Thank you! Yeah this tune follows a fairly simple slap pattern - technically you "slap" (thumb) the bottom notes (a-string) and "pop" (plucking with first or index finger) the top notes (g-string).
In the intro we should play F and E before the hammer-on according to the sheet. Any reason you're playing F# and Eb? Thanks for the video! Edit: I meant I thought I'm supposed to play F then G and Eb then F
Hey Luiz! What part of the intro are you referring to? Eb is in the key signature so there are definitely no E naturals in the intro. And I'm not playing any F#s either, for sure. Maybe it looks like my first finger is creeping over the fret marker? But it's definitely on the F. If you want to provide a timestamp I'd be happy to say exactly what's going on there.
@@BennyTheBassman Maybe I'm seeing completely wrong, still trying to get used to music sheets ahahahha but even in the tabs it shows I should play the 10th fret then hammer-on to 12th, and after that the 8th fret and hammer-on to 10th, and it seems to me you are playing on 11th and 9th frets (on the G string), starting at 0:18 . But yeah maybe I need some glasses

Shouldn't the quarter notes in the first slap phrase be half notes and not have nearly as many quarter rests? I cant get the timing right Dx
