Gotta say, you have grown a lot during your time as a youtuber. The fact that you can accept, see and reflect on your past opinions is amazing, mad respect. Also, I'm very happy you included Mateus since he's one of my all time favourite battles, together with the Dark Aeons and the Seymour battles from X
I must say, I'm both mildly surprised and happy that you put Kuja on here. Kuja's usually left in the shadow of Sephiroth and Kefka when it comes to villain popularity among the FF fanbase, but Kuja's actually more badass than either of them. Sephiroth burned a village to the ground but failed in destroying a planet since the Meteor took too damn long. Kefka broke up a planet's continents. Kuja blew up a whole fucking planet in about two minutes.
+MaverickHunterZero75 Kind of sad that FF5 didn't get any love on this list but then again, not 1 per game rule, your list and most of the bosses were pushovers. Final boss i'll agree was kinda bland but ok in my eyes. Would probably go down to super bosses or maybe atomos for being one of the more challenging main bosses (seriously comet and auto haste? it hurts even when i get to lv 34 before the fight and cast shell on my members). I think neo shinryu (FFV advance) would be a nice honorable mention tough, as he is one of the few bosses that has huge array of attacks (mostly multi hit attacks but also covers a lot of different elements and status effects as well. Also find the 2 hidden targets a unique ability although enuo kinda ripped it off later on.). And yes i know dragon lances completely wreck him but you have to grind them and they are kinda unreliable steals to get too.
+ClefairyRox Kefka did not merely break up continents. He eliminated cities such as Vector and Narshe wiping out their whole populations, basically poisoned the world so that animals and plants would die, unleashed ancient evils all over the planet, and only became more powerful from there. He had the world at his feet, and even one of the protagonists worshipping him. In contrast, it is never confirmed that Kuja destroyed an entire planet. How large do you think the blast radius from his Ultima spells really was? Rather, he did destroy the Terrans and damaged the immediate vicinity enough so that the portal could not be entered. But if he destroyed the whole planet it must have been a very small planet indeed.
+David Timmer oh that's not the half of it. essentially, the ENTIRE game, the emperor counters your every move, starting with destroying the main characters' hometown, and summoned an army of demons to ensure that his plans were easier to accomplish. In fact, at least according to tvtropes, he's probably among the smartest, if not THE smartest, villains the franchise.
+David Timmer ergo, probably one of the most underrated villains in the series. After all, he is pretty much Chuck Norris: "So you think you can kill me in this fight and send me to hell? Then I'm gonna kill the devil, take over hell, and come back to kick your ass!"
Dialask Isel and as the video said, in the DS remake he not only took over hell but ehaven as well, because he was so evil he was split into two halves...and both halves were evil!
+Dialask Isel And then once you beat him,he be like: "Oh, so I can't even win with the power of hell?! Fine! I'll ascend into heaven, absorb God's power, and THEN murder your sorry asses!! MUAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!! >:D"
+gallantmon8 He also did the voices of Kimahri and Wakka. I also think he did the voice of the innkeeper in FF12 from the first city, the person who like a mentor to Vaan and the other one, can't remember his name without searching though
Somehow I saw the number 1 coming.. Don't know why, don't know how, but I'm happy. I'm glad people finally recognize Kuja for who he is, and see him as a competitor for best villain amongst the likes of Sephiroth and Kefka. For real though, Kuja is the best villain. You never beat him, and he would have destroyed all of existence if Necron didn't show hig ugly face.
I don't know much about Final Fantasy but I always thought Sephiroth, Kefka AND Kuja were in the running for best villian. I have only played through World of Final Fantasy, FF7 (Sephiroth has always had my vote), and Dissidia. All 3 of them have always had interesting personalities, motives and designs to me.
