2024 this worked! i got new century link wifi about a month ago and ive had to run an ethernet cord around my house to get it to connect. immediately after doing this i was able to get wireless wifi on my tv again! yay no more hassle of cords! thank you

Hello. I hope this works for someone. I followed his instructions but it still didn’t connect so I followed the instructions again and this time enabled the network pings and my Roku connected to my Wi-Fi. This worked for both of my Roku devices.

I could not connect to wifi and every time my roku got disconnected, it would also disconnect from the wifi and no networks would pop up, after doing what video said it worked perfect!

tied it but doesn't work! did a system reboot still doesn't work! our older roku works but the newer one won't connect to wifi crazy! gonna try resetting back to manufacturers settings but gave ya a thumbs up for sharing this ❣️👍🏻

If you having trouble like the wifi is good but the tv keep saying it’s off, just go to settings:Advanced system settings:Network Connection Reset: and you’re good to go.

For error 14.30: Unplug Roku from the back of the tv and unplug router, hold tv power button for 20 seconds, wait a minute, turn tv back on, plug everything back in, restart Roku from settings , connect to wifi
This is the only sequence that worked after we had several power outages in one day. Thank you!

I can't stand this dumb TV, always disconnects from WiFi and when I'm looking at the home menu, it doesn't even show what icon I'm on with my remote. Had for 4 months and already messing up

How old is this video? I’ve only had this roku tv less then a year, just wondering whether if it’s 5 yrs old or 1 yr old tv to work with your tutorial should u still hv the bouncing letters at the end in able for it to work?

tried this on all three roku's I have. nothing working. Everything else in the house is working fine, but none of the rokus wil accept the password and connect. what are the odds that all three go out at the same time? Changed my wifi name and shorter simpler passwords, but nothing.

I tried all the videos, this was the only one that worked! The trick is that you must unplug the TV at the end for atleast a minute!

Thanks for the video. So far it is working longer than any of the other things I have tried.
Solution found: Tried unplugging, resetting and rebooting everything: router, TV and cable modem but nothing worked until I turned OFF the router's "Quality of Service (QoS)" parameter and instantly my TV was able to find the wireless network in a second. To confirm this was the cause, I tried turning QoS back on and repeating the wireless scan and again it could not find the wireless network. I'm not saying this is the solution for everybody, but if you've tried everything else...try turning OFF the router's "Quality of Service (QoS)" parameter.
According to my manual: Quality of Service (QoS) refers to the capability of a network to provide better service to selected network traffic. The primary goal of QoS is to provide priority including dedicated bandwidth, controlled jitter and latency (required by some real-time and interactive traffic), and improved loss characteristics.
I haven't tried yet but I'm wondering if this also works with Roku streaming devices such as the Roku streaming stick as well? I can't connect to network on that device. I will give it a try soon.

Hello. I have roku express 4k unit connected to my sony tv. The power switch on the roku remote turns the tv and the roku on/off. The problem I am having is that every time I turn off the TV/Roku and turn back on in few minutes, the Internet is disconnected and I have to reset the network connection to re-connect again. My TV in the living room does not do that. This particular TV with the problem is next to my xfinity modem. Any thoughts/suggestions? ty
