Im a consultant working with the big 4 in india, dealing with US clients. Been called to US for some engagememts so always wondered how the life is on the other side, its good!

Thanks man! Always! And it’s called Teleparty. It allows us to watch the same show on Hulu, Netflix, etc. simultaneously and chat on a screen within the service. Very convenient.
Can you get a good work life balance in NYC or do you have to work long hours or on weekends? I know as a consultant your answer would probably be yes but I mean for the general consensus (specifically tech jobs but I know you may not be as aware of that field).
You can certainly get a good balance. I’ve been very fortunate to have that so far, and a lot of my friends are in similar situations (other than those in IB). Even if you occasionally have to work a few hours on The Weeknd’s it’s not the end of the world.
Great video. Can you do one about well-being when working a corporate job in NYC? 6:30pm is a late time to end a salaried job, are you ever afraid of burn out? How do you manage that?
Definitely! Not every night is 6:30 for me, but that’s a typical range for a lot of people in NYC. And I managed burnout by actually leaving this job and doing something I love and am passionate about!

Many people choose to commute, so they don’t live in the city. Also, this was the last week of summer, so a lot of people are working remotely from vacation locations.

Hey! Work life balance is honestly very solid and KPMG does a superb job of hosting happy hours and plenty of events to meet others. They send you to their Lakehouse right at the beginning of the program where you meet everyone.