I think FFII is a real gem when you think about it : for an rpg THAT OLD, it did a lot of good things. It's not perfect, but it gives life to the characters
I like what you are showing of Final Fantasy, mind blowing enemies and sceneries, and a well related and funny narration, this is what I search when I'm looking for rpgs videos, there aren't many videos like these though. I generally hate youtubers gamers intros, but yours is great too. The edition of the tops is also atractive. Heh, maybe we have similar tastes about visual design and edition lol, anyway, great job :)
I started watching this video in hope to see Kuja somewhere in it, and when the N°1 place came, I held my breath...and then I FREAKING SCREAMED. YES. KUJA IS GREAT. And he's my favorite FF villain too. Nice to see someone else who thinks the same!
You ever thought about doing a top 10 primary antagonists in Final Fantasy? It'd be interesting to see who you think were the best bad guys in terms of story, motivations, boss fight(s), etc.
I'm glad you didn't put Sephiroth or Kefka at number one. I honestly don't feel they're as good as the ones you pointed out. My fav fight with Gilgamesh would probably be from 13-2 because he starts of by breaking the fourth wall and then he's an insane challenge while not being a bad kind of insane. It's more of a keep on your toes and pray to God you correctly predict the Divider if you aren't able to skip the final phase
+Flaming Gilgamesh Yeah, I think Divider hits one character for 8000 or so damage and merely weakens the other two, hence the name of the attack. Divide and conquer is what it does.
***** Should he be the final boss? No! But really,Necron doesn't deserve that much hate...The boss fight wasn't bad aside from zombie-ing you and killing you, making you need to have zombie healing items and THEN reviving your party members....also quick question,is Barthandalus in the worst FF bosses?
+MaverickHunterZero75 A: he isn't memorable B: He comes out of nohing C: The ending was changed about 7 times.. D: the original final boss it the optional boss Hades (in memoria) E: Only Grand Cross was memorable F: WTF?! G: He stole Kuja's spot light H: Where was his meaning? I: "He vowed to return" J: ..Trance Kuja puts up a better fight.. (on and on and on) I say Necron was a result of too much ending changing. Because they rushed it.. his battle got scaved down. Everything from FF9 is great.. the ending falls appart as it was too much times remade and given to other teams. (yes just the ending!)
kotlolish Is it weird that i remember him for being unmemorable? And because of all that bitching everyone does about him....Look,as i said before,he is death, giving them another chance on survival should they beat him..."But it doesn't say so in the game"well it symbolizes it...as much as i hate things like "That part is really weird so it TOTALLY symbolizes how crazy he is in the head",this one is really obvious
OnionKnightZero same! I just didn't like how he spammed grand cross but I beat him somehow my one guy managed to live with 150hp and when I casted flare one last time he was defeated
I'm glad you put Kuja on here though I didn't expect him to be #1 honestly. Final Fantasy IX was my intro to the series and Kuja remains today as one of my favorite villains in the series. I'm surprised though that you didn't mention though that in the end. Kuja is possibly the only current villain in the series that realizes everything he did was wrong and learned what it truly meant to be alive.
Kefka stages also represents a journey from hell to heaven #1 is Satan #2 is purgatory #3 is the surface and humans #4 is heaven with kefka being god slash angeal
Remember when I first beat Zeromus. I'd already had to use Pheonix from Kain, and everyone else but Kain had died. He jumped RIGHT before Big Bang hit and killed everyone else. Then, with a Darkness boosted Jump- He killed Zeromus at 8 hp! as a reward I immediately gave him Limit Break. And that is why I absolutely love using Kain- alongside a lot of other cool wins and the usage of Pheonix
First time facing off against Trance Kuja, my brother and I killed him with a physical attack from Vivi. The rest of the party had just suffered from a multitude of spells, but the little guy pulled it off. It was epic.... and then they introduced Necron....
+MaverickHunterZero75 OK I just came here form your top ten worst final fantasy boss battles, and this is the second time I heard this intro.........I LOVE IT!
Sephiroth also has the best final boss music in the series, and the biggest "WTF WAS THAT S***?!?!" ultimate attack. Dude. Just, wow. Even for a final boss's ultimate attack, Supernova is some MAJOR overkill.
