Just subbed doll!👋👋👋 I'm looking into starting a shop!! I'm watching a few video's on how to start,tips..best places to shop etc . Great video doll👏👏👌👌
thank you so much for making these videos❤️❤️❤️you are incredibly helpful!!! I started my shop a bit over a month ago now, I’ve made quite a bit of sales but lately it has really slowed down :( Do you have any advice for making consistent sales when starting out? As of right now Depop is my only source of income. Thank you❤️☺️
Hey! I am glad the videos are helpful! My best advice for consistency is having a variety of different items on your shop e.g. bags, jumpers, coats and tshirts etc and keep the seasons in mind! Also make sure you are refreshing and adding listings even when sales are dead. I have found there does tend to be good weeks and bad weeks that cancel each other out and January is not a good month for sales either so it may just be that! Best of luck with your shop! x
I would opt for the flat lay. Lot's of successful shops just do flat lays so modelling isn't essential -especially with men's items. Just make sure you have a clean background behind.
Do you think it's okay to occasionally model if I'm primarily doing flat lays with a blue or white background? If I model, is it more advantageous to make it the first photo/thumbnail, or stick it later in the pics so my shop looks more consistent? Thank you for the advice!!
I would try both and see if you can spot which sells better. You may find that it doesn't make that much of a difference and then I would just pick which one you prefer. Thank you for the comment!!
Hi there , I'm new on depop and I wanted to ask if it's okay to use the bot to update my listings ? I've heard that the key to selling is to keep updating your listings all the time…. 🤔 If you have 5 products, then OK, but what about those who have hundreds of products, they also update them manually, spending half a day?🫠
Hey, I know a lot of accounts do use them. I don't feel super comfortable promoting them but I do believe they are fine to use as long as you don't abuse them and don't spam... I'm not sure what depop's take is on them...it's a grey area x
Very helpful & motivating video thank you!

Yes! It's when the room is the most bright lol
Great advice.
Is it OK if you don't have a model just to have it hanging? Or is it better ot have a lay flat?
