Thank you so much but you have no idea how easy you make this look. Im a regular local tournament fishermen on the Tn river system. 5 years and I'm still not consistent. I'll keep fishing and watching.
Great video. I went out and bought the flat sided crankbait right after watching this, fished a rocky area on the NW corner of a lake I fish, and caught 7 bass and three catfish in a short period of time. I was surprised at how quickly I caught them with temps having dropped recently. Last fish bit it at the boat and snapped my line.
Man I come down there every year and work the nuclear plant and I’m down there during prime fishing time I’m gonna have to bring my boat down here in the next month when I come down! Great vids man very much enjoyed the vids I’ve seen from you!
Couldn't agree more... I have only watched this one video, but if they're all half this good, count me in! I love the information on where you are moving in the lake and why. Good stuff!
I watched the video twice, but I didn't hear you mention what reel you're using. I know you said a 5.3:1 gear ratio. I'm trying to find a reel in that 5.0 to 5.6 range, specifically for this type of cranking.
Love the videos! Might have to get out and do some crankbait fishing up here in Illinois. Keep posting when you get time! It’s tough when you’re in school though, I’ve been slacking too lol.
Enjoyed the video. I'm going fishing in East TN in early Feb, other than a flat sided crankbait, what else do you throw in the Winter? East TN water should be much clearer than what you were fishing, btw.
I know you’ve done videoed before on this but what power rod do you use for your deep divers. More specifically, I have a medium power 7’4” SixGill Kranken rod designed for crankin. Do I need more rod for the 6th sense Cloud 9 series C25 deep crank? Thanks for all the great info, keep up the great work!
Great video and some real nice fish. I like the fact that you done it in the winter time shows that you can catch some really good fish this time of the year great job
I would love to see a video on the ins and outs of being sponsored; how to get sponsored and some other info because I hear you were sponsored at 9 years old and although the industry has probably changed a lot, I would love to hear what knowledge u have
I need some highland reservoir advice brother. I can catch em pretty dang good all over the country but the one thing I’ve ALWAYS struggled with is highland big rocky bluff wall lookin lakes. Grand lake in Oklahoma in particular gives me a hard time!!!
Great video , let me ask a question , I think the fish was eating early cause low light minnows move an stained water makes it easy for bass to ambush bait , you think that could be , cause here in tenn river chain around Florence Alabama we have same conditions during hard winters. An they is a nice bag of fish.
I like the fact that your staying loyal to one brand. That's good. Nice catches. Do you put a different backing on first, or do you throw straight flouro?
New sub! enjoy your stuff man. Any advice for a kayak fisherman on Lake Dardanelle. Big lake and i can't cover a lot of area. I was thinking about working Piney Creek and maybe Piney Bay. any advice would be great! thanks
Thanks! I would launch at the Ouita boat ramp in Illinois Bayou. It's back behind the 64 bridge. There are always fish living down the riprap by the road and there are also some good offshore ledges close to the boat ramp that the fish will get on in the summer. hope that helps
I will throw a crankbait at any time. My favorite bait by far idc what anyone says the only thing that can stop me from using it is if theres a bunch of logs or other weird structures to snag on
I saw their entry fees, a tad too pricey. If you ever needed more content though people love to watch tournaments. Next time you fish one you should record it and post it.
I haven't been fishing enough lately to put money down on a tournament, but I plan to start fishing and filming tournaments when I get out of grad school.
Wow excellent video! New sub, and doesnt it feel good to figure em out in the cold water!? Also, what rod is that? Loads up nice. Ugly, but had a nice load to it.
Need to do a video on how a guy your age is able to afford all this fancy equipment. I mean boat, electronics, a blue and red set of bibs and jacket. How do you do it ?
Hey Richard. First, I was sponsored by 12 fishing companies since the age of 9 and worked with them until I was 19. This eliminated the cost of rods, reels, baits, clothing (bibs) etc. Second, I have amazing parents who bought me a boat instead of a car when I was 16 and allowed me to borrow their cars to pull my boat for 3 years until I got my own car. Finally, I worked through college to buy the graphs. Hope that clears it up for you!
Yeah, it was a weird winter. I think I filmed that video on December 22nd and the water temps were 41 degrees. But then a week later, the water was back up to 45 degrees
I have yet to catch bass cold water cranking. Great job.
Very good video! Thanks for sharing
excellent video
Thank you
Reporting air and water temp are helpful. Wish more channels would provide that info. Thanks!
Thank you so much but you have no idea how easy you make this look. Im a regular local tournament fishermen on the Tn river system. 5 years and I'm still not consistent. I'll keep fishing and watching.
Some of the best fishing videos on UA-cam.
Best videos out right now. Love your graphics and explanation of fish finders. Only other videos I watch are Tactical Bassin.
I've watched a million fishing videos and yours are more informative than any. Top notch brother.
Glad you enjoyed!
Big fan of these videos great tips and the maps and sonar shots really make it easy to follow. If your new to bassfishing watch this guy closely 👍

Thanks for the tips.

Thanks awesome! Glad the technique works but sorry you lost the bait!

