of activity and of all the times it has happened severe discipline punishments go right along with these actions. That being said, the administrators who gave this player such a light slap on the wrist. He should have been kicked off the team and never to tryout for football teams in the future.
Estryus Flemming are you stupid or blInd, guy was holding him down by the neck, do you just sit there and get choked out? Is that what you do? Lol. You gotta be joking right? You can‘t legitimately believe that kick was anything else but self defense, right?
@Estryus Flemming its very easy to get you hands up to theit necks. I was a linemen when I played and there were more than a few shots to the neck. If your shoulder pads cover your neck they are too big.
@Estryus Flemming I hate to disagree with you but it's easy asf to get choked out even with a helmet &' pads on (I played so ik how's it's set up &' like) your shoulder pads are strapped &' only come up to your neck when you're either 1. Running or 2. Blocking &' someone's pushes them up. Regardless that kid's in the wrong for that &' a 1 game suspension isn't enough. It's a physical game but that was targeting &' assault, with no questions
The mom should file charges against the other kid and the school district. I played football from childhood to D1 college and what happened on that field was assault plain and simple.
jamie fister thank you. That kid could have easily gave that boy life long injuries. You can’t just slam someone head off the ground. And yes helmets have padding. But I would love for some grown people to go out there and hit head to head and see if it doesn’t hurt there skull. That kid should be for one never allowed to play again, two he should be charged with assault. Three he should be expelled. 💯💯 no school district should want a child like this, around other children in a environment that’s supposed to be safe.
@avery Jordan it’s relevant in more than one way. For one he is stating that, most likely to give other people watching an commenting and understanding from a person who’s played on a high level. Yeah it’s obvious cause we have a video and that’s obviously not how you play football. But doesn’t mean someone is trying to brag cause there stating they played for a d1 college there’s plenty of people in a d1 college that went no where so
This is horrible my heart truly goes out to this mom! Prayers for your family! That one player not only should be ban permanently from all sports in highschool! He should be criminally charged as well for assault! Absolutely not exceptable!
Number 76 is just a big bully. Beating a kid and choking him is not how you play football. They need to kick that kid off the team. He’s probably the coaches son.
End his season if not whole high school career. At least suspended if not expelled. Criminal charges. All those need to happen and I’d suggest punishment for the whole team and coaches as this clearly wasn’t just the one player.
His coach has no balls if he lets this kid remain on the team. When I coached he would have been out of that stadium in 15 minutes. Gone. No suspension. Gone. That's waaaaaay beyond targeting & a 1 game suspension.
I disagree the coach knew exactly what he was doing but he was living out his dreams through his football players because he couldn't cut it as a football player so now he's looking for the big victory so will close and eye to achieve this because after all it's about him he likes being called coach cuz it makes me feel good and it doesn't matter at whose expense f****** bully
If I was this kids coach you best believe that he’s getting more than just the boot of the team….. Granted, if your a coach and you’d o something like that, you would also probably get the boot…….
Get an attorney video proof for criminal charges ..and sueing the school district ..file a police report as well to have record of this ..and go after the family in a civil suit
if you’re a football player you know how hard it is to breathe when you rarely get breaks from running each play. I couldn’t imagine being choked while already struggling to breathe.
Facts bro it sucks when you can't breathe and he's a QB he is out there all the time he has to be tired and than that kid goes out there and chokes him he should be kicked off the team and a penalty for bad sportsmanship bc that ain't right
This leads to issues being settled off the field. The District should be held accountable. Then they will hold the school accountable. Then the school will hold the coaches and players accountable. It's all about accountability and this is seriously lacking in football.
@@jackrodgers8250 I believe perhaps that #76 in the future may yet have an arrest for attempted murder or some other violent crime. Such an inability to control his temper as an adolescent is not a good sign of future emotional or behavioral stability.
😱 OMG how terrible for this family. From going out there to have a good time, then to be chocked. How very sad. I sure hope the mother of the victim press charges, and making sure he's found guilty along the players that were a part of it
Fr, If my teammate saw someone from the other team just give me a slight push after the play they were in the other guys face asap. Idk how these guys could just watch their brother get choked like that. I'm not saying I'm a fighter or a badass, but I'll fight for my brother's. I would of swung at 76.