I read somewhere that Safer Sephiroth is actually a mistranslation, like Aeris/Aerith. It was actually meant to be Seraph Sephiroth. Looking at his design, and the battle theme "One Winged Angel", it makes sense. :-)
Good list. I was surprised that Sephiroth or Kefka didn't make number one, though considering your opinion on Sephiroth's final form, so felt it reasonable that his spot would get hampered. Also, Necron disliked this.
My faverouite final fantasy bosses: 1) The guy with the sword 2)the guy with the magic 3) the monster thingie 4)the machine 5)the guy who was good but then turned evil 6)my waifu 7)the dragon 8)the very big dragon 9)the demon 10) GOD
Let me get this straight: 1. Cloud Strife 2. Jade Curtiss 3. Monster Energy Drink 4. HAL-9000 5. Anakin Skywalker 6. Lucina 7. Bahamut 8. Very Big Bahamut 9. Jack Frost 10. Nonspecific Creator Entity #128 Is that it? Did I get them all?
Love seeing RWBY in the intro :3 And Nectron, while being entirely random, was still another fun and challenging boss, with another great theme. And considering that you are basically fighting what seems to be death itself to regain the chance at life after Kuja killed you, its better than people want to say
+MaverickHunterZero75 I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO YOUR INTRO SONG!....I LOVE THAT SONG!...........IT'S BEAUTIFUL!.....................I am curious what website did you download this off of?.and is it free?
First off, I agree with you on your thoughts of Zemus/Zeromus in FF IV - he's a royal pain, even in the PS One version (in the mentioned version of said game, I had Edge use the Crystal as he was the quickest; if Rydia wasn't at Level 64 in said version the party was toast). Also, it's refreshing to see that you put the main antagonist from FF II on this list, as there are people who either don't like that entry or aren't as aware of it. In the PS One version of that game, I actually killed the 2nd incarnation of the Emperor in 1.25 (not a typo) after building them up well, as I had 2 Blood Swords & the Emperor did some odd move that did nothing to the party (it's been forever since I played it).
I think Maverick mentioned he hasn't played much of VIII. (my personal favorite boss in that game is probably the second Edea fight because of plot drama, or maybe the final Seifer battle because he puts up a good fight (and because it's so satisfying to smack that arrogant, condescending, traitorous jerk in the face. GET RENZOKUKENED, SWORDCOAT))
AsterOrca Honestly the entire final battle is the best. Maybe I'm just blinded by the amazing music but yeah, fucking loved the final battle with Ultimecia. The sorceress you fight on the moon (I forget her name) was a cool fight to lead on from Seifer.
***** Oh, right! I was just excluding the final boss since that's how most "top ten *insert franchise/topic here* bosses" operate. The fight against Ultimecia is a pretty good one, too (albeit a little frustrating when she starts erasing your magic), and the phase where you fight Griever is really epic (and, of course, the music pieces in each phase are very iconic). By the fight that was a lead-on for Seifer, do you mean Adel? She always gave me a ton of grief, but one gamer's bane is another gamer's thrill. But if you mean the fight against the unnamed sorceresses once you start traveling to the future, which is one of the most bizarre but interesting multi-phased normal bosses I've faced, then that makes sense.
***** Oh boy...I remember the first time I fought her, I beat her after the 20-something tries, but then I lost to the next boss because I forgot to switch out a severely underleveled Zell for Rinoa (who is my go-to mage, also explaining another bit of my struggle with Adel) and then got smacked by Ultima before I could get some shells up, and the save circle before that boss glitched up, so I had to fight Adel all over again...I estimate that it took me 43 tries in total to beat Adel on my first playthrough, accidental retry included.
As I've understood the final match of Sephiroth and Cloud is mainly metaphorical. After being defeated, Sephiroth resorts to trying to take control of Cloud like he successfully did before, and the fight is just Cloud resisting and overcoming his Jenova "curse". Final Fantasy seems to like to have those kinds of battle scenes.
