There was a relatively short pitcher back in the day, a lefty named Billy Wagner. In once yelled support to him while he was warming up in the outfield and he turned and looked at me. Similar outcome here in terms of mph, but this new guy throws more 3/4, it seems. Impressive.
So long as the velo is there (80+) and there's some sort of bridge pitch in the gyro slider, it's likely going to be successful. We've had some big leaguers struggle because they throw a carry fastball and then a huge curveball that's only mid 70s. The Wainwright effect if you may. Adding a cutter or a gyro to split the difference can be huge for guys like that.
The foot lands slightly open, but the stride is slightly cross body. Likely a combo of hip structure and getting back in line with the plate after cross striding
My guess is a 10th round pick at best. His body wont hold up. Look up JR Graham from Santa Clara U. About the same size and threw 102. Had a cup of coffee with the Twins.
@@treadathletics how thow? Energy is up testosterone is up blood flow is up joints muscles and ligaments are gonna be better since a deep sleep. That ultimately depends on the person if they are a morning person or not there’s a reason why people who go to work everyday working physical jobs get more done in the morning then later afternoon even with weightlifting ur gonna be stronger in the morning so how does this not apply with pitching?
All of those things can be dependent on sleep habits, which are not constant for athletes with travel, game times, Spring Training schedules, etc. We discuss it a bit towards the end of this video! ua-cam.com/video/ncYvs0MZRWk/v-deo.html
Royals seem to work with you guys a lot. Love that for my team. You guys are great. Keep up the awesome content
Gardner Minshew really stretching it out baby.
Love this guys delivery and great stuff

Dude looks like he has better command on his breaking pitches than his 4 seam. Impressive velocity though for a guy his size.
The commands seem to be getting better
also have to specify its from the left side here guys. He is not just another righty
Thousands of pitchers in H.S, college and minor leagues throw 95 now and most of them will never make it to MLB
It’s all about accuracy and this guy is all over the place.
Yeah but how hard does he throw at 11am?
what's this guy's wingspan?
do you think since the fastball has so much carry the curveball is too big?

He seems to land with the foot slightly open. Is that due to his hip structure?

Man, these poor catchers. After a month of this, I bet they're ready for D1.
They have huge opportunity there, catchers train for free
I'm confused. Whats the significance of it being 10 a.m.?
Traditionally, it's more difficult to throw early in the morning as compared to an afternoon/evening game
@@treadathletics by 2pm, he'll only be 5'9 though. 😂
Command?
This was posted a few days before he tore his UCL at end of February in ST? Same guy?
Yes, it's Christian Chamberlain. Out for season.
My arm hurts
I’m having Tommy John after watching this video 😆
I dont think I've ever seen someone who looks less like they can throw 96.

4th rounder and has been up to AAA already...
Good for him. I hope he makes and can get to a big contract. I will follow him.
What’s his name
?
A lefty with that pace could go a long way if he can harness his control
0:20 holy shit you guys get started with the trolling early
David pitcher in action!!!!!
imagine this guy at 3 or 4 p.m
9 balls in a row
Baseball stock market, plenty of inflation of velocity, new IPOs everyday, but sustainable assets to bring you dividends still a bullish market…..
This didn’t age well
can he pitch...throwers are a dime a dozen
People don't realize that these 'radar readings' are a lot more random than they think. The same exact pitch can end up reading 82 MPH or 95 MPH.
That's simply untrue. We have TrackMan running simultaneously to confirm velos.
I mean it would make sense that he is throwing hard at 10am his body just came out of rest he’s full of energy
Power outputs tend to be significantly lower in the first few hours after waking up

Dude lost his chin
kid is gross
to bad he had a UCL injury
10 am, impressive. I wonder when he’ll get to 9 am
Little control..lots of guys throw that hard now.
🤔
I guess I'm old...a lefty throwing 95 use to be a big deal. He had a couple nasties and movement. Get in the box 😠