All of it needs to be slammed on the Head Coach, and the entire coaching staff FIRED. Cowards are everywhere, even in the upper echelons of school districts.
Expulsion but leave it at that. I get the anger and that kid wasn’t playing football and shouldn’t be aloud on the field again but ya don’t have to take that to the cops
Jack Murray you don’t think it’s cuz the kid tackled him then held him down then he retaliated? Mans got tackled by 76 then held down, kicked him in the balls, then got repeatedly thrown into the turf. But wait, earlier in the game he had already been targeted by 76 and another player. I have no idea what is going on in your head for why you are defending that guy, unless you are him
Kevin Steele yes this is awful but the refs did say something, they made number 76 sit out for the rest of the game. They just couldn’t stop the player from playing the rest of the season. It’s awful
Kevin Steele I GO TO UNIVERSITY HIGH SCHOOL. AND I FOUND OUT THAT HE WAS HELPING HIM PICK HIM UP BUT THE KID IN THE GROUND HIT HIS BALLS THATS WHY HE DID THAT
I was a coach and when something like this happened (not as bad as this) I pulled my team off the field and left. I was supported by the parents and ultimately was given a win by the review board. I didn't care about the win, this is a GAME and this type of action I saw on this video was ASSAULT! The coaches and the kid should have been charged for this.
@Crap Shitter hell of a name u got 👍 Have you ever tried the room temperature challenge?? You should try it, I know you'll have a huge support team to back you up.
Something like this happened to my team once and we were also given the win but the other team did not get punished even though they and one of there coaches assaulted one of our players
What I don’t understand is how no one on the team didn’t help, if this was our school or any surrounding schools that would have caused an all outright brawl, we had fights for lot less this was in mid 90’s in west Texas I don’t know how that this didn’t cause an all out war.
Agreed. Any of my players pull this crap, they aren't playing for me ever again. Only had to do it once and the message was well received by my players and the parents
Gunfu Brizzo what are you talking about? What players do off the field doesn’t coralate to being part of football. That isn’t the game, that’s a poor argument.
JAme J tbh I don’t think they noticed what was going on because it took a while for even the coaches to run on and intervene. Still even after the coaches got there I’d beat that guys ass if I was his teammate
JAme J and he's a fucking quarter back I wonder why they targeted him and I honestly don't know why only a coach stepped in after the beating was done that team deserves to lose every game and first round in the playoffs
Where are the kids teammates?!? I mean I play hockey but still.... no team should allow that kind of behavior from an opponent! Stan up for each other man!
Jake Anderson I play hockey as well, if this happened while I was on the ice to a team mate I would jump check him. Or skate as fast as possible and then dive into him
14 kicked 76 right in the balls after the initial takedown. Even with a cup on that still hurts people. If it happened to me on the football field I may have reacted the same as 76 did. Especially teenage me
We are dealing with assault and passing it off as if it were just some kind of overly rough penalty? The kid should have been taken in handcuffs from the field. There are lines you can't cross as a competitive athlete. He would never play sports again in my school district after something like this.
The kid should suffer consequence to be sure. The coach should be straight up fired for allowing...if not encouraging this behavior. The video shows this kid was targeted multiple times by multiple players. That is a coach putting the kid on a hit list.
Oh yes I don't doubt it. I can't believe the nonchalant way everyone ran up to him. In high school I played soccer, and one especially tense game, one of the other team's forwards was schooled by a defender, and the forward jumped on his back and tried to choke him out. He didn't know the defender was also on the wrestling team and he ripped him off his back and flipped him over his head. As soon as we saw the scuffle both team's benches cleared.
Lance Carreras if he did that to your son would you say it’s “just fighting”? That son of a bitch needs charges pressed on him. That’s not fighting that’s down right targeting, bullying, and violence. You don’t choke someone and slam their head on the ground.