+MaverickHunterZero75 good list, but you know what is missing on the channel? A Bravely Default list! I'd say you do a list on either the bosses or the job classes (because there is A LOT of them!)
I approve of your #1. Kuja is my favorite villain as well. Very, very nuanced character. Excruuuuciatingly EASY final battle against him though. It's why they had to make Necron so hard.
I think there's two bosses from Final Fantasy 6 that deserve a special mention, even though Kefka is definitely the best boss fight in the game. First, Atma Weapon (mistranslation, I know, but it's cooler than the real name). Right off the bat I have to say it has one of the best monster designs I've ever seen, and that definitely works in Atma's favor in the context of the fight. It's the first boss in the game (aside from opera house Ultros) to use something other than the regular boss music, and that along with its pre-battle speech and enormous size gets you to expect hell before it even attacks. When it does attack, it delivers on its impressive initial intimidation with powerhouse moves like quake, mind blast and flare star. It also has way more HP than any other boss up to this point, so you have to put up with Atma's brutal attacks for quite a while. When you eventually pull through and Atma dies, the satisfaction of beating an ancient superweapon can actually be felt. The second boss I think deserves some attention is Guardian in Kefka's tower. The gimmick of the boss taking movesets from previous bosses is noteworthy by itself, but what makes the fight for me is what Guardian was to the player before the fight. Until the encounter in Kefka's tower, this thing was UNSTOPPABLE. Every time you were unfortunate enough to encounter Guardian in the first half of the game, it would annihilate everyone and you couldn't even scratch it. You could beat the Empire's magitek armor, you could prevent their armies from taking Narshe, but no matter what you did the Guardian's presence would mean your only option was to RUN. But now that you've faced the end of the world and gathered the determination to stand against Kefka, you're now strong enough to finally beat the formerly invincible mech. The fight demonstrates the growth of the characters without any need of dialogue.
Gilgamesh also makes a return as a boss in FF TYPE-0 and in the HD remake. And in that one, he's wielding a weapon that looks like Garland's sword from Dissidia. It doesn't change shape, but it's still does serious damage. It's also a more Serious take on Gilgamesh's character. Even after you beat him in the main story, you can fight him again to get a character's Ultimate weapon.
When talking about zeromus there is but one thing i truly fear, those big bangs followed up by maelstorm, when your whole team is affected by sap and has less than 10 hp you know you are pretty much screwed
Wow. This was an amazing countdown! I've never played a Final Fantasy (Too bad), but still have time to enjoy it! Hey Maverick! What game do you think is a good way to start?
+MegaNinten 007 I think that FF7 or FF6 is a good way to start. My first ff game was FF7 and I loved it. I think that FF6 isn't as good as 7, but it's amazing as well. I still have many ff games to play though, I completed FF3, FF5, FF6, FF7 and FF9.
Hey maverick I have a question Which final fantasy character do you want in the new super smash bros game? I’d choose black mage because well he’s just so COOL. But still great video
10. Oh look a baby Metal Gear rex. :D 9. AlphaOmegaSin: *sigh* man I like Fan service sometimes *click* Yeah. XD 8. God Dam some mage has been Taken some Steroids. O_O 7. Oh look it's Lex Luthor if he was an evil Ruler of Both Earth and Hell. XD 6. Oh look it's the anti-Buddha. XD 5. Let's just hope the Remake will not Fuck up the Final phase of Sephiroths boss fight. 4. Oh look it's the Final Fantasy Version of the Clown Prince of crime. 3. Oh look the FF version of The Emperor Palpatine. :D 2. Oh hi Alex. XD 1.I"m just a sweet transvestite. (sorry I couldn't resist) XD Good list as always Mavrick. ;)
So...the funny thing is that I first heard Kuja's boss theme in Sonic RPG episode 8, fighting Seelkadoom, a combo of Sonic and Shadow. So yeah, still fitting
I'm surprised you didn't mention the best part of fighting Seymour On his, summoning his mother, Anima and he says "you would oppose me as well? Then so be it!"
