I’m sorry to hear you are still sick, hopefully it not the virus. If it bronchitis it’s not good either. That sure looks like a lot of work. But the results are going to look beautiful! That egg burger looked very good. and Breezy is just as beautiful as the cleavers when they are done.
You may have Covid, my friend. (sigh) My brother and several of his family members had it a 3-4 weeks ago. Glad to hear that you're going to try to get checked by a doctor today. Hopefully you can get something for congestion and that cough, regardless of the source. Enjoyed seeing your technique for keeping those holes in perfect alignment. Good to know about the clearance method you used to accommodate the epoxy. Both have applications in so many non-knife situations, too. Thanks! You've made me hungry again! Never thought about an egg burger. Super sized "Sausage Biscuit" and variants! 🙂 Pray you're feeling better soon. Pray that Charly doesn't catch it, if contagious. God Bless. Godspeed in your trip for relief.
Hope you can fight off that bronchitis. Do you think the dusty environment in the shop is bad for you? Good job utilizing every bit of that ironwood. So MANY steps to making a custom hand crafted knife! The big cleaver can double as a mirror. Breezy, you ARE the CUTEST! Happy Day!
Thanks for sharing the handle process. I forgot how you lined up those holes perfectly. Good luck at the doctor's. Hope he figures it out. Have a great Monday!
@@tsx3214because you don’t know that they don’t fit until after you’ve mixed the very expensive two part epoxy. A 1/4 inch hole drilled through wood, is never 1/4. It’s a few thousands smaller just by nature of how a drill works. That and the fact that the pins are always a few thousands over 1/4 make for some very frustrating attempts at hammering oversize pins through undersized holes.
@@onesky8647 what I found was when I got the epoxy mixed up, I would always have to take time to finesse each pin through handle, metal, then handle again and it took too much time. By reaming the holes after drilling them, I have very few issues getting everything to fit the first time, and the microscopic amount of space around the pin is filled with epoxy making an even more reliable handle.
Those are beautiful.
Thank you! Got the big one polished up and put the handles on.
🙏 for your recovery
Thanks!

Thanks! Working on the second one right now. Called the doc. Waiting on a return call.
No matter how many times I watch these builds I always think the same thing. "That's a lot of work"! Hope you get to feeling better.

Thanks. I don’t feel really bad, just very tired. Called my doctor tie early this morning and no response yet.
I'm not a doctor and I don't play one on the TV, so make an appointment. I've recently had to go see a doctor, thank God for South Texas VA.
Just called. Apparently I’m not important enough to see in person. They are likely going to call me in some drugs.
If you need antibiotics, it’s better not to wait indeed. Never used reamers, those pins must fit perfectly now. :)
