Sweet Betty Sue

Just in time for Valentine’s Day - a love story for the ages!
Bobby Wayne & Betty Sue Manring have been great supporters of NOTA for many years. Coming to shows, cutting a rug as dancers, recording and sharing posts & performances, etc. Late in 2022, Bobby shared a song with Tim Sands that he had written for Betty Sue. He asked Tim if he could ‘grass’ it up a bit & sing it at an upcoming family reunion in June (Betty Sue and Tim are kin). NOTA then worked it up & performed it for Bobby and the folks at Sandy Ridge Music Association in December of ‘23. Afterwards, Tim Harrison suggested we use a session at the Willingham Theater to get a video recording and add some photos of Betty & Bobby - as a tribute to their life together and Bobby’s devotion to ‘sweet’ Betty Sue. We hope the Manrings - and everyone - will enjoy it!