@@andrewisrunningwhilevibin4583 That lame excuse is always put out there when there is nothing else, as if it justified anything in the first place. No, your team just has weakling assholes on it with zero self control.

I say ban him from High school athletes for the rest of his high school career, have him attend anger management classes for the next 52 weeks, charge him with assault (2 counts),30 days in County Lockup, 500 hours comunity service in a hospital for patients with traumatic brain injuries, and a $1000 fine, and reparation in the amount of $5000 to the young man he assaulted. Oh, and fire and fine the coach that told him that this kind of is behavior is acceptable, on ANY LEVEL of football. How's that?
That is a gang attack from Multiple players upon one student! She needs to sue the Attackers and the school. Why this was not done is beyond me. This is not football.
If I saw that happening to my teammate I’m taking someone’s head off. Shame on that coward for doing that, if you wanted to have a street fight then take off the pads and helmet. He needs to be suspended for at least the rest of the season and law enforcement needs to be involved, that is a criminal assault, not “football”.
He has some weaksss teammates . If I saw someone on my team getting targeted like that best believe I’m swinging my helmet at anyone that’s on the opposite team
jodyy j you may push him but remember the last time Myles Garret swung his helmet on someone else he got suspended at least you could get a couple of guys on him if necessary
I don’t think the players were focused on that. If you look near the end when he’s getting choked you see the team notice what’s going on and people screaming
Call that poor excuse for an athletic director and tell him how you feel. The number is (254)745-2250. They showed 76 that he can get away with this. There is a difference to playing football and assaulting someone and this was a vicious and thought out attack and it would not surprise me if the coaches planned this. He said he thinks just because they're teens that he should get away with this. No they should be shown that this criminal and unsportsmanlike behavior has consequences and 76 needs the full force of the law thrown at him
a leader leads by example the rules he sets down for his players he should follow himself but in allowing this, it shows the rest of the players that they can also get away with it
Right this happened on my high school team in 08 in front of our sideline and we had like 4 players run in and jump on him but they had to sit out the last 2 games
Exactly, sits out remainder of game and just the first half of the next game... wtf. In my hometown I played varsity hockey and anytime someone either hurt another player or was elected from the game, that player had to go in front of the board of mid states hockey and pretty much beg for forgiveness to even ever play again. HS Football is turning into crap these days, I see helmet to helmet "blocks" with no repercussions, it's getting bad and makes me sick.
You can’t sue the school district or coaches just because something bad happened by somebody else. I mean, I guess you can sue but not successfully. Only way the mother could be successful is by showing that the attacking student was told to attack this mother’s son, and show that the coaches weren’t just telling the attacking student to tackle the boy, but actually to physically.

topgun 145 - Oh, goodness. You really should make sure you’re correct before you start being sarcastic and petty. It really intensifies embarrassed that you should feel. I don’t know if my last couple of sentences are considered rude toward you or not. I mean they’re not polite, but I don’t know if they’re rude. But I mean it, I absolutely mean what I’m telling you. What you’re saying is false and silly. It seems like you don’t wanna listen though, you just wanna spread around like a rooster or typing a silly sentence. But come on, it’s the Internet. That kind of rooster walking around it’s considered a “keyboard warrior“ or a “keyboard dog“. When roosters walk around they think they’re tough and hot sh^t. But there still a chicken that runs and squawks when almost any other animal gets anywhere near it or in the pan. So come on, just stop. But I will make one reply to you with actual facts in case you actually are interested: in most states the schools can’t be sued for not stopping in to a violent situation and even if they can be sued in this state, I would encourage you to look at the video again because they did run out almost immediately when it was clear there was a fight. When the one player tackled the other it just look like it was a normal tackle, it would’ve taken a couple seconds for people to realize there was a fight. And on top of the couple of seconds all the coaches are staring directly at all of the players to instantly see if they’re in a fight. A couple of seconds is more than adequate response time. And so many people believe in the US you can see someone all kinds of money if anything negative happens to you. That’s not true. And it’s especially not true that the citizens can sue public government organizations. One caveat I will state is technically anybody can sue anybody for any amount of money, but then the other side commit for a summary verdict for a dismissal of the case. And it will be granted. So of course when I mentioned a lawsuit I’m speaking about a lawsuit with any reasonable rate of successfulness. And again, remember, save your sarcasm for when you were actually correct. But when you’re correct you don’t have to be unnecessarily sarcastic and silly. Best wishes.
