Black people saved hollywood but they hide that fact. In the late 60's hollywood went bankrupt. It was the black films of the 70's that saved them. The 10 year run we had in the box offices made them the money they needed to bail themselves out. And that's why, If you notice, towards the end of the 70's you started to see big budget films like Star wars, Indiana Jones, Close encounters with the third kind, etc.. And of course they didn't need us after that, and this is why you didn't really see anymore black films. That was the thanks we got, and look how they degraded us in film since...

Ive been a fan of Shaka’s work ever since Newlyweeds, and I met Brother King when he was in Los Angeles at a music show, in which we were both mutual friends with the performer, and I was so happy to have told him how much of an inspiration he was to me as an aspiring filmmaker, and he looked me right in the eyes and said “Thank you, brother.”
I felt extremely elated and I was so honored to just have a conversation with him about Fred and what his intention was with this film, and I knew even then he was destined to do amazing work. And now it shows, so thank you Shaka! 🙏🏾 🙏🏾🖤🖤

They do the same to her as well. I noticed they cut her off or overtalk her during rumor report. They can all do better, honestly. A show of that magnitude should have better production or presentation of their hosts (timing, pace, preparation, etc.). That said, I'm trying to extend grace for the lag in time, Zoom and audio, tech glitches in a pandemic world! 😂

And Angela needs to stop interrupting and cutting everybody off with her questions
