Security man doesn't understand what a public right of way is

- This is a rough farm track I use regularly to cut out a rather busy road. It goes right past Man Utd's training ground, but the OS maps clearly show that it's a public right of way.
There's some construction work going on at Man Utd's training ground right now so I think that's why these guys have been here the last few days.
One of them says that I'm not allowed to cycle down this lane, as it's a "private road". Looks like someone's never seen a green dashed line on an OS map then.
And then the cyclist goes past at the end, brilliant
I only stopped because I was interested to know what they were doing. Trust me, they won't be stopping me using that road.
Well that's harsh, not everyone understands these things. I just posted this because I wanted local people to see it and understand that these guys might try and illegally close a public right of way.
These guys that close it will be harsh regardless of laws an knowlage. Give a pratt from this country many any chances.
Had a school try to extend over a public right of way they even started the extension without proper notification to anyone nearby
I've had a few conversations with people explaining how private doesn't ALWAYS mean private.
trying it on no chance well done.

33 Extension of definition of “public place” in Public Order Act 1936.
For the definition of “public place” in section 9(1) of the M1 Public Order Act 1936 there shall be substituted-
“Public place” includes any highway and any other premises or place to which at the material time the public have or are permitted to have access, whether on payment or otherwise ”.
Only if it's a footpath. This is a bridleway.
Public Rights of Way are not specifically marked on OS maps, all paths are marked the same.
Why stop in the first place just keep going past him.

You know the old saying about security an police. Mensa members. Pizz takers or dummys all you get in Britain. Take your pick out of 90% all you will get or be a loner like me and 60% of the country.
I don't know if i'm right or if i'm wrong here ! But if there is a Public Right Of Way aren't you supposed to walk these 'right of way' ? Can anyone correct me ?
Im not a rights of way expert..😜..but i believe you can cycle on a bridleway...or byway..but not on a footpath.
Cycling is allowed on bridleways in uk.
If it's a B.O.A.T. you can drive on it
