Hah yeah it is, good ear on that one =] but, every music I use is from some sort of game to avoid copyright lol, and as always, I appreciate the kind words!
Do eels on aggressive eat bodies? if so, maybe behind the turtles 1-2 eels as a shocking surprise, just to keep that los clear for the turrets after the enemies killed the turtles.
Yeah they do! Only problem with eels is that they will probably squeeze through the turtles and just Int themselves. Wish eels had more uses, but they are kinda useless tbf. An aggro Bary is probably the play!
@@FatCatArk yeah saw your commenting on Bary with the other guy. Mmmm overweighting them may also not make sense if they then would be too far away from the bodies, maybe with a dino leash
Leash could be an option, but to be fair, I highly doubt anyone will raid you in that spot lol. Considering they have to use a diplo to get in. Then body soak the front turrets hah
Mmm maybe not use fence but use those small metal things they’re like doorframes but smaller and thinner forgot the name and add turrets at the bottom of the entrance I’d say tek turrets so it can shoot the raider away and heavies across the entrance so it can shoot any Tek nades or whatever you can really use underwater and just have loads of tek turrets and maybe add a auto turret to soak the Cryo because u can still soak the heavies by throwing a Cryo if anyone didn’t know and then make a shandy outside so it gives a lil more time for them to even get to the entrance giving the defender more time to get on and defend Ik it has to be hidden but let’s be honest how long will it be till your enemies find your base? Might as well make it strong as possible
First off, love the comment and appreciate the brainstorming to make this spot better! Yeah the pixie sticks or fence supports. The problem that I’ve found with them is they actually LoS more than the fence foundation supports. I just needed to place them a bit better. The bottom of the entrance had turrets, one heavy was in the “first” entrance to shoot outside, then two tek turrets and a heavy was at the bottom of the second part leading up. (Kinda red gunned them when I did my “raid the base section” lol) Can’t shoot nades underwater so you’re good there. Only thing they can do is c4 bomb you if the turrets are on survivors only. Otherwise they have to soak. Eh I don’t think someone will throw a cryo 2500 times to soak a heavy lol. Best believe I wouldn’t hah. Biggest thing to worry about is tek bow explosive arrow since the pathways are narrow and can Los an arrow through. And I 100% agree with building the outside up! (I just didn’t feel like doing it lol) but obviously do it only if your inside is fully built and capped on ammo. Again, I appreciate the comment! You rock!
You can use a few Dino’s to get in, but you have to treat it like a pelagornis rathole. I think the only thing I tested was a kapro, but you can toss a Kapro into the first area, whistle it close to the hole and ride it I believe. Im sure it works with a baryonyx bad well, maybe. On unofficial, you can actually place a vacuum on that entrance and if you have tek boots, you can just crouch through. But other than that, you are pretty much limited to a diplo. That is the easiest way
So you may have to pop it out in the water, then jump it in to the right spot, are you uncryoing or spawning from unassembled? I believe they can be uncryo’d in 2x2x2 vacuums; maybe less if you get the right toss. I know they need 2 vacuum high though
@@FatCatArk had to pop it somewhere else first, then 2x2 👌 insane spot, not found on a 300 pop server since 2 weeks, we put vaults at the entry so it looks like it's normal
Niiice good stuff, honestly couldn’t remember how I got it in there lol, glad you got it worked out! I highly doubt anyone will touch you, especially if you are online!
what is the deal with all the turtles? Won't they just make it so the dead body blocks the turrets? Aren't sharks better, and also If you don;'t want to be found its not good to have them out. But honestly great vid. Keep it up
So the turtles, I’d only recommend on official servers since their HP is capped on mutations. This is just another added layer of defense but I 100% agree with adding sharks however they don’t fit, you can only really fit one. I even tried a build with pushing back the death wall to add space for sharks, but that exposes the little entrance to the right where they can bypass the wall. They honestly will only LoS on the last dead carbo because if they are on aggressive, they’ll have to deal with them. But I recommend putting a shadowmane or two in the back near the wall on aggressive so they go in last and clean up the dead bodies. It also is good to have turtles there so they can’t throw out a carbo themselves to soak. Cause honestly that is seriously the only way to break this rathole (if built properly) Thanks bud! I appreciate the conversation, I can talk about these defense tactics all day. Always learning and figuring new stuff out every day so thank you!
Good call on the shadowmanes, completely forgot about that change. But eh, as long as the carbo’s are on aggressive. You maaaay run into some LoS issues with tek rifling. However, since it’s so close quarters in that area I don’t think you can get away with tek rifling. The angle is just a bit off. And of course you don’t have to throw carbo’s out, just a nice added layer of defense. Especially in the first little part, you can definitely leave them out in the tunnel going up to the wall if you think it’ll LoS too much. Appreciate the comment bud!
Also, a substitute to the shadowmane could be a baryonyx in the back to clear all the dead bodies. Could be a nuisance to players in there since they can tail whip and stun. Do a mix match of carbo’s and bary’s
HAH! I got you! But honestly, even if people know about it now, it’s still such a good spot! I think you are good even with people know =] curious how you have it built, is it on official?
Lol cruise missile's are the least of people's worries, also can't shoot it underwater, so you'll have to navigate it from the surface, plus you'll have turret coverage, plus, if you can snake the missile through that tiny entrance, you deserve an award

The song starting at 0:07 is "Frozen Caves" from Abyss Odyssey, whatever game that is, it was on the PS3/360 lol. 🤷♀️