Kuja has a high (50%?) chance to counter with flare star, if you accidentally time several attacks wrong you can face flare/holy and flare star hits at once or even two flare stars, and if I remember correctly Eiko at certain levels can actually be one shotted from full just from it.
It never fails, whenever Sephiroth is not considered the best, I'm always like, "WTF?!". But every time Sephiroth is not considered the best, it never fails for the successor's being justified in their place. In other words, I'm with ya. Good list, going to go watch the second now. Let the good times roll.
so, if you've taken a look at Final Fantasy XIV since this vid, would any of the fights have the potential for an honorable mention? they've done some fantastic work on the classic summons and fights to make them unbelievably good fights. personal favorites go to The Minstrel's Ballad: Thordan's Reign, Royal Menagerie, and Containment Bays
In your top ten worst ff bosses video you described ff3 as having a bizarre job class system. Can you explain? It's simplistic yes but what's so hard to grasp about changing your class when you want?
I love the first fight with Barthandelus from FFXIII actually. People find it hard, but that's because they don't attack him when he casts Desrudo. Otherwise, it's challenging, requires good paradigm knowledge, and doesn't feel unfair. I love battles that made me use the Paradigm system well... *has flashbacks to the battle with the Falco Velocycle and PSICOM Air Snipers*
+The Phantom Fedora oh sadness I was hoping it was the game on ps2 or just finding some other way to make it look like that as I do own a a actual copy of IX
Necron may be Death itself, whom Zidane has to fight in order for the people killed by Kuja to resurrect, or maybe another form of Kuja himself, who knows.
Lamia queen is my favorite boss in ff2. Hilda urges Frion to sleep together and the color of the screen turns pink. Swan Lake plays...Frion completely deceived and said "gulp..." But Hilda turned out to be fake so he really was disappointed and got very angry. (This serif revealed him to be green lol.) Then his allies rapidly hurried to there as if they've seen the series of events. And the battle was to start with viorent music...I loughed.
Actually its implied in FFX that people dont HAVE to be sent by summoners to reach the Farplane. If the person accepts death, then they can ascend to the Farplane on their own. As Yuna suggested the fate of Tidus' mother. Also, they should have had Cloud end the battle with Sephiroth with Omnislash regardless of what happens. If he gets hit first, they should have had him counterattack with Omnislash instead of just a regular attack.
I think the Warmech kind of fits in in the original game. After all, didn't Garland decide to mess up time? I mean, he could've easily pulled something from the future to guard him.
ITS AN ANCIENT FLYING FORTRESS that u teleport to we can breathe under water and fly on a boat and u can even pull a log cabin out of your pocket to build on a canoe but yeah a robot is out of place 😉
i remember in the remake of ff2 when you play as minwu and co. i was so under leveled since it was my first time playing ff2 i didnt know they would die in the story lol. the grind was real.
I'm not sure if this is a glitch or part of the game buuuuut... when I beat the first 3 stages of Kefka, instead of lifting into the sky, the game just faded out and ignored the final fight altogether. Any ideas? Also, the Kefka tower fight wasn't tough either. I'm getting the feeling Final Fantasy isn't very hard.
As FFIX is my favorite main series FF that I've played as well, I'm really happy to see Kuja on there. Aside from the boss fight, what was your favorite part of FFIX?
fun fact: Kuja's 'Flare Star' is actually a slight translation error to English. What it actually translates to is, "No Vivi, NO!!!"

Kuja is pretty badass.
But ya see, all Kuja's actions were undone. Kefka managed to destroy the whole world, nothing was brought back to how it was before.
Whoa, The Emperor does have a good villainous resume
+David Timmer oh that's not the half of it. essentially, the ENTIRE game, the emperor counters your every move, starting with destroying the main characters' hometown, and summoned an army of demons to ensure that his plans were easier to accomplish. I just realized something. He's evil Kratos.