This kind of behavior is always encouraged by a coach!!! Win at any cost mentality. GO AFTER THE COACH OF THE OFFENDING TEAM!!! Multiple players targeted one kid.
If anybody did anything like this to a quarterback on your team you all better take that suspension and stomp the ever living hell out of him... Not saying violence is the answer, but this is definitely a fight fire with fire situation. obviously the officials weren't doing their job there is only so much you can take as a team!
Exactly what I am saying. I love hockey and I would be that player who gets suspended for a brutal revenge hit after a hit on my teams star player or any player. This is no different. After I would've seen him not getting off of my teammate I would've charged off of the bench and beat him into oblivion
That’s what I’m saying. If this was my team we would’ve absolutely pounded that dude. If not right then as soon as he stepped back on the field you know we’re going straight for his head. Not saying it’s right, but that’s what that kid deserves
it is unbelievable that that kid is even still on the team. Behavior like that should warrant immediate removal from the team, and a lengthy suspension from school. the mother needs to have charges pressed, have that kid arrested and make sure it goes on his record, and then sue the hell out of the school district.

Neither the players nor the coach should have ever been allowed on a football field again, but unfortunately this in Texas. Going against the high school football establishment there can get you fired-or worse!
The real tragedy is how this incident was handled. A significant suspension- if not expulsion- from SCHOOL should be on the table as a bargaining chip to ascertain information about the targeting. Even said, there's no way that kid should be playing sports. He's lucky to even be in school.

He should be kicked off the team all together. And charges should be brought up for assault.

Right this happened on my high school team in 08 in front of our sideline and we had like 4 players run in and jump on him but they had to sit out the last 2 games
I think they were trying to get the tackle on kickoff and didn’t realize what was happening but maybe I’m wrong
@@carterphillips2226 you're wrong
I know some guys who have gotten 5 game suspensions for helmet to helmet. What the heck is this?
They got a slap on the wrist for doing all that to the kid?!? Hope the parents take them all to court and make their future HELL!
That's a little extreme for some freshmen
Ya!! True!!!
Didn’t look like any type of football I was ever taught in high school or college that’s straight up looked like a back alley attack on a person.
That's BS she needs to sue that school and each official. her kid was clearly targeted and may suffer damage well into his adulthood.
He
@@hishamalsraji3421 i think they were talking about the kids mom
You can’t sue the school district or coaches just because something bad happened by somebody else. I mean, I guess you can sue but not successfully. Only way the mother could be successful is by showing that the attacking student was told to attack this mother’s son, and show that the coaches weren’t just telling the attacking student to tackle the boy, but actually to physically.
@@iMatti00 last time i looked choking someone is assault or attempted murder so that kids mom would win by a landslide because of the schools administrators at the game did not stop that kid when they saw him choking that kid right away so you need to stop smoking that weed so you don't go 100% idiot its not to late to stop
topgun 145 - Oh, goodness.
Exactly sometimes you need to fight, it blows my mind people can’t see that.
Lmao idiots like you are why I love reading comments thank you
@Sean S. I had a good laugh seeing you flexing your e-muscles scrub. You seem mad about something. Is it because you know how pathetic you really are and are trying to make yourself feel like a bigger man by insulting peeps on UA-cam? Why don't you take your puffed up ego and pick on someone in person. Stop hiding behind the internet and man up son. Also, learn how to spell fool. That county jail GED doesn't mean anything lmao.
MrDirtyDeedz don’t see anything spelt wrong to me
Sod Laflare whats so messed up about his comment? seems about right to me. id like to hear some specifics from you thay shows this guys comments are as stupid as you say. i dnt see anything wrong with his comment at all.
MrDirtyDeedz your doing the exact same thing stop being such a hypocrite your worse then he is.
