  • Labour frontbencher Tulip Siddiq has told Kay Burley that if Labour form the next government they will be calling for a two-state solution "100%".
She said: "That is the Labour party's position - it has been for a long time, and it will remain."
Ms Siddiq was also asked about the Institute for Fiscal Studies urging reform of the triple lock on state pensions in order to protect the public finances.

Interesting that they do not ask the question: what is Palestinian opinion on two state solution?

Neither Israel or the Palestinians want a two state solution. Hamas, sadly has made this impossible now.
      Palestinians about 25% in favour.
      Israelis about 35% in favour?
Support for a two state solution is at a all time low. I'm guessing one of the aims of hamas.

Israel funded Hamas in the hope that by sustaining Hamas in Gaza it would widen the split between Gaza and the West Bank, undermine the Palestinian Authority (PA) and make the prospect of a unified Palestinian position impossible.
"Anyone who wants to thwart the establishment of a Palestinian state has to support bolstering Hamas and transferring money to Hamas … This is part of our strategy - to isolate the Palestinians in Gaza from the Palestinians in the West Bank.”
March 2019, Netanyahu told his Likud colleagues the above.
Likud Party: Original Party Platform (1977)
      a. The right of the Jewish people to the land of Israel is eternal and indisputable and is linked with the right to security and peace; therefore, Judea and Samaria will not be handed to any foreign administration; BETWEEN THE SEA AND THE JORDAN THERE WILL ONLY ISRAELI SOVEREIGNTY
      b. A plan which relinquishes parts of western Eretz Israel, undermines our right to the country, unavoidably leads to the establishment of a "Palestinian State," jeopardizes the security of the Jewish population, endangers the existence of the State of Israel. and frustrates any prospect of peace
Brig. Gen. Yitzhak Segev, who was the Israeli military governor in Gaza in the early 1980s. Segev later told a New York Times reporter that he had helped finance the Palestinian Islamist movement as a “counterweight” to the secularists and leftists of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Fatah party, led by Yasser Arafat (who himself referred to Hamas as “a creature of Israel.”)
“The Israeli government gave me a budget,” the retired brigadier general confessed, “and the military government gives to the mosques.”
“Hamas, to my great regret, is Israel’s creation,” Avner Cohen, a former Israeli religious affairs official who worked in Gaza for more than two decades, told the Wall Street Journal in 2009. Back in the mid-1980s, Cohen even wrote an official report to his superiors warning them not to play divide-and-rule in the Occupied Territories, by backing Palestinian Islamists against Palestinian secularists. “I … suggest focusing our efforts on finding ways to break up this monster before this reality jumps in our face,” he wrote.

For years, Netanyahu propped up Hamas. Now it’s blown up in our faces - The premier’s policy of treating the terror group as a partner, at the expense of Abbas and Palestinian statehood, has resulted in wounds that will take Israel years to heal from

The Arab/Israeli conflict has an answer in distance…but not apartheid which simply means apartness; I mean real distance.
Turkey’s Erdogan has long dreamed of uniting Islamic countries and here is his chance. There is a place for every Arab in Gaza and the West Bank but first one must accept the time for negotiating with a fictional people has passed. It is time to relocate Arabs from Gaza and the West Bank away from Israel; a two state solution as God would have it…that would also include Muslims in Europe and the United States.
There is a common sense solution to the “Palestinian” and Muslim migration issue when one calculates the length of the coastline going north from Lebanon including the Tartus/Latakia Governorates of Syria combined with the Hatay (appendix) Province of Turkey it constitutes a strip of land on the Mediterranean that equals Israel’s shoreline. The Tartus Governorate is 731 sq. mi. / the Latakia Governorate is 887 sq. mi. / the Hatay Province is 2133 sq. mi. for a total of 3751 sq. mi. far exceeding the 1450 sq. mi. of arable land in Israel…enough shoreline to create an Arab Riviera and enough land to absorb the every Arab in the Promised Land and Muslim in Europe.
Hatay Province is a dirty little secret kept quiet and away from outside eyes; Hatay was annexed in 1939 within a year of the death of Turkey’s founder Ataturk who recognized it as a Syrian province and since then has remained an unresolved issue…until now.
Land for peace has been a mantra for decades as have the two state and one state “solutions” and all have failed miserably. It is both reasonable and logical a just God of Sinai would impose upon Islam the definition of justice they themselves imposed upon Israel. The land for peace solution requires detaching the festering appendix that is Hatay Province from Turkey to be joined with Tartus and Latakia to create a federal district much like the District of Columbia; the capitol of the nation of Ishmael which would form around it; an Arab Mediterranean Riviera.
It would be very easy to evacuate Gaza by ship for the short 340 mile trip to Hatay Province. Once there the pretense of an identifiable “Palestinian” people can be dropped and they can start to build the Mediterranean Riviera that was originally envisioned by the fools who ceded Gaza. In addition, as part of any hostage exchange the thousands in Israeli prisons would logically have them incapable of threatening Israel by distance.
Talk of integrating Muslims into America, Europe or Israel is as foolish as giving Islamists Gaza in the first place.
