Hello ASL Heroes!!! Hey, I could really use your help. If you’ve enjoyed having access to an expert in ASL you can help me continue my work for you. A small donation from you would instantly make a big difference here at the studio because teachers don’t earn much and I could use some help paying for server and domain hosting for Lifeprint.com. You can help out a humble (not to mention kind, caring, generous, compassionate, helpful, friendly, fair, and hard-working) ASL teacher -- just go here right now and a few clicks later you too will be a true “ASL Hero!” www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=64QMBRBXQSV6G Thanks! - Dr. Bill p.s. See "SuperUSB" in the ASLUniversity bookstore at: lifeprint.com/bookstore/bookstore.htm Take care and love to you all. :)
Awesome video. I took ASL classes ten years ago, and these signs did not exist! This language is always evolving. My instructor was amazing, however, I wish she had signed every class instead of signing and verbalizing. You learn so much better without the sound crutch. Thank you for sharing with all of us!
I've looked at many bid videos. Im learning ASL and your videos by far are the most enjoyable with your great attitude and your bringing some fun joking into it. I definitely learn best with the method you use. Very Nice! Thank you for making this possible!👍💕💕💕🌹🥰
Ive been in an asl class through out all of middle school so for 3 years, basically. The first yesr is a half year class. Im happy that i didnt need subtitles and i understood every thing he was saying. Im currently finished with my ASL level 2 class and im so excited for next year because i will have an actual deaf teacher. Yay!
I want to really thank you for all your educational video i have come so far in to learning i am so happy even with my fast paste life i can still manage to come back to your channel and get some learning on...
To distinguish CUTE, from SUGAR/SWEET I use the 3 CL for cute and the closed 5 CL for SUGAR/SWEET. I'm 55 and have signed since the age of seven years old and I still learn something new all the time. Most of these I knew but a few I didn't. My grandson has Down Syndrome and his speech isn't clear so my late daughter and I have signed to him since birth. He lost a lot of it when she passed and I've had to reteach him over the past four years. He's 14 and does fairly well. Unfortunately now that mom is gone he only has me who signs and since he doesn't live with me I do what I can when I have him. I'm in three process of tracking him how to put signs together to form sentences and express ideas. Anyway, he loves UA-cam and that's a sign I didn't know so I was looking it up when I come across this video. I've watched you for years and recommend you to many many people. My students, son in law, my sister etc. Anyway, I've learned a few new things today thank you. I hope to continue to learn. I never want to feel as if "I know it all" or "I've arrived".

Ah. I'm completely alone in my learning so I was quickly lost with this video unfortunately. Does anyone know where I can find a breakdown for just social media words for complete beginners? Sorry for the odd question, I want to be able to tell others I'm learning asl from UA-cam mainly as I can't afford classes lol. I have one friend who also knows ASL who is helping me though!
"258" shows up in witty banter. It is a pun. You wouldn't sign it during a formal presentation. However, most adult native Deaf folk know the concept of "258."

She's so pretty! She can sign me up anytime
Does the Deaf community sign 258?

I know asl
There’s no captions 🙄
none of his videos have captions you have to start at the beginning of his videos so you know what he is saying in ASL.
You have the words they are explaining in the TV in the back