Oh hell nah, if I were to see that happen to my teammate I would've took out his knees that's bs
Bruh if I saw him do that I'm kicking that kid in the helmet then when he's out I'm stomping his knee it pops. #76 would never walk the same again.
If somebody did that when I played. I'd drill the mf while he was on top of him, take my helmet off n start beating him with it. He wouldn't play football again.
Jayden Arnold honestly if I saw that. We going out for blood. I mean that’s straight up awful. Kid should never see the football field again. And worse punishments should be happening too
He won't even know where he live after me
100 Percent !!! Thank God The Coaches saw and started running to Save this Poor kid. All the Players Involved should be kicked off the Team and be held accountable for their actions in Criminal Court !!!!!!!
How in the hell did the refs not eject him the first time he did that he should not play ever again
Joshua Houston you’ve never played football have you. Holding and shoving after the play is a normal thing. He’ll it’s a every play thing. Only thing that was extreme from a normal game was the punches and head slamming. Other than that, that was almost every football game I was in.
@@mrmidnight32 Not to mention to choking he had his hands wrapped around his neck! Never seen that happen in games before
@@mrmidnight32 dude you must be a moron, you say "yeah everything seems normal,... except for the choking and head slamming" that's what everyone is pissed about man. Don't make it seem like this was something normal that got out of hand. Have you ever played before. Then you know during games teams can and will gang up on one player to try and hurt him, usually they know the kid and it's intentional.

This the athletic board's number for the school. I encourage everyone to call and voice their opinion on this incident and player #76
In Georgia that thug would’ve been led off the field in handcuffs.
The rest of his team is a bunch of cowards... because that kind of activity would’ve led to a brawl like never seen before around here.
That's because Georgia arrests people for anything
Same here in NC. That was assault and the kid should have been arrested.
Thats because people are "bout it" here in Ga.!
former pilgrim I woulda gone so agro on that guy if it happened to my team, anyone on it
Right! I would've been swinging for my QB
Football is a violent sport, but that's not football, thats assault.
Right
Thats regular football. Its called let the play and handle their own differences
@Greg are you serious? He CHOKED him, and continuously slammed his head into the ground. For a block like that, just hold his shoulders down til the play is finished.
SailorsGrave73 actually that’s battery
Um the kid on the bottom kicks his nuts lol. Ida smashed him 2
Neither the players nor the coach should have ever been allowed on a football field again, but unfortunately this in Texas.
Kid looked like a psychopath slamming the other kids head into the ground. Probably has some mental problems like his POS parents do. Sad.
it's not really reasonable to blame the parents without knowing anything about them. Kids have other influences too.
@@paulwettstein7071 parents are the first line of defense though. If they succeed as parents their kids wouldn't be affected by other influents. Kids are what they learn and if parents teach them not to be influenced by peer pressure or friends. They turn out fine.
Wow so 76 sat out the rest of the game and the FIRST HALF of the next game as the qb sat out 3 games due to a concision 76 should've been expelled tbh
Omni God the kid should of gotten a lawsuit for this.
True some type of investigation should be pursued too tho before that cause nobody just goes after someone like that i personally think there was a coach or someone that got into that kids head to have him do that
Oh nvm i thought u said like a prausicution or something like that but yeah there should definitly be a lawsuit
Wow and i just saw that the waco athletic director said he was "satisfied" with the punishment, now i most definitly feel there was some backround stuff happening
@m crouch this isnt something to joke about the kid was injured learn some self control before you comment next time
That fact that they let number 76 to continue to play after the assault and unsportsmanlike conduct tells me that the refs were in on it too. The refs and coach should be FIRED and number 76 should be banned from football !
Curtis Reid "glad you know that"
They said he was ejected and ineligible to play the first half the following week. Did you watch the video?
@@donrowley100 yes and that is a bs punishment. He shouldn't be allowed to play anymore at least for this season.
That freaking kid should be banned for life!!!! That's not football that's free rain Assault!
Grow some balls. Kid shoulda been tougher just like you should be.