I didn't actually know that John DiMaggio voiced Gilgamesh in FF12...Yet ANOTHER reason why that game needs more love!
+gallantmon8 He also did the voices of Kimahri and Wakka.
I also think he did the voice of the innkeeper in FF12 from the first city, the person who like a mentor to Vaan and the other one, can't remember his name without searching though
Migelo
+gallantmon8 I facepalmed when he said that , i never beated Rubicante ( played only the DS version ) , now i can easily beat him XD
I imagine him singing the bacon pancakes song.
Yeah, played FF12 on PS4. And it is my favorite FF!
Somehow I saw the number 1 coming.. Don't know why, don't know how, but I'm happy. I'm glad people finally recognize Kuja for who he is, and see him as a competitor for best villain amongst the likes of Sephiroth and Kefka.

I have only played through World of Final Fantasy, FF7 (Sephiroth has always had my vote), and Dissidia. All 3 of them have always had interesting personalities, motives and designs to me.
Don't forget of sending his mother Anima against Seymour, that makes it even more epic.
lol I remember doing that, poor Seymour but he deserved to have his mom stop him.
Exdeath on the thumbnail, but not on the list? I hate false advertising
Exdeath's probably a honarable mention
Trance Kuja is also my favorite boss in the Final Fantasy Series as well.
Definitely one of your better lists

Semolous Van Dess Most Notably Draken From Kim Possible.

shiiet, great channel man, keep it up! :)
I'm watching this a week after the FF Puzzles and Dragons Collab, and I notice so many references.
Awesomecountdown BTW.
Kefka's battle music, dancing mad, also known as, the best final boss music in gaming
that moment with tidus was so freaking funny haha i subbed :)

cameraREDeye hahahaha I've had it hit for 20k+ even on *my* gilgamesh with 14k health he still drops instantly
I don't think Necron is the villain in FF9...i think Necron is death himself, giving the party one last chance at survival, should they beat him
+Cursedwind Never said Necron was the villain. I said he was the final boss (which he does a terrible job as).

I was about to say something, but then #1 came along. then I clapped in excitement.
First time facing off against Trance Kuja, my brother and I killed him with a physical attack from Vivi. The rest of the party had just suffered from a multitude of spells, but the little guy pulled it off. It was epic.... and then they introduced Necron....
+Joachim Vorbech Christensen But still, the final boss of FFX was even worse. You fight a tick, and it is impossible to even die in this fight!
lol that tidus part😂😂😂
+MaverickHunterZero75 OK I just came here form your top ten worst final fantasy boss battles, and this is the second time I heard this intro.........I LOVE IT!
final fantasy 9 has some REAL GOOD boss music. It's so good.
OH man i wish i could join you on the countdown. xD
All of these bosses look super epic! Especially the top 3. All this tells me is I really need to start playing Final Fantasy 🙂
Sephiroth also has the best final boss music in the series, and the biggest "WTF WAS THAT S***?!?!" ultimate attack. Dude. Just, wow. Even for a final boss's ultimate attack, Supernova is some MAJOR overkill.
Yeah! Rubicante is also my fav boss in IV, and I love that he's voiced.
...yep...years later still miss this intro....*Sigh* memories.............
I'm sad you didn't mention General Beatrix :( but great video!
Shit Bhunivlse should be up here, hardest non superboss I ever fought.
wiseguy240 Winston i agree with you he was nearly impossible in hard mode.
Gilgamesh is the Deadpool of Final Fantasy
Deadpool wishes he could be like Gilgamesh.
What do u think about the hidden superboss of Final Fantasy IV "Proto-Babil"? :D
MrButternuss one word: Pain
More painful that the boss who taanks 9999s alot, then lowers the damage to 6999, at least you can save at a lot of health.
Yeizmat is easy. Just use the reverse item assesory and use pheonix down. Instant win.

