I just found your channel today, thank you for great content. I came across someone else page talking about the dispatching industry, I became interested, but this person kept stressing how hard it is and how hard it will be, so I stopped watching different videos, I said I will leave that to those who younger then me and have better health, but it stayed on my heart, so I said let me see what a few more people have to say about the business. That’s when I came across your page, Thank you so much for explaining so clearly and sharing your experiences.
I am just seeing this very awesome video of yours and I must admit that from the hundreds of videos I have seen, your experience gave me an answer to what has been holding me back from starting up. You set me free today. Thank you a million times.
I am glad I found you. Your story is my story. My husband is looking for a truck and wants me to dispatch him. So thanks for sharing the real situations that most don't share.
I'm so happy to have found your videos because you are providing us with information that is relative to actual incidents that may arise. I have a trucker friend who offered to teach me how to dispatch loads for him a few years ago, but he never followed through with it. Now my curiosity has peak again recently and I want to do it now.
Thank you for taking the time to educate us. I am currently thinking of becoming a dispatcher and I have nooooo experience at all in the world of logistics, however I cant let fear stop me.. please continue to post video they are really helpful 🤗🤗

Also you can have your driver take note of the time they begin unloading him if it takes them more than 2 hours he is supposed to receive layover pay which can be anywhere between $25 - $50 an hour
Hi! Thank you so much for this info. I am new to this business. Can you give me examples of “lanes” as I have no idea what to put there. I’ve already missed out on my first possible load because I don’t know anything about lanes. 🤦🏽♀️
I love that I came across your channel. Will you be willing to give 1on 1 training? Im very interested in learning this business to help my husband in his new career as a Truck Driver and for me to become a dispatcher also.
I love all your videos they are so Informative, thank for letting us know what will it be like. Can you give me like a script for dispatch beginners . Thank you 😊🙏🏽
How are you doing sis? I see you stopped posting videos a couple months back… either you got super busy or you stopped dispatching! Hoping not the latter!
you will have incidents like that. my driver picked up his load and broker decided to add more onto the truck which means your making more money. also watch out for double Broker Scheme another thing also run a credit check on your debtor we have had several problems where we would deliver AND the company which were haling freight from have to give us a code for a EFS check
Great video thank you so much for sharing your journey. May you please explain the following? 1. how do I determine a preferred lane as a new dispatcher? 2. Am I sending them a for my business W9 ? 3. Who's Certification of insurance and Authority information am I sending to the broker? 4. As a dispatcher (only) am I suppose to have insurance and an authority? Thank you so much....
When your booking a load with the broker, he will ask you your company insurance and authority to easily identify that you're the owner of the company and later when you damaged his products where to trace from. The insurance will pay back if anything wrong happens to his product, That why they need your company information, CLEAR.
Is the FB asking that both the carrier and disp. download the tracking app? What happens after the load is canceled, but the carrier is 45 min. away from the destination? I suppose the truck will still have to be unloaded for the next carrier to pick it up. And isn't there sometimes a fee to load/unload, and will your carrier have to pay to have it unloaded?
Did you do all self research or did you take a course? What was the turnaround time from you researching and actually putting your foot in the water? I’m enjoying these videos.
I did self research, but I plan on taking a course in the near future. I have on the job training (remotely). I'm currently working as a independent contractor for a trucking company. Therefore, I don't have my own dispatching company yet. The paperwork is in the mail....in the meantime I'm using this experience to gain more knowledge about logistics dispatching.

Why does a dispatcher need insurance?
And what's an authority?
When your booking a load with the broker, he will ask you your company insurance and authority to easily identify that you're the owner of the company and later when you damaged his products where to trace from. The insurance will pay back if anything wrong happens to his product, That why they need your company information, CLEAR.

At this situation would you contact the first broker to negotiate detention pay or do you negotiate that before hand
You would inform the broker ASAP. Detention pay most times is not negotiable. The range is between $25-$50 per hour.

Yes

How do you buy the load board if you are not a carrier or a broker??
You subscribe to them on a monthly basis.

Is there anyway you can send new carrier packets online free?
Carrier packets are given to carriers for free from the Brokers.