Good job! I can't brag on your videos enough! Keep 'em coming.
Thank you! New video coming at the end of this week!
Good info here as I have opts to bass fish with marginal winters along the Mason Dixon Line that see 40-45 degree water. Thanks, subbed.
Man I come down there every year and work the nuclear plant and I’m down there during prime fishing time I’m gonna have to bring my boat down here in the next month when I come down! Great vids man very much enjoyed the vids I’ve seen from you!
Thanks, Hunter! I'm glad you like them

Couldn't agree more... I have only watched this one video, but if they're all half this good, count me in! I love the information on where you are moving in the lake and why. Good stuff!

1000th like, great info on cold water. Great video thanks
Great video man! Thoroughly enjoyed it, love your multiple camera angles. You're knowledgable too. Team #Strike King!!! That's a great crankbait.
Best crankbaits on the market at their price in my opinion! Glad you enjoyed.
2nd video ive seen by you. Another quality, instructional video done for us to watch.
Thank you!
Best lake in Arkansas in my opinion
I watched the video twice, but I didn't hear you mention what reel you're using. I know you said a 5.3:1 gear ratio. I'm trying to find a reel in that 5.0 to 5.6 range, specifically for this type of cranking.
Always posting great content. I learn a ton from all your videos. Keep it coming!
Good tips. Miss your show. Hope everything is ok.
At 1:50 you talk about discovering a new setting on your graph to locate shell beds. Could you show us how to do that someday? Another great video!👍
Exactly wat i needed jus ordered one..
Nice work man!! Love that lake!
Cool video! What's that boat you fish out of?
Is it best to go in the afternoon? When the water is below 50°? Here in Texas the Florida strain bass are really lethargic in cold water.
love the video man
Thanks!
Nice fish. Great video. No doubt riprap is good in the fall and winter, I'm not sure I buy everyone's theory that it heats up the water though.
NE Ohio lake erie as of today 51 degrees water been dirty tho off Shore ugh! Nice fishing love crank baits
Since he Aint Sayin. This 1st set of rocks are right at the Dardanelle State Park Ramp
This is great!
Nice belly slap on that hog lol good stuff
Hahaha it's my signature move!
How do you keep your guides from freezing?
Keep at it man. These are good vids with clear communication
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed
loving the vids. keep them going.
Love the videos! Might have to get out and do some crankbait fishing up here in Illinois. Keep posting when you get time! It’s tough when you’re in school though, I’ve been slacking too lol.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed
What color would u fish if it was clear water at least 6ft or more
very nice video! looks very well made keep it up!
Thank you!
Enjoyed the video. I'm going fishing in East TN in early Feb, other than a flat sided crankbait, what else do you throw in the Winter? East TN water should be much clearer than what you were fishing, btw.
It doesn’t warm up the surrounding water he is fishing the edges that water tight to rocks will be warmer there
I know you’ve done videoed before on this but what power rod do you use for your deep divers. More specifically, I have a medium power 7’4” SixGill Kranken rod designed for crankin. Great video and some real nice fish. I like the fact that you done it in the winter time shows that you can catch some really good fish this time of the year great job
Thank you! I have some of my best fishing days of the year in the winter!
Good vid
Thanks!
I am still trying to learn cold weather fishing, I would of had no idea fish would be that shallow in 40F
Ok. I’d rather talk shell beds
Great video , let me ask a question , I think the fish was eating early cause low light minnows move an stained water makes it easy for bass to ambush bait , you think that could be , cause here in tenn river chain around Florence Alabama we have same conditions during hard winters. An they is a nice bag of fish.
2 questions, can you do a video on your Humminbird depth finders?
Do you even own a net, you always lip them.
Awesome day for 41 degrees. Thanks
I was thinking about working Piney Creek and maybe Piney Bay. any advice would be great! thanks

Fish the Moment Thanks man! Appreciate you taking time and responding quickly. Helps a lot!
As a bank fisherman, would crankbaits work along rip rap all year around?
Nice! What rod are you using brother?
How come when you catch fish in the winter their gills are always flared out, same thing in Texas?
What’s your Crankbait rod
You got some solid vids you just need to upload more consistently and u would have a lot of subs
Thanks you. Haha that's the plan. I will hopefully be uploading more consistently this summer
Anyone crank in water temps under 40? Mid to high 30s?
I will throw a crankbait at any time. My favorite bait by far idc what anyone says the only thing that can stop me from using it is if theres a bunch of logs or other weird structures to snag on
Fishing my home lake are you from Arkansas?
Yeah, I'm from central Arkansas. I love Dardanelle
Fish the Moment what bass club do you fish?
I'm not in one right now. I used to fish in the Anvil Jaw club
I saw their entry fees, a tad too pricey. If you ever needed more content though people love to watch tournaments. Next time you fish one you should record it and post it.
I haven't been fishing enough lately to put money down on a tournament, but I plan to start fishing and filming tournaments when I get out of grad school.
What part of Arkansas r u from?
Wow excellent video! New sub, and doesnt it feel good to figure em out in the cold water!?
Also, what rod is that? Loads up nice. Ugly, but had a nice load to it.
What's the water temp?
I thought it was air temp, not water
The water temp was actually 41 degrees and the air temp was like 37 degrees
Nice video. What state u in?
Arkansas

Alot of green on those trees to be January and 41 degree water 🤔
Yeah, it was a weird winter. I think I filmed that video on December 22nd and the water temps were 41 degrees. But then a week later, the water was back up to 45 degrees