*Brachiraidos laughing in the distance*
I read somewhere that Safer Sephiroth is actually a mistranslation, like Aeris/Aerith.
It was actually meant to be Seraph Sephiroth. Looking at his design, and the battle theme "One Winged Angel", it makes sense. :-)
Amy general idea when top 10 worst final fantasy bosses will come out? (That is just an awesome topic to discuss I can't wait to see the list)
+TheNCSmaster I'm planning on getting the list out sometime in October. No specific date though.
Normally, I hate commentary, but you're funny. I like your reviews.
Using this as a guide for my RPG I’m working on.
Actual names, please.
+Andynj373 NAMES!
Let me get this straight:
1. Cloud Strife
2. Jade Curtiss
3. Monster Energy Drink
4. HAL-9000
5. Anakin Skywalker
6. Lucina
7. Bahamut
8. Very Big Bahamut
9. Jack Frost
10. Nonspecific Creator Entity #128
Is that it? Did I get them all?
+likeajon #10 = Bhunivelze from LR:FF13?
swap lucina and jack frost and we good
Love seeing RWBY in the intro :3
And Nectron, while being entirely random, was still another fun and challenging boss, with another great theme.
Will u do Top 10 Hardest FF Bosses including the Super Bosses I would love to see ur opinion cuz those guys can go from Ruining Childhoods etc
Why no love for 8? :(
I think Maverick mentioned he hasn't played much of VIII.
*****
Oh, right!
AsterOrca Oh yeah it took me like 20 retries to finally get a strat down to beat her, but that's part of the fun in FF.
*****
Oh boy...I remember the first time I fought her, I beat her after the 20-something tries, but then I lost to the next boss because I forgot to switch out a severely underleveled Zell for Rinoa (who is my go-to mage, also explaining another bit of my struggle with Adel) and then got smacked by Ultima before I could get some shells up, and the save circle before that boss glitched up, so I had to fight Adel all over again...I estimate that it took me 43 tries in total to beat Adel on my first playthrough, accidental retry included.
Do you think you can make a video of yourself fighting Ozma from FFIX?
As I've understood the final match of Sephiroth and Cloud is mainly metaphorical. After being defeated, Sephiroth resorts to trying to take control of Cloud like he successfully did before, and the fight is just Cloud resisting and overcoming his Jenova "curse". Final Fantasy seems to like to have those kinds of battle scenes.
I totally love the final boss battles and villains of 12,13-2 and 15
+MaverickHunterZero75 good list, but you know what is missing on the channel? A Bravely Default list! I'd say you do a list on either the bosses or the job classes (because there is A LOT of them!)
I approve of your #1. Kuja is my favorite villain as well. Very, very nuanced character. Excruuuuciatingly EASY final battle against him though. It's why they had to make Necron so hard.
Rachel Geraci the music was great as well
I think there's two bosses from Final Fantasy 6 that deserve a special mention, even though Kefka is definitely the best boss fight in the game.
Lord Kefka Thanks for the suggestion. To be honest I've finished FF1 and now I'm playing FF2.
Have a good day .
FFX was pretty good, just finished it 5 minutes ago. But be warned, some of the bosses are pretty rage inducing
FF2 AND FF3 are the worst of the main games hope you didn't stop there 1,4,6,7,9,and 10 get all the love but i also enjoyed 5,8,13 good luck
Can someone please tell me what song this is at the very beginning of this video?! I've looked up dissidia vocal them 2015 and no luck.
I agree, Dark Messenger is my second favorite FF final boss music after Dancing Mad (4th Movement).
I love how FF2's boss theme, fits Emperor so well
Hahahahahahaha! How long I've waited!
Bite my shiny metal ass!
This list had a lot of "despite how good this boss is, the next one is better" moments.
Hey maverick I have a question
Which final fantasy character do you want in the new super smash bros game? I’d choose black mage because well he’s just so COOL. But still great video
10. Oh look a baby Metal Gear rex. :D
9. AlphaOmegaSin: *sigh* man I like Fan service sometimes *click* Yeah. XD
8. God Dam some mage has been Taken some Steroids. O_O
7. Oh look it's Lex Luthor if he was an evil Ruler of Both Earth and Hell. XD
6. Oh look it's the anti-Buddha. XD
5. Let's just hope the Remake will not Fuck up the Final phase of Sephiroths boss fight.
4. Oh look it's the Final Fantasy Version of the Clown Prince of crime.
3. Oh look the FF version of The Emperor Palpatine. :D
2. Oh hi Alex. XD
1.I"m just a sweet transvestite. (sorry I couldn't resist) XD
Good list as always Mavrick. ;)
+Leonardo Juan A fellow viewer of AlphaOmegaSin? Good to know!
Axl EXE Thanks. :)
and how do you know I subscribed to AlphaOmegaSin?
How?...QG?
Axl EXE
Oh ok. :)
***** thanks. :)
I agree that Kuja is a very underrated villain. He has a great backstory and characterization throughout the game.
Are you using AVS Video Editor? I notice the same audio glitch that I have to deal with when I'm messing with audio levels.
Dude... i h8 ya intro but i love yur vids
Kuja is the bae, i'm so happy to see him at the top of a list. He never is. Also I'm very chuffed you including kefka too.
Also, I found Seymour 4 to be his easiest version
justin glick I disagree. His first is the hardest IMO
+justin glick (Nostalgic Gamer)I got stuck at this battle. Really, I never managed to beat Seymour third form...
Chourtaird1 I just got everyone into overdrive mode
+DeathGodRiku it is unless yu don't grind.
It's not really grinding. I just went and got Anima
20:19 Video Game Trope #101 - When you hear an organ playing, you know s*** is about to hit the fan.
so, if you've taken a look at Final Fantasy XIV since this vid, would any of the fights have the potential for an honorable mention? they've done some fantastic work on the classic summons and fights to make them unbelievably good fights. personal favorites go to The Minstrel's Ballad: Thordan's Reign, Royal Menagerie, and Containment Bays
*has flashbacks to the battle with the Falco Velocycle and PSICOM Air Snipers*
where did you get that final fantasy IX footage that looks amazing I wish I could get my game to look that pretty
+Ozone The Cheat I believe that's from the game emulated on the pc
+The Phantom Fedora oh sadness I was hoping it was the game on ps2 or just finding some other way to make it look like that as I do own a a actual copy of IX
what is the music of the trasition of the video of Top Ten Worst Final Fantasy Boss Battles
Damn kujas theme is epic. Seriously nothing says final boss like an organ playing the boss theme. On top of that the music is just epic
the footage of final fantasy and final fantasy 2 are those from the psp import?
You make every battle sound harder than it is
Big Bangs damage potential: "IT'S OVER 9'000!!!"
Necron may be Death itself, whom Zidane has to fight in order for the people killed by Kuja to resurrect, or maybe another form of Kuja himself, who knows.
+MaverickHunterZero75 15:04: OK his name is always pronounced with a K not a C!......What version of Final Fantasy 6 is this?
Talking about Final Fantasy bosses that keep coming back: Caius Motherf*cking Ballad
Why did everyone in that FFVII fight have their default names but Red XIII was named Garlic? lol
I think the Warmech kind of fits in in the original game. After all, didn't Garland decide to mess up time?
I mean, he could've easily pulled something from the future to guard him.
If I remember, WarMech was leftover from the civilisation that built the Flying Fortress.
What level were you at the time? Also, does sound like a glitch.
You shouldn't be over level 40 to fight him if you want a challenge.
Are you using Quina? Well your video got an instant like for me. B)
Childhood legend 🙏🏾
Wow nice intro
As FFIX is my favorite main series FF that I've played as well, I'm really happy to see Kuja on there. Aside from the boss fight, what was your favorite part of FFIX?
